Really impressed with this moisturiser

Replacing my old moisturiser with this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this product. I have replaced my old moisturiser with this . I noticed within a week the difference to my skin. I really wish I’d taken before and after pictures . I suffered quite badly with noticeable pours on my nose with some red and blocked on the end of it I was becoming quite self conscious about it . This moisturiser has really helped make these last noticeable. The product also has a really refreshing feel when applied to the face and drys quickly with non greasy feel after . I will continue to buy this product I’ve definitely swapped out my old moisturiser for this and won’t be going back !

Product feels lovely, sinks into skin. Pores are still visible currently after two weeks use, however with further use I hope they will reduce further.

Shine-free for hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried and tested quite a few oil control moisturisers and none have really worked well. But I have to say this did exactly what it said it would. It kept my face shine free for hours even in this heat! Its lightweight with a smooth texture, and is instantly matt on skin. Has a slight chemical smell but that goes after a few seconds. Its a overall good moisturiser for the summer not sure if it will be suitable for winter, but we'll see.

Visibly reduces oiliness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser does what it sets out to do - visibly reduces the oil on my face even throughout a long, hot day. I enjoy the feel of the product which is easy to glide onto the skin and is fast absorbing. It leaves a lovely texture on the skin and isn't sticky. The only negative to this product is that it is 30ml which seems too small for a moisturiser as using twice daily has meant it is finished in under three weeks.

For me it was not as good as it claims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product when reading about it. However, for me it didn't live up to its claims completely. Yes it provides some moisturisation, and it isn't as thick as other moisturizers, but it did still leave an oily look, and I saw no change in pore visibility. Also, in the sun when you would want to use a UV barrier, putting it on on top of this product kind of reduces the point of this one almost completely. So overall it was a bit of a miss for me, but I do like the idea of it, it's just a shame that, for me, it fell quite short.

Gorgeous flawless base for makeup

LIGHTWEIGHT, SMELLS AMAZING AND IT WORKS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with this as I haven't had the best of luck with "pore correctors" in the past, but this really works! It's so lightweight, smells really nice and doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores or anything. My make up looks flawless over the top of it and I feel so much more confident when I have this on underneath. It's also a really cute size so it can easily fit in my bag, would last ages as well as a little goes a long way! If you have big pores or oily-prone skin like me then I definitely recommend this! X

A lovely mattefiying moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisteriser is great as a last step in your skin care routine if you are looking for a matte finish and/or want to use it as a primer for makeup! I found it hydrating enough under make up and help my make up in place as a base. I think if. you have combination skin, you might want to use a hydrating serum underneath but overall it does what it says.

Nice gel moisturiser for oily skin

This was perfect for me, it's easy to apply and doesn't leave any shine or residue. It is meant to reduce pores, I didnt personally notice that yet but will keep using it as its early days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin has felt noticeably smoother and hydrated since using this product and my pores appear slightly smaller. I also noticed a less oily forhead. It hydrates without feeling sticky or greasy which makes it great as a moistriser as well as a base for makeup. You only need to use a small mouth as it blends well. It has an alcohol smell when you first apply the product but it does disappear once quickly when the product dries but this may be off putting to someone who is sensitive to smells.

Rich Moisturiser

Good but not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the gel texture of this moisturiser. It feels lightweight and non greasy . It even reduces the look of pores for sure and it’s not drying like other mattifying moisturisers. I had really high hopes for the oil fighting ingredient however I didn’t find much oil reduction, certainly not 24 hours of shine control like it claims. Maybe 8 hours max but that’s just my skin. I have had to accept that nothing controls my level of oil. But it is a really nice moisture overall. I would buy it again.

Worked well stopping oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself had a nice texture and left the skin feeling good it wasn't as spreadable as some products so did feel like I needed to use more than the usual products i use, but it worked really well at mattefying and did reduce the appearance of my pores. The product also went well under my makeup and did not effect it I feel like it improved the appearance of my makeup and I like the matte but hydrated look this is personal preference though.

Good for combination skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moisturiser is amazing! The texture is fantastic. Its clear, melts beautifully into the skin, and leaves a smooth, matte finish. Its an all in one product, so there's no need to use serums, toners, or other skincare products beforehand. It does a great job of controlling oil and makes my skin look and feel much less greasy throughout the day. My only wish is that it included SPF. If it did, It would be the best skincare product in the world!

Ideal for summer

Great make up base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using this la-Roche-posay oil and pore correct serum. This is one of my favourite brands and this particular product didn’t disappoint as usual. I love the texture of this serum, it dried into skin quickly, with just a slight tackiness which made a great base for my make up. The serum reduced the appearance of my oily nose and also seemed to fill in my large pores to make my make up go on seamlessly. For a serum it still made my face feel hydrated and moisturised which was great while still eliminating the shiny oiliness of my skin.

Great for oily skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser comes out looking very matte which I wasn’t used to but I found it spread on the skin very easily with its gel texture. It wasn’t sticky or uncomfortable at all, and left my face feeling hydrated and my pores looking slightly blurred and less visible in general which was nice. The texture is similar to some makeup primers I’ve tried so I knew this would work brilliantly under makeup too. As with all La Roche Posay products this smells so fantastic - clean and fresh and luxurious. Obviously if you don’t let fragrance in your skincare this would be one drawback.

Nice texture

Great product I didnt know existed

Pores disappear but made oily skin worse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oily skin and hoped this moisturiser would keep it under control while still hydrating my skin. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When first applied it irritated my skin and caused it to sting. It did settle after a while but was still unpleasant. It’s a lightweight product, does really well under makeup and didn't cause it to pill, huge bonus for an oil control moisturiser. It’s brilliant at refining my large pores, leaving skin looking smooth and having an airbrush effect. Honestly, I think this is the only saving grace for this product. The matte effect lasted around an hour before making my face shinier and more greasy than usual. I would not recommend if that is your main concern. I was really disappointed with it and expected more from this product.

A new favourite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone relatively new to the La Roche-Posay brand, I am completely won over with this product. I have a generally oily complexion, which happens to get worse at different times of the month, this coincidentally came when I was having an especially oily few days and its completely blown me away with how good it is. Ive bought products before that a targeted towards a more oily complexion and had zero luck with them. This product showed a noticeable difference after day 1! I no longer had that oily shine that comes with having an oily complexion. I received compliments on my skin by family members the first week I used it. It is super easy to use, smells amazing and really has worked a treat. Im definitely going to be buying more, and have already recommended to my sister.

Great and effective product!

A lightweight moisturiser

Perfect

It has a soft gel like texture, dries down quickly, and is super moisturising. The applicator is okay, but I can see it being difficult getting all of the product without cutting open the container. The product itself, however, is very good, so I will use every drop. Its improved my skin hydration a lot and I get compliments. People don't believe I look 31!

I done a wear test without and underneath makeup unfortunately the oils of my skin did end up coming through after a couple hours. Application is nice, the texture of the moisturiser if light weight and goes on smoothly. I didnt leave me skin matte but gave a nice hydrated look and feel. Amazing moisturiser

great upgrade for classic Effeclar

Good idea to change the packaging onto slim compact bottle. Good texture but strong fragrance

The texture of the product almost feels like a silicon primer. The one thing that shocked me was how strong the fragrance is, like wearing perfume on your face.

Hydration Without the Shine

Lightweight and luxurious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Love LOVE this product. It's everything i've been missing in my skincare routine. Best applied to a freshly washed face in the morning. The gel itself isn't thick or gloopy, more silky smooth. Easy to spread over the face and can feel it sinking in. Dries in nicely with no residue or stickyness. Perfect base for underneath foundation. After 3 or 4 days use I could clearly see a difference in my face, a lot lighter looking and smaller pores. I would however say, as it is quite hydrating, maybe apply every second day as I found by day 4 my skin was absorbing less of the product.

Okay at best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suppose the product may have reduced my pores on my nose slightly but actually encouraged a breakout so it gave with one hand and took with the other. It was fragrance free which was welcomed. But I won’t be using this product in future as it didn’t work for my skin

Super effective - great makeup base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser really does do what it says on the tin, it’s highly hydrating and mattifying, keeps oil at bay and definitely minimises the look of pores. I found it to be a great make up base as well so that was an added bonus! As with all La Roche Posay products, they knocked this out the park, I would definitely recommend to friends!

Lovely matte moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser is SO good for oily and combo skin. A little bit goes a long way and you only need a little bit for each section of your face. Its scent isn’t too much, i love the gel matte texture and the way this smooths my pores and face. I would highly recommend.

Hydrated skin

Moisturising

Hydrating and pre reducing

Great texture and it works!!

Lovely thick, smooth texture but goes on extremely light. Does remain a little sticky until completely dry but a little goes a long way!! Has helped my shine I get from excess oil even in this very hot heat we have been enjoying recently! I’ll be buying again for sure!!

A fab addition to my makeup bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this product I was really skeptical. How could it be moisturising but matte and also hide my pores? Now after using it I can confirm it is and it does! It’s amazing for use under makeup. It really helped conceal my oily t-zone without any irritation and helped minimise my pores and redness. I’m not a matte fan, but my glowy makeup glided on as normal - just without the forehead shine later on! It was so easy to apply and will now be a staple in my routine. Bonus points for zero pilling and a moisturised face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great, I suffer with extremely oily skin with and without makeup especially in the T zone and chin. Upon first impressions the product smells lovely, nothing harsh just a very delicate fresh and clean scent with a hint of lemon, the gel texture is great and feels hydrating and cooling but not too heavy, easy to apply and the mattifying is instant, and it lasts too! I also tried this as a base for makeup and was impressed, I felt hydrated yet my makeup sat well all night and didn’t need to touch up with setting powder to combat shine as I usually do, this is definitely my go to now!

Hydrating with a slightly matte finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the La Roche-Posay correction moisturiser and I must say I was somewhat impressed. A little of the product goes a long way, however an improvement that could be made would be a bigger sized version. The product itself is like a smooth gel, it smoothes into the face effortlessly, has no oily residue and I found it left my face feeling super soft, refreshed and hydrated for the whole day. I would note that it did not really have any effect on shrinking my pores / decreasing their visibility, however the product did keep my T-zone relatively oil free. Would I buy it again? Maybe. 1) If it was in a bigger more cost effective size. 2) If it was on offer, It’s a lot of money for what you actually recieve and cheaper brands i’ve tried do pretty much the same thing…

Worth a try

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I have combination skin with visible pores, I don't have any major issues with my skin apart from a few spots that I get only when I'm on my period. I've mostly used this product as a base for makeup. Fast absorbing, and delivers on its promises. Skin looks matt and feels soft. I wouldn't say it makes the pores look any different, but helps makeup sit on top of it easier. After using it for over 10 days it feels like my face looks more balanced in terms of shine. For a while I only applied the product on half of my face to be able to judge its effects better. Unfortunately that half of my face started getting spots after a few days. It's worth mentioning I often don't use skincare products for this exact reason. So this is common for my skin type and skincare products, but nevertheless worth noting if you have similar history. Overall feels nice and seems to work. My skin didn't love it but I do think it's worth a try, especially if you're targeting shining/oil.
