I have used this serum twice a day for two months and my Dark spots I'm not faded at all. This is a terrible product!

Disappointed

I have been using B3 for over a month now and have not seen a difference in my skin. Sun spots have remained the same colour and skin does not feel any different. So very disappointed after spending the money and time applying it morning and night as directed.

Do NOT hesitate to buy this product! I was born and raised in beautiful San Diego California I was in the sun/beach every single day is 3 kids had such a wonderful childhood but I’m doing so we all 3 have sun damage one being dark/sun spots on my face hands.

Did not work

I bought this serum 3 months back .It has made no change at all ,no even skin tone,brightening or removal of mild hyperpigmentation.It was way too expensive for me to buy.Highly disappointed. The 10% niacinamide formula was a delight to apply.

I can’t tell you how many products I’ve tried on my melasma that have done nothing at all; this one hit different: it faded by about 40% (it didn’t eradicate it but I’m not surprised as it’s my melasma is very dark and I’ve had it decades) the product has a great texture that clings to the skin, but sinks right in without any sticky residues. I use at night to allow it to do its magic. Consistency is key with this, you need to keep using it daily or the hyperpigmentation starts to return again. I always follow up with a good SPF50 the following day to prevent further sun damage. Recommended For reference I’m 50+ with combination skin.

Keeps my darks spots at bay after picosure laser! I use it every night! The dropper could be slimmer to avoid wastage. Same with the vitamin C. Dropper stem needs to be slimmer.

I've been using this product for from January 9th to May 9th, of 2026. Have not seen a change at all I'm not sure if I have a bad batch or what I'm very disappointed, I had high hopes for this product I thought I would have seen a change at least between 4-12 weeks, the reviews were decent, I thought I'd give it a try and I did but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Helps to reduce inflammation and hyperpigmentation

It has niacinamide and B3 which make my skin brighter and more even. I have pigmentation on my forehead and it’s nearly gone which makes me more happy and it actually calm down my blemishes faster and keeps my skin hydrated. Visible Results Over Time

I have used La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum before, so I could actually see the difference after a few weeks rather than just after one use. Can’t stand the strong perfume scent

I used this for about 3 weeks and just could not stand how strongly scented it was. It took about 30 minutes after applying for the smell to go away. 3 weeks isnt long enough to say if it actually works but i cant stand using it anymore. Im done and will go back to using PUR niacinamide. For reference, i have sensitive skin and this did not aggravate or irritate it. It was the smell that is going to keep me from buying/using it again.

Clearer Skin

I suffer from acne scars and some dark spots which has lightened/faded with a month of using this. I have oily skin and using this did not exacerbate the oiliness of my skin either. I am impressed with the lightweight, non-greasy formula. It does not pill and I can use my moisturiser on top without any transfer. It has a pleasant scent without feeling over-bearing. I like that it is suitable for sensitive skin, whilst my skin is not sensitive it is acne prone and I felt it did not irritate at all. There’s a myriad of beneficial ingredients in this and it is therefore great value as you do not need to purchase multiple products with different ingredients, they are all amalgamated into one formula. The bottle and packaging are user friendly, allowing you to dispense product easily with a pipette. Overall this is a great serum for anyone who would like clearer skin, even if not necessarily for hyperpigmentation as it helps to provide skin clarity. I will continue to incorporate this into my routine in future.

Anti pigmentation

My skin feels super hydrated after every use and I have started to notice a slight reduction to the appearance of my dark circles. The only thing is I found if I use another product like eye cream it tends to leave a white cast and forms little rubbery clumps on my face. The best serum

I have been using this serum for a very long time and I can honestly say that it is an essential part of my daily routine. Best thing I have tried for dark spots

Really happy with this product. It absorbs nicely with no greasy residue. Has a slight scent to it which is pleasant. I have been using this along side their 50+ anti dark spot fluid. Normally in the sun my dark spots become more prominent. But I’ve noticed that they haven’t when I have been using these products. I’ve also noticed a slight reduction and lightness in the dark spots I already have. Definitely gonna keep using this product and hopefully they will fade away completely.

I've noticed my skin tone looks cleaner and brighter. I did see some visible improvement to my skin pigmentation after 7 days of using this serum. My skin is softer and more even. I was very impressed that my skin is visibly more radiant and has a healthy glow. One of the things I love most the Mela 3 serum is it's lightweight texture. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue, making it ideal for both morning and evening skincare routines. I was pleasantly by it's anti-aging benefits. It really works

I have quite dry skin, so I was a bit worried this serum might feel harsh, but it’s actually been really comfortable to use. The MELA B3 INTENSE ANTI-DARK SPOT SERUM feels lightweight. It gives hydrating, and it leaves my skin looking brighter and smoother without making it feel tight or irritated. After a few weeks, I noticed some of my dark spots starting to fade and my overall complexion looking more even. I also love that it layers well under a rich moisturiser without pilling.

Perfect pigmentation reduction

So worth trying!

The serum is a product that I have repurchased 2 and have been gifted to me once by the brand. It works for my skin. My acne scars are harder to fade with the serum but I can definitely see a difference. I would advice giving the serum a try.

This purchase was my second bottle, the smaller size at first and now the larger one. I'm about a quarter into the second bottle and see obvious lightening of dark spots on my forehead and car-window-sun vulnerable sides of my face. Friends have noticed! It's now a part of my twice-daily skincare routine, including the corresponding SPF lotion during the day. I just wish I'd thought to take a before picture!

Exceeds Expectations

Exceeds expectations ... it really works. I started with the small bottle and could tell it was actually improving my dark spots, so when I came back to restock, didn't think twice about getting the large size. I've always loved being outside, lived by the ocean for a dozen years and was always at the beach. I've been faithfully applying the MelaB serum twice a day and now wear sun screen on my face every day, even in the winter, with the Toleraine Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV. I also have the MelaB3 UV and will use that too during the summer.

Dark spot remover

First product I have ever used that reduces dark spots. Goes on easy. Using morning and night. Results within 1-2 weeks.

Disappointing

I was really hopeful that this was finally something to fade the dark age spots on my face. My dermatologist told me to give it 3 weeks to show results. It has bee 4 weeks, and I see no change whatsoever. It leaves a white film after it dries, so it does nothing to soften the skin. I regret having purchased the large size.

Not working for me

I have been using this product for at least two months now, twice daily and following all instructions. I’m very disappointed to discover that there has been zero reduction in the 2 dark spots on my face, especially as the product has received so much hype and is not cheap.

Horrible smell

I received this product as a sample and unfortunately the smell coming from applying it is really unpleasant. At first it smells good but once on your skin, it becomes really strong and chemical. My hands keep the smell as well and I keep smelling the odor all day from my face. I wa very surprised since I ae owned many serums for years and no other products do this. I will not be put this one

I am almost 70 and trying this serum in combination with MELA B3 MICRO-PEELING GEL to reduce dark spots and improve uneven skin tone. Together, these products have made a noticeable difference in overall lightening and tightening my skin. My face also feels smoother and softer. I still have dark spots (and lots of wrinkles), but the patchiness is less visible. I also apply the ANTHELIOS MINERAL TINTED ULTRA FLUID SPF 50 FACIAL SUNSCREEN for a little extra moisture and protection. It’s a minimalist facial regime which I prefer over cake on and cover up make up applications. My face feels clean, protected and healthier.
