Completely weightless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very light gel textured moisturiser, at first it leaves your face glazed but dries very quickly delivering instant moisture without residue. I gave it a 4 as I didn’t find it to be long lasting as I have dry skin however it’s soothing and so gentle on the skin. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase as it definetely is worthy of its place on the skincare cabinet.

Hydrated face

There is no sticky or greasy residue left on your skin making your skin feel softer smoother and more hydrated throughout the day. Convert to gel hydration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't used a gel moisturizer before so I was concerned it would leave my face sticky, but it absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling moisturized and soft. I'm a convert! When I first opened the jar I wasn't sure how to remove one portion because of the jelly consistency, but one fingertip dipped in proved to be the perfect amount. It applied evenly and sat well under my makeup. Would recommend!

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product each evening after cleansing my skin. The product is thin in consistency but feels very refreshing when applied. It has a mild, gentle scent. My skin didn’t feel sticky or tacky after using the product and it didn’t cause me any irritation. My skin felt refreshed after using, but I didn’t notice a huge difference after using for a couple of weeks.. I’ll continue to use the product to see if I see more improvement over time.

Very hydrating

Lightweight & Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really easy and lightweight product that fits into my routine well but can also be used solo in a pinch. Feels nice to apply and hydrates just enough for a day time moisturiser, although may not be enough for those with dryer skin unless used alongside a heavier cream at night. Since I use a HA serum and a moisturising SPF as well, this worked really well for me and left my skin feeling great once it had dried.

Lovely, but not for very dry skin

Unscented, with a lightweight gel formula that reminds me of much more expensive formulation I've previously bought from K-beauty brands. Skin feels immediately plumper and looks hydrated. However, it's not necessarily my favourite as someone with very dry skin - I prefer something a little heavier. Would 100% recommend for people with oily/normal skin, or as a light moisturiser for the day / summer.

So lightweight and absorbent

CeraVe Hydrating HA Water Gel

Light, smooth and Hydrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with this product and it has been a great addition to my morning and evening face routine. The gel is a light and cool texture, easy to apply and practically scentless. Once applied it doesn't leave any sort of residue and I haven't found it to be irritant whatsoever. I'd say I have a combination type skin and so some areas of my face can be quite dry whereas others can be quite oily. This gel has helped to balance this out and has especially helped to hydrate dry areas post wash and cleanse. I definitely have nothing bad to say about this product at this point and I intend to keep it as a permanent addition, but I am intrigued to see the long term benefits to skin texture and health.

Very hydrating gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a gel, I found this moisturiser very hydrating while being nice and lightweight. It went on smoothly and my skin felt quenched. I couldn’t really get on with the gel consistency though, which is more a matter of preference- it seemed to sit on top of the skin rather than sink in, whereas a cream would absorb. I also found that it tingled my eye area slightly, so maybe not the best for sensitive skin.

Lightweight and hydrating

Cooling gel moisturiser

Cooling, soothing and super hydrating!

It glides on beautifully and absorbs quickly without leaving any stickiness behind. My skin felt really moisturised, soft and comfortable afterwards, not heavy or greasy at all. Very light gel cream

Lightweight but hydrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, gel based moisturisers are the best and this one is no different. The texture is extremely lightweight, which for me means that it’s suitable for the warmer months as it dries down very quickly and leaves no sticky residue, but also for the colder months when skin can flake/become more chapped, it’s easy to apply over and glides without irritation. I have normal/combination skin so I can’t speak for someone with dry skin, but the moisture it gives to my skin is perfect. I appreciate how quickly it dries and the soft feel it leaves. I especially like using it after I’ve used an active (like my retinol or azelaic acid). My only criticism really is that I do wish the container was bigger so you got more product.

Feels hydrating to start with

However, I tried replacing my current serum with this and my skin died out over night. Easy to use, hydrating and cooling

The product itself was nice to the touch and feel and was very soothing on the skin. It did not feel greasy or oily and the skin felt visbly fresher and happier afterwards I just used the product by itself and so it felt like relatively little work to apply in the morning evening as I am not a fan of big skin rituals. I missed on evening but felt my skin was still visibly fresher and more mosturised. All in all really liked the product. I am not sure I would pay a really large amount for it (all is relative) but certainly will consider as my main mosituriser

Cerave water gel

A little goes a long way

My skin doesn’t feel overly nourished but it is moisturiser without the residue and as an oily girl, that’s all I can ask for! I did notice some of my skincare did pill so I need to be mindful of what serums I use with this however it layers well under makeup and keeps the shine at bay for a good few hours. Love the scent and texture.

Good moisturiser

It has slight of a cooling effect so I think it would be great to use during summer or when skin feels a little irritated. It gives my skin enough hydration at the moment - not sure if it would be enough during winter though. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy, making it perfect for under make-up or spf. For me it was also great near eye area - it didn't irritate my sensitive skin and leaves it nicely hydrated. It is definitely a good option to buy if you're up for lightweight moisturisers.

Daily moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried CeraVe Hydrating HA Water Gel on my face for 10 days and liked how it felt. The texture is a light water gel that absorbs almost instantly, leaving no greasy film. My skin felt noticeably smoother and a bit plumper within days, and the hydration lasted through the day. The formula’s hyaluronic acid and niacinamide seemed to help retain moisture. It’s blue and has a neutral scent. Overall, it's a reliable daily hydrator that’s worth trying if you want a non-greasy moisturiser.

Very hydrating

Too watery for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is a little too watery and when I put it on my hands sometimes it falls and slips onto the floor. Even though it is a water based gel I found it not as light as it was claimed and a bit greasy. Elsewhere, my face does indeed feel hydrated after use.

Moisturising

Simple, Soothing & Hydrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the CeraVe Gel, as it came in a nicely-sized compact tub which fits perfectly on my bathroom shelf alongside my other skincare products. The gel itself is really easy to apply, and it feels lovely and cool on the skin after a warm shower. I found it very soothing and refreshing and it left my skin feeling nicely hydrated without feeling heavy.

Lightweight water gel

Cerave Hydrating HA Water Gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product definitely took me out of the products I am accustomed to using but I saw value in that I could incorporate it into my skincare routine as so I was keen to trial this! On the unique selling point of being able to ensure 72 hour hydration upon application, my scepticism was warranted as whilst I felt this may have been overselling it, the lightweight element coupled with the non greasy formulation is something I believe those whose skin favours the greasy side might appreciate, it was something Cerave accomplished in this product. Aptly put the formula felt weightless! Did my skin look 'smoother within 3 seconds', probably not but as hoped it did initially improve the appearance of the skin texture, as if the element of vitality that may have been stripped away in the cleansing process had been RESTORED, which essentially is what one hopes for. The formulation itself was very smooth and pleasurable to use. That I can say. The added values described are a bonus. A 4 star!

CeraVe hydrating gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hoping to really like this as wanted something that was lightweight but very hydrating but didn't quite get the hydration pop I was looking for. It's a small tub but a little will last a very long time, its a clear scentless thin gel that applies quickly and sinks into the skin well, however that's really where the pros stop for this product. I would say it would be fine for those with already well hydrated or oily skin, however for those of us with dry skin it just doesn't deliver enough moisture unfortunately. It was nice but I wouldn't purchase this again unless my skin type changed to become more normal/oily.
