Nice and hydrating

The color is a very light ivory/peach color and does help with masking the appearance of dark circles. By itself, I can still see mine, but under concealer works well to completely cover them. I don’t really notice much of a scent. The applicator is metal and is nice and cooling on my under eye area. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t bother me at all. Overall I do recommend this cream and would repurchase.

Thai really works and fast!

Poor applicator shape.

I tried this daily for over a month and it’s definitely not my favorite eye brightening treatment. While I do appreciate the metal tip applicator, I hate the shape and where the product comes out. Since it’s flat and the product comes out the center, I found it hard to apply it evenly under my eyes. The shape of the tip would push too much of the product into the inner corners of my eyes and I would have to use my fingers to redistribute the product on my skin. I much prefer a slanted metal tip applicator. I have pretty fair skin with bluish coloration under my eyes and I did find that this product brightened that area somewhat, but it left my skin looking more shimmery like I had put highlighter under my eyes and if I didn’t rub it in good enough I would see it when the light hit my face. I did not notice any scent when applying. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend because there better products out there.

It's super lightweight cream-gel texture and it works well under makeup, concealer and even sunscreen. A small amount is enough for both eyes, and it absorbs quickly without greasiness. It's fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive eyes, I wear contacts and I haven't had any issues with the cream. I have used it consistently for about 3 weeks, and I've noticed a gradual improvement with my dark circles. Great instant lightening but no long term effects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the application tip of this product. It is nice and cooling to the under eye area. You do need to be careful as the tube doesn’t lock so more product can leak out as you are working the product into the skin with the applicator. I have numbered my pictures to show the progression of product use. 1. Is nothing on my face. 2. Is directly after application of product and nothing else. 3. Is a side by side of one eye with product. (The circled one) 4. Is 1.5 months of using product but nothing in the face at that time. The product has a great instant lightening effect on darkness under the eyes. However I also have awful bags so it does nothing to help in that area. Over time it doesn’t help to diminish darkness so it is just an instant effect. It is great if that is all you are looking for. If you are looking to treat bags or looking to lighten darkness over time then this product isn’t for you.

Seems to Work, But Not My Favorite

I’ve used other eye creams in the past with no major benefit, so I was interested to try this out. I have seen slightly noticeable changes in my dark circles and fine lines around my eyes, so it has that going for it; however, the applicator is the worst and this product BURNS if it gets in your eye. It happened to me twice because the applicator often expels product with force when squeezing due to air pockets in the tube and it went right in my eye two separate times. I instantly had to wash the product out with water and use eye drops to tame the redness and stinging. I started putting it on my finger and applying it without the applicator instead, which isn’t ideal. The packaging needs work.

It worked great on my skin and i have been consistently using the eye cream since. It was a really good eye cream product. It helped lighten my dark circles and brighten areas of my eyes.

Not Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The La Roche-Posay Mela B3 eye cream for me was pretty average. The ingredients includes nicinamide, caffeine and peptides. It has a cooling depuffer applicator to be used morning and night. For me personally, I was not super impressed with this eye cream. I have very pronounced dark circles under my eyes. While it lightened them some, the cream itself stung pretty bad. A little goes a long way and the more I put, the worse it stung. It also made my eyes water. It did seem to do a decent job of hydrating my under eye area but reduction in puffiness I didn’t see a big difference in. I don’t have a lot of redness so I cannot say whether it helped in that department. I didn’t notice a big reduction in fine lines. Overall, I would not purchase this again.

Works great

It has become apart of my morning and evening routine and I love it. My skin is really sensitive and I found that when I put under eye cream I would break out. But this formula is super lightweight and not to lo overbearing for my skin. I love the cooling applicator it makes putting the product on so much fun.

Perfect daily eye cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from influencer and La Roche Posay as part of an incentivized campaign in exchange for my honest review. This is my first time using an LRP skin care item that isn’t the sunscreen. After my first use of this ice cream I found to have really liked it. I have dryness around my eyes, and I found this cream to have moisturized it super well. The consistency isn’t too thick or too thin. I believe it is just right. The cream itself was super comfortable and easy to spread around my eye area. It did not sting or cause any problems to my eyes at all. There is a metal applicator which is very soothing when it comes to spreading the cream around my eye area. I have only used this a few times, so I can’t say if it has brightened my under eyes or helped with the wrinkles at all. I personally would re-purchase this eye cream once I run out. I find it great to use either in the morning and/or night and is perfect for any age and skin type.

Helps with dark circles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for over a month, and I really like it. It has helped reduce my dark circles, though they aren’t completely gone. I also have freckles under my eyes that are still visible. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, but it has improved how my eyes look. The packaging is attractive and easy to use. It squeezes out smoothly, and the metal applicator feels nice on the delicate eye area. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t cause piling when I apply makeup on top. It contains some light-reflecting particles that help minimize darkness. I plan to keep using it and see if my freckles fade any more.

Great for tightness, wasn’t for me

I felt the tightening effects of the product the most, but began to notice my dark circles get a bit darker. I did love the performance and hydration this product provided. Great Product!

The cream is thick and creamy and soaks in well to give so much moisture. The applicator tip of the tube is metal, so it’s cold and soothing as you apply, helping with puffiness. After time I saw my eyes look less dark underneath and look more lifted and moisturized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great product from La-Roche Posay! They hit it out of the park with their Mela B3 Eyes! I was lucky enough to be gifted this product for my honest review! I was immediately impressed that the tip that dispenses the product is metal which gives a nice cooling effect upon application. There is no fragrance to the product and it absorbs nicely into my under eye area. It seemed to immediately brighten my under eye circles making them less noticeable. I have been using this product for almost a month and I can definitely see an improvement in my under eye area. The ingredients in this product are definitely working for me! I can't wait to see what my eyes look like after 2 months of using the La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Eyes! When my tube is finished, I will definitely be purchasing this again! Thank you, La Roche-Posay for coming out with such a great product!

Great eye cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I’m really liking the La Roche Posay Mela B3 eye cream. It feels very smooth and glides right on your skin. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and I do see a slight difference underneath my eyes and I feel as I continue it will be even better. This is very sensitive and doesn’t irritate your eyes at all if anyone has sensitive eyes. I love the combination of the niacinamide, caffeine and peptides. This will be a staple in my routine. I would recommend this.

Great drugstore eye cream

It has peptides in it, which a very beneficial but a little stinky 😑😂 I’ve used this eye cream for about 4 weeks now and I’ve noticed a slight difference in the dark circles underneath my eyes. Soothing eye cream

It is unscented and very gentle on the eye area it also dries down to a nice smooth texture not sticky at all. I feel like after a few weeks it did soften lines around my eyes.

There IS a little bit of a learning curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have genetic hyperpigmentation and dark under-eyes naturally. I’ve tried a lot of products, but nothing ever seems to work well enough. Enter the Mela B3 Eye by La Roche-Posay. I’ve been using it for over a month, and I definitely see a significant difference under my eyes when I use it. My under-eyes look healthier & more hydrated when I use this. But be warned— if you have super pale skin like me, a little goes a long way. When I use too much, it hardens into a crust, and leaves behind residue that you can see. If you use a lot?? It’s VERY noticeable. I also notice some burning several hours after applying if I use too much product. I’ve taken to applying with the applicator, and then using my finger to pat it in better, making sure it’s completely blended. I’ve found doing this ensures no crusty residue later in the day, and no burning either. All-in-all, I think it’s a good product, and I’ll keep using it the way I’ve found works best for me. I’d even consider buying it after I use up this one! But since it is tinted, I would imagine others who are super pale or with darker skin tones may experience the same issue I did.

Hydrating and simple eye cream in a hygienic applicator

The cream is too thick to work in with the applicator, so you do still need to use your fingers to apply and get it to absorb. I can’t comment on whether it helps with darkest under the eye - I haven’t noticed that since using. The cream is a hydrating, simple formula and more hygienic than a pot style eye cream.

When I wake up in the morning and wash my face I look more refreshed and ready to take on the day I don’t have to wear as much under eye concealer as I was wearing. I have tried so many eye creams for my dark circles and am always left disappointed but not with this Mela b3 from la Roche Posey. The lightening of my dark circles wasn't immediate (like, there isn't a light reflecting ingredient or color correcting), but noticeable to me after about a week of daily, morning and evening applications. Love the cooling applicator for the few mornings when I have a little puffiness. I also noticed less defined wrinkles immediately. Something I will definitely buy for myself and continue to use.

Different than just any eye cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is interesting, and not fully what I expected. It works almost like a color correcting concealer so you get instant results. I have slightly transparent skin meaning you can see veins under my eye sometimes making it appear I have a little dark under eye, this fully hides it and brightens my under eye. Overtime I’ve noticed my under eye is a lot less dry looking therefore less apparent lines. It has a nice metal applicator to cool down any puffiness. I like to rub it in a little, under my eye with the applicator and then tap it in with a brush. Less is more, if you apply too much it will pill. I don’t use any concealer under my eye anymore and just use this, it works just fine on its own and there’s so many benefits to this formula.

Impressed with the results

Universal eye cream for all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this light weight because it’s super lightweight. I’m big on texture and I don’t like eye creams that feel too thick because I like to wear it under my makeup. This is one that just goes perfect as a base under my concealer. It doesn’t feel thick and it’s hydrating. Although I have not noticed the significance difference in my dark circles, however I do notice it does help with puffiness, especially when you apply at first thing in the morning. A little goes a long way, and I like the applicator it almost feels cooling when putting it on. I definitely suggest this eye cream because you get a good amount for the price. I will be repurchasing.

Just moisturizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream was non irritating, and I liked the coolness of the applicator. However the applicator itself didn't make it easy to apply, so I ended up just using my fingers anyway. I compared using this to a regular facial moisturizer (I used the Mela on one eye and the moisturizer on the other eye) , and I cannot say that I saw a difference in the performance. It did moisturize my eye area and add a little bit of sheen.

Brightening cream for under eye area

The cream went on smooth and seems unscented (which is a plus in my book). It absorbed well and brightened up my under eye area. I don’t have really dark circles so I cannot comment on if it works in that aspect, however, it did brighten up my under eye area. There was no discomfort and it lasted all day. You can see from the photos on the right side is noticeably brighter.

New staple

In this case it's for dark circles and the before and after results are truly amazing. I also love the design/Application of the product.
