The texture is soft and thin, so the application is pretty fast and the absorbency is great. I think to see the result that one wants, they will need to maintain the daily application instruction. However, it is a little strong for my sensitive skin. To prevent skin irritation, I have applied it every other day or take break in between.

Causes flaking

I really like the smoothness of the product texture. Unfortunately by process of elimination, this flaked terribly on my skin. My face looked as though I had face dandruff! I tried numerous ways of when I applied to my face in combination with my other LRP products. It didn’t matter when I layered it, it flaked.. Flaked even in my eyebrows. So gross. After all the different attempts it dawned on me to stop using this product, And no more flaking with the rest my LRP skin care regimen. I didn’t see much results anyhow, so it’s no great loss for me. Nothing seems to work for the spots on my face.

Didn’t see much difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that this product would help prevent hyperpigmentation from acne. I do see some progress with older spots fading, but i continued to see new dark marks. There also wasn’t much difference in the darker skin by my ear. I do appreciate that the product had a light, clean smell. It was quick absorbing and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. But overall I may not have been the best audience for the product.

Great for sunspots!

This serum has helped fade any existing spots and has kept my face looking clear and youthful! I love how hydrating and smooth this serum makes me skin feel. And it smells fantastic!! Decent serum

Lightweight and works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it comes in a pump bottle, which feels more hygienic and convenient. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. After finishing the entire bottle, I can confidently say that this product works. It helped fade my recent brown sunspots and acne scars quite noticeably. However, my melasma patches are still there, although they do look a little lighter. I would definitely get another bottle and continue using it to see if it can make a bigger difference with my melasma. The price point is also very reasonable compared to other melasma treatments I've tried.

Nice Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seems like a good product, especially if you are someone who really struggles with dark spots. It is easy to dispense and easy to apply. It’s lightweight and absorbs easily. I had zero irritation using this product. My skin felt and looked nicer after, more even. I don’t struggle with a lot of dark spots which is where I would expect to see the biggest difference. I would recommend trying this product if you do though.

Feels nice but does it work?

The scent is nice and light and it absorbs pretty quickly. I have sensitive skin and have never had any irritation from this. It also doesn’t pill under makeup. But I haven’t noticed any big difference in my many brown spots so far.

Hopeful for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this product, especially since my younger self did not use sun screen enough. The packaging is super cute and the applicator works great. I like the consistency of the product, as it soaks in well. It does have a pretty strong floral type scent which is a bit off putting for me. I was able to use it without getting dry areas like other spot treatments tend to give me which was nice. But overall, I did not notice an improvement in my skin. Maybe with prolonged use I will see a difference. But I will definitely keep using up what I have to see if the results improve.

Gentle and Brighter Skin Tone

I had a problem with the smell

I think it may be a cucumber smell and not sure why I had such an issue with it but I hated using it cause of that smell. Replacing my old moisturiser with this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this product. I have replaced my old moisturiser with this . I noticed within a week the difference to my skin. I really wish I’d taken before and after pictures . I suffered quite badly with noticeable pours on my nose with some red and blocked on the end of it I was becoming quite self conscious about it . Shine-free for hours

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried and tested quite a few oil control moisturisers and none have really worked well. But I have to say this did exactly what it said it would. It kept my face shine free for hours even in this heat! Its lightweight with a smooth texture, and is instantly matt on skin. Has a slight chemical smell but that goes after a few seconds. Its a overall good moisturiser for the summer not sure if it will be suitable for winter, but we'll see.

Visibly reduces oiliness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser does what it sets out to do - visibly reduces the oil on my face even throughout a long, hot day. I enjoy the feel of the product which is easy to glide onto the skin and is fast absorbing. It leaves a lovely texture on the skin and isn't sticky. The only negative to this product is that it is 30ml which seems too small for a moisturiser as using twice daily has meant it is finished in under three weeks.

For me it was not as good as it claims

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product when reading about it. However, for me it didn't live up to its claims completely. Yes it provides some moisturisation, and it isn't as thick as other moisturizers, but it did still leave an oily look, and I saw no change in pore visibility. Also, in the sun when you would want to use a UV barrier, putting it on on top of this product kind of reduces the point of this one almost completely. So overall it was a bit of a miss for me, but I do like the idea of it, it's just a shame that, for me, it fell quite short.

LIGHTWEIGHT, SMELLS AMAZING AND IT WORKS

It's so lightweight, smells really nice and doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores or anything. Visible Dark spot reduction

A lovely mattefiying moisturiser

I found it hydrating enough under make up and help my make up in place as a base. Concentrated power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mela B3 Double Dose intense treatment is a nice addition to your skin care routine. I personally didn’t see a great change, perhaps because the summer sun has been overpowering my sunscreen protection while using the treatment, but it’s still nice to take care of your skin every time you can. The little bottle is convenient and it dispenses the right amount of treatment for your morning and night application. The smell is ok, it could have been more neutral because I don’t want to be reminded that I’m wearing the product all the time. Other than no big change to my skin I noticed that when the product is to close to my eyes it bothers me a little bit and it makes my eyes feel a little “tired”.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin has felt noticeably smoother and hydrated since using this product and my pores appear slightly smaller. I also noticed a less oily forhead. It hydrates without feeling sticky or greasy which makes it great as a moistriser as well as a base for makeup. You only need to use a small mouth as it blends well. It has an alcohol smell when you first apply the product but it does disappear once quickly when the product dries but this may be off putting to someone who is sensitive to smells.

Rich Moisturiser

Good but not great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the gel texture of this moisturiser. It feels lightweight and non greasy . It even reduces the look of pores for sure and it’s not drying like other mattifying moisturisers. I had really high hopes for the oil fighting ingredient however I didn’t find much oil reduction, certainly not 24 hours of shine control like it claims. Maybe 8 hours max but that’s just my skin. I have had to accept that nothing controls my level of oil. But it is a really nice moisture overall. I would buy it again.

Good for combination skin

Ideal for summer

Efficacy

Great make up base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using this la-Roche-posay oil and pore correct serum. This is one of my favourite brands and this particular product didn’t disappoint as usual. I love the texture of this serum, it dried into skin quickly, with just a slight tackiness which made a great base for my make up. The serum reduced the appearance of my oily nose and also seemed to fill in my large pores to make my make up go on seamlessly. For a serum it still made my face feel hydrated and moisturised which was great while still eliminating the shiny oiliness of my skin.

Great for oily skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser comes out looking very matte which I wasn’t used to but I found it spread on the skin very easily with its gel texture. It wasn’t sticky or uncomfortable at all, and left my face feeling hydrated and my pores looking slightly blurred and less visible in general which was nice. The texture is similar to some makeup primers I’ve tried so I knew this would work brilliantly under makeup too. As with all La Roche Posay products this smells so fantastic - clean and fresh and luxurious. Obviously if you don’t let fragrance in your skincare this would be one drawback.

Great product I didnt know existed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oily skin and hoped this moisturiser would keep it under control while still hydrating my skin. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When first applied it irritated my skin and caused it to sting. It did settle after a while but was still unpleasant. It’s a lightweight product, does really well under makeup and didn't cause it to pill, huge bonus for an oil control moisturiser. It’s brilliant at refining my large pores, leaving skin looking smooth and having an airbrush effect. Honestly, I think this is the only saving grace for this product. The matte effect lasted around an hour before making my face shinier and more greasy than usual. I would not recommend if that is your main concern. I was really disappointed with it and expected more from this product.

lovely texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gets absorbed super quickly in the skin, and the skin feels nice and very hydrated afterwards. You don't have to use too much of it, just let it get absorbed for a few seconds before applying any makeup.

Something that works!

Helped clear up my acne

Feels good on skin, not the best with sun damage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pump packaging makes it easy to dispense. On drying, feels nice and almost powdery on the skin. Has a slight, sheer pink tint. The scent is somewhat strong but not unpleasant. While it didn't work as effectively as I hoped on some sun spots, it did improve my skin's texture.

A new favourite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone relatively new to the La Roche-Posay brand, I am completely won over with this product. I have a generally oily complexion, which happens to get worse at different times of the month, this coincidentally came when I was having an especially oily few days and its completely blown me away with how good it is. Ive bought products before that a targeted towards a more oily complexion and had zero luck with them. This product showed a noticeable difference after day 1! I no longer had that oily shine that comes with having an oily complexion. I received compliments on my skin by family members the first week I used it. It is super easy to use, smells amazing and really has worked a treat. Im definitely going to be buying more, and have already recommended to my sister.

Great and effective product!

When applied in the morning before make up, it makes my oily skin shine, pore and oil free for the whole day. It has a great light formula and it's not visible at all. I would highly recommend for a combination or oily skin.

Was skeptical, but IMPRESSED

A lightweight moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this moisturiser from La Roche Posay had a gel consistency that blended into skin really well. It moisturised and hydrated my skin without leave a sticky, greasy feeling. I definitely found that it reduced the visibility of pores, making skin look so smooth. The moisturiser was very lightweight on skin and worked well. It has a slight scent to it but nothing overpowering.

Great oil control

Very good cream

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this moisturiser now for a little over a week. I use it religiously in a morning. It has a soft gel like texture, dries down quickly, and is super moisturising. The applicator is okay, but I can see it being difficult getting all of the product without cutting open the container. The product itself, however, is very good, so I will use every drop. Its improved my skin hydration a lot and I get compliments. People don't believe I look 31!

La Roche-posay moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moisturiser is hydrating and blurs the pores really well. It has a nice light scent what isn’t over bearing. I done a wear test without and underneath makeup unfortunately the oils of my skin did end up coming through after a couple hours. I’d highly recommend this product for combination skin as I think it works well if your skin isnt on the more oilier side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I liked this product. Handy sized squeeze bottle for traveling. Application is nice, the texture of the moisturiser if light weight and goes on smoothly. I didnt leave me skin matte but gave a nice hydrated look and feel. Looking forward to seeing long term results. After a week of use my skin does feel soft and hydrated in the mornings. Down side is the smell and it reminds me of bathroom cleaner!

Amazing moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this moisturiser for couple of weeks now and i am really impressed with how well it controls my shiny T-zone.The gel texture feels incredibly light weight, absorbs into the skin almost instantly , and doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind. It keeps my face completely matte thought the day while still keeping it hydrated, which is usually really hard to find for oily skin.My pores look noticeably tighter and less visible. I will definitely keep this in my daily routine!

La Roche-Posay oil and pore corrector

It’s a gel type consistency and a small amount goes a long way, it has no scent and is super gentle, does not irritate and sits beautifully under makeup without causing slide! This has given me a beautiful glow and made my skin look and feel youthful! My pigmentation is beginning to fade while my pores are reduced and less visible! great upgrade for classic Effeclar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great option for summer. Lightweight formula, fast absorbing & instantly mattifying my skin. works with SPFs or make up products. Good idea to change the packaging onto slim compact bottle. Generally, I've been using classic effeclar in the past but this one is much better, I can see the pores have been reduced and my skin looks healthier without oily shine. Definitely will buy it again.

Good texture but strong fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have combination skin, it’s a soft matte blur that doesn’t dry out my textured areas more. The texture of the product almost feels like a silicon primer. The one thing that shocked me was how strong the fragrance is, like wearing perfume on your face.

Works well on sun spots

Hydration Without the Shine

It keeps my skin hydrated while controlling excess oil , living a nice matte finish without felling heavy or greasy. It absorbs quickly, works well under makeup , and hasn’t clogged my pores My skin feel smooth and fresh throughout the day , definitely a great choice for oily or combinaison skin .
