The eye cream isn’t being absorbed into my skin

It took about 10 days for the delivery, including the weekend. I decided to buy it because it was a B5 product and reasonably priced. However, it doesn’t absorb well into my skin and leaves a white cast. It doesn’t feel hydrating, and I’m not sure if it’s effective, but I’m continuing to use it for now.

I read the reviews about the eye cream not absorbing and decided to try it anyway. I can confirm, this eye cream doesn't blend. It clumps up and looks like you have crusty eyes. Not a good look.

Hyalu B5 eye serum - Not for me

I love most of LRP products however this one is a thumbs down for me. As an acne sufferer this unfortunately has left red raised spots underneath both eyes the day after applying. I can’t see anything throughout the ingredients that would cause this. Very confused. LRP can you please advise of any contraindications in the ingredients. Still battling these stubborn raised petechia like areas this has inflicted on my skin.

Dear La Roche-Posay,I have always been a loyal customer and truly appreciate the quality of your products, which have consistently met my expectations. Although I use a tiny amount of this product, after a few minutes I find that it clumps horribly, does not absorb. At first I thought it was because I was applying it over the B5 serum but, the same clumping and pilling resulted even when used on bare skin.

Doesn’t absorb

I’ve used this for a week now, and while only applying a little under each eye each time, it has never absorbed properly and then pills. I’ve been using the B5 eye serum and assumed this was okay as it’s part of the same range. Can’t put makeup on top of it. Very disappointing.

Not for all people

This dried out my sensitive skin my under eye started flaking. So i instantly stopped using it because it was giving me a bad reaction. I recommend if you are sensitive dont get this.

Great concealer, pricey for the size

Bought this after seeing the description citing good for usage as a concealer. I use it with my Toleriane Le teint moisturizer and my Anthios tinted sunscreen. It does help with concealing dark spots under my eyes. The product is very small for the price I have to admit

I get the light concealer in this formula. I don't like it, but I understand. I'm 36yo. I'm trying to prevent premature ageing. I used this product for 6 months, AM and PM. It's so insanely drying that it actually causes fine lines. I stopped 2 days ago when I realize my undereye skin had become thin and lost all elasticity. It does plump, don't get me wrong, for about 2 hours, and after that, my skin turns bone dry. I love your Anthelios sun screen, I really do, but this eye cream did the exact opposite than what was advertised.

Horrible

I've used many La Roche Posay products and have been happy with all my purchases...until now. There is no way to spread this thick cream. It just won't absorb properly under the delicate eye area and just seems to pill. The worst part is that I can't return it because I opened this more than 30 days after the purchase...

Won’t buy this again

Doesn’t seem to soften or plump. Wrinkles seem to appear more defined. I’m surprised because I love the Hyalu face serum so I thought I’d love this too. Too bad. So I’ve stopped using it at the point and gone back to another brand’s eye cream.

I enjoyed using this eye cream. I have been using it for 9 months. Not a large amount of cream must be warmed up between the fingers, and then applied to the skin of the eyelids, otherwise it is poorly applied. The cream perfectly moisturizes and nourishes the skin, removes the effect of tired eyes, smoothes the relief under the eyes, removes fine wrinkles, retouches creases in the corner of the eye.

Converted to eye creams

I can honestly say that I am converted after using this product. It sits beautifully under make up, absorbs quickly and has definitely softened the fine lines around my eyes. There was no residue and no piling of foundation or concealers. You only need a small amount, so the tube goes a long way. I used both morning and evening as part of my daily skincare routine, over toner and under my regular moisturiser and LRP sunscreen. I would definitely recommend. I used it for about two weeks then started to notice a visible difference. It hydrated the skin around my eyes and my skin appeared brighter.

Good cream for sensitive eyes but a bit thick

But it lost a star for me as its consistency is a bit thicker than I like, and requires more rubbing for my skin to absorb it. Not sure about the anti-ageing element yet but the skin around my eyes does feel moisturised all day long.

Smooths fine lines

I noticed a brightness under my eyes which really helped dark circles and smoothed fine lines. Upon first application, I found the cream a little dry and that it left a residue. Hydration in a tube!

It’s lightweight formula delivers a boost of hydration, my under eye feels nourished, smooth and plump, concealer looked better and lasted longer without creasing. Fabulous eye cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this cream for about a month now and while that hasn't been enough time to see any dramatic change in fine lines and wrinkles, it is a great eye cream in terms of moisture. I love that the cream is slightly thicker than most (it reminds me of the Kiehls avocado eye cream) as it really hydrates the skin around my eye. Despite the thicker consistency it does get absorbed fairly quickly and I am able to apply my makeup fairly soon afterwards. I will continue to use this eye cream as I am a great fan of all LRP products and I have come to expect nothing but good results from the brand.

Truly working moisturiser for the delicate eye contour!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, we cannot reverse completely the signs of ageing nor do we all have the most amazing lifestyle but the hyaluronic acid eye cream delivers on all fronts! The area around my eyes is firmer, plumper, I don’t look like I haven’t slept in 10 years and with daily use alongside other products from La Roche Posay I can see a difference and most importantly for a 41 year old not a single wrinkle yet. Plus the tiny bit of tint on the cream gives it a mattifying concealer effect which I personally find effective. Use daily and don’t expect overnight miracles but it does do exactly what it’s designed for!

It certainly feels as though it tightens the skin a little already and I can see a slight improvement in the loose skin around my eyelids. I will persevere and look forward to a more noticeable improvement with further use.

Lovely soft skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes the skin around my eyes lovely and soft with NO irritation. It is also easier to apply make up because it doesn't appear as dry and wrinkly. I am very impressed with it.

So moisturising!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago and I really like it. You only need a small amount as it is quite rich. It adds much more moisture then other eye creams I have used. I prefer to use it in the evening. My delicate eye area is smoother and much more moisturised.
