I am almost 70 and trying this serum in combination with MELA B3 Anti-Aging Serum for Dark Spots Powered by Melasyl™ to reduce dark spots and improve uneven skin tone. Together, these products have made a noticeable difference in overall lightening and tightening my skin. My face also feels smoother and softer. I still have dark spots (and lots of wrinkles), but the patchiness is less visible. Amazingly good

I did not expect much from a cleanser. I thought, it's not in contact with your skin for very long, so how much could it really do? Well, I was quite shocked after using it for a few weeks. My skin had a lot of damage from the sun, and was quite redish/brown, but now it's obviously lightened a few shades. This is now essential for me.

Acne sufferers use as treatment and not for daily!

Okay cystic acne girlies let me warn you in advance, this is NOT a product you need to use morning and night! Use it every 2nd or 3rd day.. For the first 2 weeks I wouldn’t use it more than twice MAX. The reason for this is it will push your acne (that was already there) to the surface. It can feel like this product is “Breaking you out” but it isn’t. You need to trust the process. It’s taken me ages to understand that some of La Roche products are treatment use and not daily use. My skins responds great to this product when I know im in a particular day in my cycle and that a breakout is coming so I’ll start using it every 2nd morning. The daily face wash I use is the M+ one! I also use the Effaclar serum if breakouts are coming, but I use it at night and not directly after using the Mela B3 face wash as both products can be intense treatments but both super effective! Another tip is use their sunscreen! It can be a bit much for your poor skin if using these products and then being in direct sun, especially if you live in Australia!

As much as I love the Laroche products, this cleanser has been a complete disaster for me, I barely managed to get my skin from a very bad place to smooth and acne free, but was struggling with post acne spots so thought of trying this cleanser, I have just used it for like a week and my skin is all bumpy and dry… I have been looking to get some help cuz I don’t wanna go back to how my skin was last year …

Excellent Cleanser

I usually use the effaclar micropeeling gel cleanser for my combination menopausal skin, which I still love and will continue to use intermittently, but I have to say this new Mela B cleanser has made the biggest difference to the dark sun spots on my face in 2 weeks, compared to anything else I’ve ever used before. Absolutely love it! Please make another bigger size. Btw, when searching for cleansers, this doesn’t come up on your list to buy, making it more difficult to find.

It does work, my dark spots have faded and it helped clear up the redness from my peri menopause. It does dry out my skin a tad, but it’s nothing that moisturizer can’t fix. I’m on my second bottle and it’s definitely work the money. Washing my face morning and night it lasted about 3 months.

Amazing product

Started using this about a month ago and can see noticeable changes in my skin. It looks more even-toned, clearer and brighter. My skin was once very dull with dark spots and as a tanned person, dark spots were difficult to manage. Very happy with the results and will definitely be repurchasing this. I only wish it came in a larger size!

Feels so nice - need travel size!

My normal face wash was discontinued, so I happened to just pick this one up on a whim. I am so glad I did! It leaves my face feeling so smooth, but not overly stripped like a lot of face washes do. I can't speak for dark spot reduction as that isn't a concern I have, but I am really impressed with the gentle micro-peeling this product offers. I need a travel size one of this to be released now / sold as an extra-mini with other purchases! I dont want to travel without it now, but I also dont want to pack around the big bottle.

I've been using this Mela B3 micro peeling gel wash for over 2 months. I brought it as I have oily blemish prone skin and this gel cleanser is formulated for my skin type. It contains niacinamide, melasyl and hydroxy acid. Together they help to cleanse, exfoliate and purify skin. It also helps to strengthen the skins barrier. I have noticed that my skin is looking clearer, brighter and fresher since using this cleanser. It does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry after use. It's very gentle on my skin, no stinging or irritations. This Mela B3 micro peeling gel wash is suitable for sensitive skin and is dermatologically tested. Key ingredient incude: Niacinamide Melasyl polyhydroxy acid The only downside for me is that it contains fragrance.

Beautifully formulated gel to tackle pigmentation.very fresh, a little goes a long way. It leaves skin feeling soft and not tight or dehydrated. La Roche Posay is one of my favourite brands in terms of skincare. As I super from hyperpigmentation, I am always in the look for products that can help me fade away the dark spots that I have on my forehead. Ths cleanser is great for anyone who has an uneven skin tone. The cleanser is mildly exfoliating, so it leaves my skin feeling freah and clean. But it is gentle on the skin and suitable for daily use. I had been using the Mela B3 serum for a few weeks and was noticing, a lot of improvement in my hypigmentation but combining the serum with the use of this cleanser has really made a huge difference. I have some areas of hyperpigmentation and dark spots that are extremely stubborn but I am seeing that these are looking lighter too. So I'm very happy with the results and will continue to use this cleanser in conjunction with the Mela B3 serum.

Brilliant ingredients in a cleanser!

This cleanser is powered by multi-patented Melasyl™ & Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of imperfections and leave skin looking brighter & more radiant. When applied to wet skin the gel foams gently into a creamy soft wash that cleanses my skin leaving it feeling fresh and clean, removing make up residue and excess oils without a tight or dehydrated feeling. The light sweet smell is the same as the B3 serum, (which I’m also using) and is devine! Both the cleanser and the serum contain my hero product niacinamide, this ingredient works very well on my skin (which can be reactive prone) to lighten dark marks and even skin tone. Absolute Game Changer

Mela B3 is without doubt the best cleanser I have ever used! I have psoriasis plus super sensitive sun damaged skin, was a little apprehensive when using the first couple of times, but my skin was not irritated at all. My face felt super clean and incredibly nourished. It’s a delight to use and has a lovely fragrance, my next purchase will definitely be the Serum!

Mela B3 Clarifying gel cleanser wonderful

Mela B3 ClarifyingMicro-peeling gel cleanser 200ml pump to produce brighter and more radiant skin. Smells sweet- pump to dispense. I applied it wet skin on face and neck as directed. I massaged it in gently and then rinsed to remove and dried . This product exfoliates gently and works fantastically well on my sensitive skin. I've been using my cleanser in conjunction with my Mela B3 serum and it's a great combination. I found my skin really improved ,less blemishes and areas of hyperpigmentation. #larocheposay #ad

Great cleanser

This cleanser is a great addition to my skincare routine. I have been using the Mela B serum so was thrilled to be sent this to try from the La Roche Posay community, as I’d seen such great results from the serum. The cleanser is a gel consistency and has a subtle fragrance. It isn’t sticky and lathers well. It effectively removes my makeup without stripping my skin or leaving it feeling tight. It has micro exfoliating properties which really work to remove dead skin and leave you with a glowy fresh surface. The noticeable difference in my sun spots and pigmentation is clear to see after using this for the last few weeks. It had a reduced my dark spots and helped to even out my skin tone. It has some great active ingredients and whilst it multi tasks and works to tackle stubborn issues, what’s really great is that it is suitable for sensitive skin, non comedogenic & is dermatologically tested. I absolutely love the Mela B range.

I’ve been using it for few weeks now and found that it works well with my skin, I am very pleased with a fact that it doesn’t leave my skin tight like most cleansing products. Skin is clean and looking very fresh. Only problem is that it does irritate my eyes.

Great cleanse. Face tone is more even. It’s non comedogenic so doesn't block my pores. Contains Niacinamide which is a super ingredient helps improve my skin texture. My skin is brighter and spots and blemishes less prominent. Easy to use so far I’m very happy with the results.

Such effective and gentle cleanser

I had hyperpigmentation most of my life, mainly due to post-acne marks and sun damage during my teen age. I recently tried Mela B3 cleanser in combination with Mela B3 serum and high SPF. This daily skincare routine managed to lighten the dark spots and hyperpigmentation appearance over the course of 3 weeks since I started using it. It is a really effective cleanser, which gently exfoliate and purify my skin. My skin tone looks fresh, brighter, more even and radiant.

I received this product complimentary from La Roche-Posay as being a member of the community. I've been using the La Roche-Posay - Mela B3 Cleanser for Dark Spots for a month now and I can see difference in the appearance of my skin . I have dark spots on my forehead due to sun damage and this cleanser has helped to reduce the appearance and my skin tone appears more even. The texture is gel like and I need one pump for my whole face as it lathers very well. It has a very pleasant light scent . This gel cleanser is very gentle and my skin feels soft and comfortable after every wash . I use this cleanser every morning and evening and I'm very happy with the results so far . Fabulous cleanser

I was sent the Mela B3 cleanser from the wonderful La Roche Posay community in exchange for my honest review. I have been using the Mela B3 serum for a while now and have noticed a real difference in my dark spots and the evenness of my skin tone so I was very keen to add this extra product into my skincare routine. I must say that I am really impressed with it. It is a gel micro-peeling cleanser which sounds like it may be a bit harsh on your skin but is actually the opposite of this. I’ve found that it cleanses my skin so gently and leaves it feeling really soft, smooth and hydrated with no tightness at all. You only need to use a small amount too as it lathers up really well which means that the bottle should last a very long time making it great value for money. I particularly like that it is aimed at reducing dark spots as this is one of the issues that I have with my skin and so far I can definitely see an improvement in this area so I am very excited to see further improvements in the future with continued use of the cleanser. Overall, I am really impressed with this product and will definitely continue using it. I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic cleanser for uneven skin

I have been trying this cleanser for the last four weeks and it has done a fantastic job on my skin. The dark spots and hyperpigmentation have visible reduced and my skin is left feeling hydrated and smooth. It has a very light scent and doesn't irritate my skin. Brilliant product

The La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Clarifying Cleanser is a brilliant product. It cleanses your skin and at the same time gently exfoliates too. The cleanser is aimed at reducing dark spots and helps to stimulate the renewal of new skin cells. I have been using this for a few weeks now and I can definitely see a difference. My skin looks brighter and more radiant and my dark spots have definitely got lighter. Very happy with the results and will continue to use especially in the summer months when my hyperpigmentation is at its worst.

Amazing

I received it as a member of the LRP community and love it as it gently cleanses and is suitable for sensitive skin. It is perfect for those with dark spots.The formula is hydrating, so my skin doesn't feel dry.

Mela B3 Clarifying Cleanser Review

I received these product from La Roche-Posay as being a member of the community. They sent me this 200ml micro-peeling gel cleanser that cleanses skin with very gently micro-exfoliating ingredients whilst targeting dark spots. Key ingredients: 🧪 ✅ PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid) - very gentle exfoliating acid to boost skin’s surface cell renewal ✅ New Melasyl™ Active & Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - reduces the appearance of imperfections & leaves skin looking clean & clear How to use: 👀 Apply morning and evening to wet skin on face, neck & decollete the gently massage in circular motions. Rinse and dry gently. Final thoughts: 💭 I’m so happy to be selected to try and use this cleanser as it matches my Mela B3 serum which completes my hyperpigmentation routine! I am currently struggling with my post-acne marks & dark spots so this product is perfect for me! It smells lovely & I love the fact that it’s suitable for sensitive skin like me! I will continue using this cleanser to achieve the full effect on my face! So far I noticed a slight improvement and difference on my spots but I’ll keep you posted on the final results!

Delicate

I'm surprised how delicate this cleansing gel is. My skin tends to get sensitive but this product is very gentle but also effective. It does help with pigmentation but you have to be consistent to see the results.

Excellent

Extremely happy with the results. Gently cleanses and washes deeply, leaving the face radiant, fresh and illuminated. Perfectly cleans the skin of the face, visibly looking more hydrated, renewed and healthy, shiny and beautiful. I highly recommend it.

My skin looks clearer since using

I was lucky to be sent this cleanser from the La Roche Posay skin community. I have dry skin but occasionally get breakouts along my chin area. I also have Asian skin which means pigmentation. Therefore this cleanser has been a fantastic addition to my daily skincare routine. I love the bottle colour and the scent is beautiful when applying. It comes in a pump bottle making it super easy to dispense. It quickly turns from a liquid gel consistency before even adding water. It is gentle, yet effectively cleanses the skin and removes all traces of make up. This cleanser does not dry out my skin at all. It actually feels so soft and hydrated after. It has some key ingredients which help with any inflammation and reduces redness. I have found this has helped with my chin area drastically. As it gently exfoliates my skin I can feel my skin feeling so soft. Having used this cleanser for a few weeks now I can see a change in hyperpigmentation and dark spots are fading. My skin now looks more toned and clearer than before. Overall a great cleanser.

Lovely cleanser

I was lucky enough to be selected to test this new Mela B3 cleanser as a member of LRP SKIN community and very happy for it. The cleanser is coming in a 200 ml plastic bottle with pump very easy to use and hygienic. The cleanser have active ingredients as Melasyl active and niacinamide which leave the skin healty and brighten, and Polyhydroxy which helps for a gentle exfoliation and leave the skin looking clean and clear. This cleanser is helping my skin to look more smooth, bright, glowy and offers to my skin a nice and gentle exfoliation. I am using a small amount of cleanser my gentle masaging into my wet skin and I rinse with warm water. My skin is feeling very clean soft and healty.

Wow!!!

This cleansing gel is the best cleanser I have ever used! Within a few days of using it I noticed a reduction in the appearance of my imperfections including my acne. My skin is looking so much healthier and more radiant. This product really does help with dark spots and I’m so happy that I have found something that helps my skin. The formula has lots of great ingredients, is hydrating and doesn’t strip the skin so I feel like it’s great value for money, especially because it’s a 200ml container. The bottle has a pump dispenser that is easy to use and gives just the right amount of product so there is no waste. I would 100% recommend trying this!

Mela B3 Cleanser

I was #Gifted this Mela B3 Cleanser Clarify for Uneven Skin by the La Roche-Posey Community I've been testing it for the last couple of weeks and since using it my skin is looking radiant you only have to use a little as it faoms up once you add water to it, it cleansers and exfoliates your skin lits got niacinamide in it to reduce the appearance of imperfections and leaves skin looking brighter and more radiant.

I love it

I wanted something that help me with my oily skin and I found this cleanser. This product is just amazing, my skin or my t zone is not oily anymore, my skin feels so soft and smooth. It doesn’t have a strong smell which I love it and I use it everyday during the morning and night and I haven’t have any problem. I always get the big size and it last more than 6 months. I love love love this product

Radiant skin

I received this clarifying cleanser from La Roche-Posay Skin Community free of charge in exchange for my honest review. The product comes in a purple bottle with a white pump on top. It delivers a perfect dose, one pump is enough to wash my face. This cleanser in the form of a gel has a pale yellowish colour. It also has a delicate scent which reminds me of baby care products. It foams up nicely when applied and it feels gentle on my skin. Plus it doesn't irritate my eyes. This cleanser leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I did notice some positive changes, as my skin tone seemed to become more even. My skin doesn't look so tired anymore, more radiant and healthier looking. I would happily recommend it to my friends and family.

It is gentle, hydrating, hypoallergenic, alcohol-free, and suitable for sensitive skin. I’ve been using this cleanser for about a week now and I’m loving it so far.
