For the mums!

I NEVER leave reviews ever, especially on websites however this product deserves to be reviewed. I purchased this to trial during pregnancy for my sensitive and acne prone skin. Now I’ve tried a ridiculous amount of cleansers over the years and rarely find one that’s the right balance of not too stripping, not too clogging, not too irritating - it’s a fine line. Now here’s where this product really shines.. I had a c section birth and my skin around the incision blistered, peeled and became a damp mess. This cleanser was my saving grace particularly when the wound was still relatively fresh. No stinging, no pain, gentle, did the job, and I love that the ingredients are mentioned as being antibacterial to some degree which earns brownie points. I was so glad I had this in my shower and it keeps my face at bay too. Happy days!!

THE BEST

So good!!! I've been hoping LRP would bring back the Toleriane softening gel cleanser or launch the one that's in Europe - but this has been a fantastic replacement nontheless. Soothes and hydrated my sensitive skin. Takes all my sunscreen off at the end of the day and preps it for tretinoin with no irritation whatsoever. Perfection.

Life saving cleanser

Very effective and delicate wash

Really like this. Doesn't foam a lot, which is a good thing when you use it on your face. It's non-irritating and gentle, but it's very effective and doesn't make your skin feel dry or tight after you've used it!

Didn't live up to expectations

I bought this after reading so many top reviews but after trying it for a week my cheeks, which are normally okay, started itching terribly and I noticed they had started to flake. My skin is very difficult, it's dry and oily, I have dry patches that flake and go red, huge pores and visible thread veins. I really hoped this would solve my problems but instead it's made my skin worse. I think maybe I just can't use any kind of "wash" and should go back to creams only. Like it's fine on the rest of my body, so use it where I am a little more sensitive, and mainly because I hate to waste it, but for my face it's a disaster.

Living in my skin

Although LaRochePosay bombard me weekly with all the things I cannot use… I suffer from contact dermatitis and following many years of searching discovered Cicaplast Lavant B5 and I only use this as body wash including face.

Love the wash but where has the pump gone?

I've been using this for over a year. But the last one I received did not have the pump, just a cap. I use this in the shower so a cap is really fiddly. Please restore the pump!

Has the formula changed

I love this product but the last couple of bottles I have used seem to have irritated my skin and the bottle gets empty quicker. Has something changed in the ingredients?

Best Everyday Face Cleanser - Large Pores

I was shocked by the results of using this product as a face cleanser. I have suffered from large pores, congestion, sebum build up, black heads since a teenager and I'm 38 years old now I never expected for this cleanser to have such a big impact and change in my skin appearance and texture. It's gentle yet so effective on cleaning properly . And at such an affordable price.

When my skin is dehydrated, red and irritated I like to use this face wash to relieve discomfort as my skin can’t handle any harsh surfactants when it’s dehydrated. This product it’s incredibly gentle yet effective. It cleanses well while not adding to the irritation and does soothe the skin as well. Highly recommended.

Soothing gel wash

I brought this gel foaming gel wash as I sometimes suffer with hives. I've found this gel helps to soothe my irritated skin. I also use it as a facial wash. I only need to use a couple of pumps as a little goes a long way. It's very gentle on my skin, gives a great refreshing clean whilst not stripping my skin. It has been helping to extract excess oil from my skin. A lovely gel wash that is suitable for children and babies. It does not have a strong scent at all.

Love this face wash

Been using this for months now and it's the perfect mix of gentle and foaming and hydrating! I have combination skin and suffer with hormonal breakouts, it's helped reduce those which is fantastic! It's the first face wash that my skin hasn't needed an adjustment period to, I love it!

So gentle and effective

After trying many face washes i'm so glad i cam across this because my skin is quite sensitive and prone to hormonal breakouts and this helps keep my skin calm whilst cleaning it. Its gentle enough to use twice daily and a little goes a long way!

Best cleanser

I am 71 and had acne for many years which progressed to rosacea in my latter years and after using this cleanser for 2 weeks the bumps on my face have vanished. My daughter recommended it as she had found it very helpful as a body wash, and now my husband and I both use the cleanser for the face and body. It is also not expensive like so many other products of which in my lifetime I have tried absolutely loads and usually to no effect!

My Go-to cleanser :)

Great product for my sensitive skin that leaves visible results in under a week. I like how mild yet effective this is for my acne-prone skin. Here are my results from using the La Roche B5 cleanser followed by Revolution Niacinamide and zinc serum after 6 days.I prefer to use the cleanser on dry skin and then leave it on for 1 min then I rinse it out with cold water. While my skin is still damp, I then add 3 drops of the serum to my face (1 drop on forehead and on either cheek). Would highly recommend.

My skin saviour

Cicaplast Lavant B5 is a wash I use literally from head to toe. I have an allergy to many things which are included in skin care ranges. It is complex and not understood by the manufacturing companies, who believe if it’s natural it’s okay. It is not okay. I cannot tolerate rose oil or geranium oil to name just two and I cannot tolerate any spices. Unfortunately there is a Turmeric tidal wave at the moment, it appears in many items to do with skin. So when I stumbled across Cicaplast Lavant B5 it was an absolute relief. My only fear is the ingredients list will suddenly change and I will have to search for something else.

Perfect gentle efficiency

I have used this as a face wash for years. So gentle, no eye sting, but face left baby soft and clean. Love it. Tried them all, including eye wateringly expensive. Most too chemically, greasy or keave my skin tight and dry. This one works.

Gentle Cleanser

The best around!

Have been using this about 6 months now its incredible. I have rosacea and really sensitive skin and struggle to find products that work this does. Not irritation, super soft skin and has actually reduced the redness from my rosacea Please dont stop making this!

An amazing cleanser

I have used this product for years as it is so mild and soothing. I recently saw a dermatology consultant who diagnosed the rash on my face as seborrhoeic dermatitis (like dandruff on the scalp). When I showed her the Roche Posay products I was using she said yes, they are really good and ideal for your skin, keep using them they will help your skin recover. That was an excellent recommendation from a dermatologist so I have great faith in all the Roche Posay products and wouldn't use anything else.

Improvement skin

My must have

I am buying this for years now. I am using it as a shampoo when my scalp is dry. I use it as a shaving foam, I never got red dots again after shaving or ingrown hairs! its a miracle product. I use it as a face wash too. Its just something I could not go without now. Worth every penny. No strong smell. Handy pump with lock option. Usually under 10 euros.
