Excellent - but let strong perfume off-gas first

Alarmingly strong perfume that overwhelmed the entire room with a deodorizer smell - the first time I bought this I banished it to the garage and forgot about it. However, once the product off-gasses for a few days, the smell vanishes. The soap is excellent and I now buy it regularly (but cannot use it straight out of the box). It is very gentle and helps prevent itchy skin.

Alternative de voyage à l'huile nettoyante

J'ai acheté ce savon pour en voyage au lieu d'apporter l'huile nettoyante. J'aime beaucoup le savon! Je ne trouve pas l'odeur trop forte. Il ne laisse pas autant la peau hydratée que l'huile nettoyante, mais beaucoup plus qu'un savon ordinaire. J'ai la peau sensible et je n'ai pas réagit. Le savon est dur et sèche bien, ce qui le rend durable longtemps. Très pratique en voyage!

Beware of strong perfume

Perfume is very strong. I missed that detail in the list of ingredients because perfume is usually listed last but for this product, it is not, so there is quite a lot of it. Unfortunately I am allergic to perfume and that's why I use La Roche-Posay products. Please make a soap bar without perfume for those who like the Toleriane line.

Great for dry, flaky skin.

Pros: - takes care of itchy, flaky skin in the winter - very light, subtle scent Cons: - VERY EXPENSIVE - doesn't last very long for the price I use this in the winter months for my very dry, itchy legs. I would use it year round if it more affordable.

Not a great experience so far.

Bought this today...surprised at the high perfume smell from it. Time will tell how it will work on my skin, or not. Just the box near me is more than I can tolerate. In all fairness to the product I am oversensitive, but this is the first time I have experienced this from a La Roche-Posay product and I use various LaRoche Posay products daily.

Great for sensitive hands

I use this soap in my washroom for everyday hand washing . My hands are super sensitive and react to regular soaps. I wash my hands many , many times during the day and the soap lasts longer .

J'adore ce pain de savon

Moisturizing but tacky feeling.

I bought this because I have very dry skin, especially in the winter. It does feel nice and moisturizing when using in the shower, but after drying off my skin feels tacky.

My face feels amazing.

I am a 42 year old man that looks 25. After my previous face cleanser changed their formula I could not find anything that made me feel nourished yet fully cleansed with out tightening drying damage. This bar soap has changed everything. My skin feels absolutely amazing. I even shave with it. I am loving the way my skin and face feels. Shout out to LA ROCHE-POSAY ! So sad! :(

I was so excited to try it considering all the good reviews. Clinique bar of soap isn't available anymore everyone loves it. So I figured let's try this! This made me break out, the blue peel, moisturizer, ance spot treatment broke me out too. It just spreads and makes it worse. I'm so sad. Red, sore, white head, pimples, everywhere. I had very high expectations for this as I've used this brand before from cleansers, etc.

I have been using this soap as recommended by a dermatologist for my rosacea prone skin for many years. Now a staple item I can't do without..even camping! It's been great to lather in the shower, very mild pleasant scent and I can even use this over light cuts/burns without any stinging. Leaves sensitive skin feeling cleansed and lightly moisturized. Becoming harder to find stock in my usual pharmacy.

LOVE LOVE this cleaning bar

I've been looking for a bar soap to replace the sensitive facial soaps (well-known brands starting with a "C") that are sold in drugstores. I want to get away from using soaps in plastic containers. This one hits the mark. It isn't drying and is perfect for my sensitive skin. It's is better than any other facial bar soap I've tried, and better than the sensitive facial soaps sold in plastic bottles.

Recently bought due to post procedure skin after incorporating tretinoin cream into my evening skincare regime and was experiencing tenderness that the peeling effect can have. My usual cleansing bar, which I've I used for a long time, was making my skin feel tight and dry! This bar is beautiful, so creamy and foams really well. The smell was soft and clean. It is also soap free! Skin felt nourished and replenished! Just for the record, I double cleansed and it wasn't bad at removing makeup too! It really made a difference. The price, in comparison to other beauty bars is excellent. Will be purchasing this from now on. Love it! I will be trying the body lotion next.......
