Why change perfection?

Hugely disappointed at the formula change. I would have paid double the price for the old one but I will not purchase this new one again and tempted to chuck it despite it being 400ml. Greasy, sits on skin taking ages to sink in and most importantly doesn’t help my psoriasis like the old one did. They’ve taken a moisturiser that sinks in immediately and heals skin, to change it for a greasy irritating one.

So disappointed

This new formula is rubbish. The old one essentially completely cured my eczema. It’s been fantastic for the last few years. This new formula just isn’t working and my eczema has come back over the last few days. It has taken me years and years to find something that works for me and it’s been worth it up til now to pay more than an average moisturiser as my skin has been beautiful. This balm is really difficult to get out of the pump tube I have to open it to squeeze it out and it leaves me skin feeling a bit greasy but does not improve my skin barrier like the old formula did I’m actually devastated that I’m going to have to start from square one again. Why change something that was perfect?

Not for under makeup - but otherwise, decent.

Honestly I don't think it't as bad as people say it is. I can't speak for the old formula, but this didn't irritate my sensitve skin AT ALL. I would say its a good mix of hydrating but occlusive. The only downside is that it can pill on skin, especially if you overapply it.

Horrible new formula

Horrible new formula why would you change something that was working the old one was great healed my skin and was the only reliable cream I would buy loads off and stock up on now I’ve got nothing to use on my eczema why change a great formula bring back the old one you’ve let a lot of customers down with this

Never buying cream again

I bought this cream for my son who suffers from severe eczema and itchiness.. after a day of using it both my children started to get an allergic reaction from it. Both of them had some red dots all over their skin. I will no longer use cream on my children and never buy it again. They are both recovering but im so disappointed as i bought it as a result of various testimonies I saw about it online

contenant mal adapté au produit

Le produit est très bon mais il est bien épais et c'est très difficile de le sortir du contenant 400ml qui fonctionne avec une pompe

Awful new formula

Why would you change the old formula that worked well for so many people people? I relied on the old product which was amazing for eczema prone skin. So disappointed and will not be buying again it’s awful

Disappointed With The New Formula

I’m really disappointed with the change from La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M to the new AP+Max version. The old AP+M worked so well for my skin. It actually helped repair my skin barrier, reduced dryness and kept my eczema under control. It absorbed properly and felt nourishing without being greasy, which made it easy to use every day. This new AP+Max one just isn’t the same. It doesn’t seem to repair my skin at all and doesn’t help with flare-ups like the old one did. My skin doesn’t feel any better using it. Even though it’s lighter, it somehow feels more greasy on my skin. It kind of sits on top and leaves an oily layer instead of absorbing properly, which makes it uncomfortable to wear. Overall it just feels like a downgrade. The AP+M actually worked and improved my skin, whereas this one doesn’t do much at all. Really unhappy with the change and wish they hadn’t replaced the original.

Parents beware!

This cream works fine but beware it may stings when put over very dry, eczema or irritated spots. I assumed since it says suitable for babies that the cream would not hurt, but it made my one year old cry in pain most of times i tried it… will be switching back to aquaphor which does not hurt.

Total relief for itchy skin

This product is one of the best body lotions I have ever used. I always get dry skin in our Canadian winters and this product moisturizes and keep my skin from getting itchy. I am prone to eczema so always looking for products that work for sensitive skin. This product does the trick. Well worth using!

Game changing cream

8 years ago I had a double mastectomy and on one side I had radiotherapy. Ever since I’ve had very very very itchy skin and waves of blisters. Mix that with a latex allergy (latex is in a lot of underwear), it’s safe to say it’s driven me mad. I’ve tried a lot of creams. Recently I bought this. And it’s a game changer. It’s still early days. But for the time in 8 years, my skin has been calm for a week now. The itching has dissipated by like 90% I’d say. I’m so chuffed.

Brilliant for antifungal issues like ringworm

My child has suffered with a bout of Ringworm lately from rugby in his hair and this is the only cream i have found to clear it up! you can see the redness disappear within 2-3 days its amazing!!! Better than any over the counter creams by far!

Soothes my irritated skin

I am really enjoying using this Lipikar AP +M cream. The skin on my shoulders and tops of my legs can become irritable. This cream has such a lovely soothing effect on it and helps to stop that itchy feeling. It coats my skin in a silky layer thar gives my skin a nice glow to it. Very disappointed as a first time user!

I bought this Lipikar Baum AP+M, I just got it delivered today literary and this is what I see...the packaging of the product looks different, the colour and design on the outside of the pack is different which okay as it is still the same product as ut says in the description However, the cap of the baum seems like its not its original cap! It doesn't even look the same as it shows in the pictures! This is very shocking and disappointing! It seems like this product was used by someone before and it was returned with the cap broken and now they attached cap somehow to resell it!! Seriously they shouldn't do this! I'm returning this, I'm not using a product thats damaged! I don't want to ruin my skin even more! who knows what kind of bacteria was spread in there! Not taking the risk!

My skin is so soft

I bought this to try as I often get dry legs which get flakey with the lack of moisture. This is such a great cream, it’s consistency is not too thick and easily absorbs into the skin. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated all day ! I would definitely buy the full size now especially as great for sensitive skin and my children suffer from Eczema and it’s had great reviews for this too !

Best Product

I always use this every time I get out the shower, it leaves my skin feeling and looking well moisturised. I suffer with keratosis pilaris and this has helped me so much to reduce the dry bumps I have. I also use this on my face during the winter as I get very dry skin and this is perfect for that too!!
