Light but effective for mature skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is designed to reduce sunspots and other signs of aging. It has a light consistency and is easily absorbed. You don’t need a lot of it and I think the 40ml product would go a long way. I used it for 4 weeks and felt my skin was brighter and felt hydrated. I think there is some lightening in my skin tone, basically my skin looks like it has more of an even tone. For this reason I would recommend.

Definitely firmer

I've noticed a big difference in the firmness and texture of my skin. My chest area seems smoother and has a better tone and my hands have less fine lines and are so much firmer!

Lovely to use but limited results

My main criticism is that it wasn’t clear whether to use it in place of a serum or moisturiser, so I wasn’t entirely sure how best to incorporate it into my skincare routine. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice much difference in the appearance of my age spots. A pleasant product to use, but I was hoping for more noticeable results.

Mela B3 double dose serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially when I first open the product I loved the packaging. I thought it was simple and I liked that about it. First use-the first time I used it the smell hit me, I didn’t like it and I remember thinking it smelled like boiling cabbage or something to that effect but after using it for a while I didn’t notice it anymore. My skin feels so soft after using it and the texture is so even, I even noticed how firm my skin felt without drying it out. I applied it under my foundation and sun cream and it didn’t make my skin greasy or dry but felt the same as in when first applied. Great product and I definitely want more.

LRP Mela B3 Double Dose Serum

Lovely consistency & faded sun spots

Lovely feel to this product

Easy to apply serum

Double Dose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally absorbed straight into my skin and gives a much firmer, smoother complexion on my face and neck.(but had to use a further product due to lack of sunscreen) Used on a particularly stubborn age spot on the back of my hand, it has faded slightly, but this could be that I had just come back from holiday when testing the product ? You also have to apply a sunscreen along with the product as it doesn’t contain any so you end up using two different products. Would use again if it contained a sunscreen.

Fades sun damage

Fantastic for hyperpigmentation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with results of this serum! Just after a few weeks of consistent use, I've noticed that my hyperpigmentation started to break up, and lighter patches are finally appearing. To get the best results I always pair it with a broad spectrum Spf50 in the morning. The only downside: If tiny bit of product is left on the tip of the tube , it dries out a little bit. Keeping the nozzle clean easily fixes this.

Needs time

I have aging skin with plenty of age spots, I can’t see any noticeable differences just yet. Need to get past the scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice large bottle for this type of product as only need to use a few drops so will last a while. Nice creamy pinkish texture however the scent used in this product is so overpowering and a little unpleasant for my taste I can only liken it to old fashioned make up products and could still smell it once I'd applied my moisturiser. product spreads easily everywhere over face and neck only used 4 drops and absorbed well left for a few minutes before applying moisturiser. I noticed after the third week that my skin started to feel slightly firmer but didnt see any other improvements with darker spots or other aging marks on my skin which is the main selling point of this product.

Noticeable difference after two weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did notice a difference in my skin, in the darkness under my eyes from using this, took just over two weeks to notice, but after 3 weeks it was clear that there was more lightening, and it wasn't as dark as before. Disappointing.

Great potion in a bottle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MelaB3 double dose is a great moisturiser, great consistency which didn't instantly get absorbed by the skin, which made is easier to massage it onto the face and neck. The pump action bottle was great as you can put it straight onto the skin. Each pump of this went a long way. I have seen and felt slightly more firmer skin on my face which is great at my age. I have not seen any changes to the dark spots or marks, which I was hoping to see. Overall a great product.

Notice a difference?

I used serum on face, neck and also my hands (as advised product had been tested on hands). I do have several age spots/sun spots on my hands. I did take a photo before using the product and then again today. I can honestly say I haven’t seen much of an improvement, if any. Feeling a little disappointed but on the plus side I do think my skin has felt softer and brighter.

Lovely serum

Help with Sunspots & Age Marks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was delighted to be given a free sample of this product to help treat my sunspots and age marks. I tested this for four weeks It comes in an easy to use pump action dispenser and is suitable for all skin types. It looks and feels like applying foundation as it does have a peach tone to it and has a pleasant fragrance. I applied it to my face, neck and décolleté for four weeks. I can say that it has improved these areas for sunspots and age marks and I will continue to use it. You do still need to apply an SPF product separately. I thoroughly recommend this product to help you with these issues. It is another excellent product for the La Roche-Posay brand.

Brighter, More Even Skin with Faded Dark

I usually press it once or twice depending on how much l need. I found that it is salmon coloured lightweight gel like cream and makes my skin feel smoother hydrated. Has a pleasant smell and comes in a nice container. Been using for around 4 weeks and have noticed subtle results.

Lightweight serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture of the serum is perfect. It’s lightweight and silky. The la Roche posay mela b3 serum absorbs really well and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. Under a moisturiser and SPF it sits really well and doesn’t cause any of the other products to pile. Usually some products designed for skin imperfections such as dark spots can have a bit of a funky scent. This however does not carry that same scent and actually smells quite pleasant. Daily use my skin looks brighter and has a radiance to it. In terms of dark spots it’s doing its job slowly. I would imagine with daily usage for 2/3 months the difference would be noticeable given the effects so far on my skin. The pump makes it a lot more hygienic to use and ensures no excess product is wasted. I have used La Roche posay for a long time and I find the products are affordable in the mid range bracket.

Didn’t make a lot of difference

Brighter skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tested this serum religiously for the past weeks and haven't noticed an improvement to the age spots. However, it is very light and easily absorbs into the skin. Fragrance free and a small amount goes a long way. I didn't get any new age spots and my skin definitely looks brighter and ai'm definitely pleased with the outcome. I've had some brown spots that just appeared out of nowhere during covid, they seem to be permanent. Happy that I don't have anymore, but wish the colour could reduce which this serum didn't do.

Great product would but again

The cream as a lovely consistency and went a long way and went into the skin lovely. It isnt sticky at all and left your skin very hydrated. Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my bottle of MELA B3 DOUBLE DOSE just over 4 weeks ago. I started using it straight away and it started working straight away. It is very light on my skin absorbers within 15 seconds and gave me healthy looking skin. A little can go a long way. Fantastic under make up. As someone of an age who has seen a huge drop in elasticity this is definitely on my shopping list. It is a bit more expensive than I would usually pay but it is worth it!

Decent product

Would Benefit From a Longer Trial Period

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was excited to try this product to tackle the age spots on my forehead. I am a 55 year old but with relatively young looking skin, save for age spots on my forehead. My skin isn't sensitive but I did notice that the product had the effect of drying out the more delicate skin, so I counteracted this with a very rich moisturiser. After the 4 week trial period, I can't say I've noticed any lightening or change in my age spots, but am prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt and keep using for a longer period. Too early for me to say whether I'd recommend the product to a friend. And also too early to say whether I would buy this product over others in the same category.

Smoother, softer skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice neat packaging, has all information needed on box. I liked the pump bottle, was easy to use but didn't pump even amounts out each time. It tended to squirt all over when pumping onto my finger and I felt that I ended up pumping more than I needed. The serum had a pleasant fragrance and was a pink colour so you could see where you were putting it. It had a matt effect when applied and it absorbed well into my skin. It left my skin feeling soft and definitely firmer. Unfortunately I didn't feel that it had much effect on my sun spots, maybe a little lighter but no significant change. Maybe if used over a longer period of time it will have more affect.

Since I’ve used the serum they’ve got a bit lighter but not enough to show up on photo. The serum smells nicer than I thought it would and is light and non greasy. Light weight, makes my skin smoother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for about four weeks now and I can honestly say this is effective. This goes on smoothly, a little goes quite a long way. This is slightly pink ish in colour, is light weight and goes on well on my skin. It is non greasy and absorbs well. I think it is quite potent so rather than using this every day, I gradually introduced this into my skincare routine. Having used this for a sufficient period to see the benefits, I would say this is non sticky or greasy, absorbs well, makes my skin look smoother and definitely brighter and I wore this under my make up. Additionally I did also use this at night under my night cream. I enjoyed using this, it feels a quality product and I definitely recommend.

Great for hands and neck!

My neck and hands especially have a nice difference - a brighter, more youthful glow! However, I ended up with big breakouts on my face. When I stopped with my face, the breakouts stopped. Obviously not everyone will be the same, but it just didn't agree with that area for me. It's great tk jave something for hands and neck though, as those are proper giveaways of age, and I love the improvement there so far.

It’s easy to use, absorbs well into the skin and has a lovely non-greasy feel. My skin felt hydrated and comfortable after applying it without any sticky residue. I started noticing some results after just 2 weeks and after 4 weeks, I could see a noticeable improvement in the appearance of dark spots, sunspots and age marks. Overall I’m really pleased with the results so far. It’s a great addition to my skin care routine and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Good facial serum

Feels nice and good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product felt really nice, lovely consistency and smell. I followed the instructions and put on my face, neck and shoulders. My regular face cream is a Nivea one, and I didn't notice any difference to my face from using this new La Roche Posay cream. However, my neck is noticeably smoother and softer, although there's no visual difference. It seems good, but not enough for me to change from my current product.

Skin treat

Took years off

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the last few years, I started to have quite a lot of sark spots and my sking became so dry. This serum reduced my dark spots and I can finally feel my skin is hydrated. Lightweight serum that keep the hydration all day. It absorbs really fast into the skin and doesn t have a strong smell. Have used it on my face and neck. I am really happy that the dark spots started to fade. Have already purchased a new one, and it will be a part of my routine from now on!

Not a miracle cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found using this Mela B3 double dose day and night cream and interesting experience. While I felt it didn't really do anything for my sun spots, my skin does feel firmer as it contains Proxylane which is known for its skin firming properties. I needed a couple of pumps of the cream each time I used it and it was instantly absorbed into my skin without any stickiness My only issue was that I couldn't use it on my nose as would cause my skin in this area, to go spotty which was unfortunate.

Smooth and lovely to apply

It's ok

After four weeks of regular use, I cant say that it made my dark spots any lighter at all which is disappointing as that was the purpose. Myskin does feel/look smoother and brighter though, but the dark spots are the same as when I started, if not darker.

Absolutely amazing serum

Skin feels amazing and hydrated

The cream is light in application, smells amazing and absorbs well without needing time before I apply my moisturiser. I am not sure whether I have noticed a difference but my skin does feel incredible and it keeps it hydrated all day. I think maybe you would need to use this product over a much longer period of time to assess any benefit. But I do love how it feels.

Visible reduction in dark spots

I love the silky smooth texture of the actual serum, it glides onto my skin easily without leaving a sticky residue. I thought I would use it up quicker than 4 weeks,but realised I only needed a small amount for full coverage of face, neck and collettes. I think it made a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, if I compare the pictures I have of my skin from start to where I am now (and I have more product left- after using generously!) I do see a difference. I will add; this covers the tail end of a summer which was "the hottest on record". Yes I religiously wore sunscreen but as anyone who knows their stuff is aware, sunscreen is not a total sun block, it greatly reduces the intensity of damage from the sun but nothing totally blocks the UV rays apart from a pitch black room! So I was competing with the sun to an extent. I applied both morning and night; 3-5 pumps. I still have more now despite this being over a month, usually by now I'd have more than run out, this is a generous amount for it's use. I'd estimate 2 months here if you are using normally (both am and pm). It doesn't pill or irritate my skin. It doesn't upset my skincare or make up and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin, it's weightless (-you will still need moisturiser) I would recommend this serum.

Great texture and amazing fragrance!

La Roche-Posay serum

It had a thicker texture more like a cream than a serum but it still felt nice and light without taking away from the creaminess of the serum. My skin did even out I terms of colour and texture which was fab and my skin felt super smooth and soft. My skin was very hydrated and I absolutely love the scent of the serum!

Fantastic serum for a mature skin

Haven’t noticed a reduction in dark spot

Used as directed and was very excited to see a reduction in my hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I am a big fan of La Roche Posay; but this is an expensive serum so I would have wanted plenty of good reviews before buying. However, I cannot see any improvement at the need of the trial sadly. I even started using extra on the effected area but no improvement. Maybe it would work if used longer, but based on my trial I will not repurchase.

Does what it says

Did make a difference

Brown marks have been removed and the perimenopausal right had side of my face is smoothing out. Would I buy this again… yes. It’s smoothed out my tech neck and if it can do that its a miracle cream

Double dose serum

Not as expected

Luxury feel
