Great product

I had a phenol peel December 18. Per my surgeon, my treatment regime started with aquaphor for ten days. After that my instructions were to use this moisturizer. I have always used more expensive products but no longer. My face is still healing but this moisturizer is certainly helping.

I really had hard time finding compatible moisturizer. I tried some Korean moisturisers as well but they were very expensive. But this product is very good to my skin. It did not clog my pore and very affordable as well. I have sensitive skin . I combine this with la rosey posey sunscreen. it is really good.

5 stars - repaired skin barrier almost immediately

I bought this a couple of days ago when every single moisturiser I tried (La Roche, Dermal, Nivea, Avene) all absolutely stung my face and left my face red raw. Unfortunately I broke my skin barrier post over use of harsh acids/exfoliants and this is without a doubt the only thing that has almost completely turned my skin around.

Overnight results

I bought this yesterday. I have impaired my skin barrier and needed something to help repair it. I cleansed and then used the Cereve moisturising cream last night. My face was stinging a little after I applied the cream but very quickly settled and was great. I then repeated the process the next morning and within 12 hours there was no sting when I reapplied the cream. This cream has worked its magic and has started to repair my skin barrier overnight. will continue to use this cream and incorporate it into my daily night routine. I will also purchase the AM moisturising Lotion.

Amazing! healed my Seborrheic dermatitis eczema

I suffer from Seborrheic dermatitis over my face and scalp with white reddish rashes and breakouts which are inflamed due to many environmental and emotional factors. Applying this every night and sometimes in the morning also to protect from cold weather which causes inflammation after 2 weeks I noticed significant reduction in my red inflammation and after 1 month my inflammatory breakout over my face, nose and forehead was cleared up. Th combination of its ingredients have worked wonders and I will be using this forever now as anyone who has Seborrheic dermatitis knows you have it for life. This I highly recommend.

Solid Facial Moisturiser

This is a reliable facial moisturiser that I believe works the best for people with normal to dry skin. I love that it's fragrance-free. Leaving one star out because I would prefer it to be more moisturising and come with a pump - instead of having to twist the lid off and on.

Hydrates without greasiness

This moisturising cream from Cerave is a bit more occlusive than their daily moisturing lotion, so if you have dry skin, this is for you. It can be used on the face as well as body. Both formulas are very similar - they both contain ceramides and hyaluronic acid and are fragrance-free. The main difference is that the cream has petrolatum in it. Petrolatum is a very effective occlusive agent and prevents transepidermal water loss. Despite its thick texture, it isn't greasy at all and absorbs nicely. It works quite well for me as a night cream in winter, and keeps my face well moisturised until the morning. It does not clog my pores. For day time I still prefer the lotion which is even lighter and suitable for layering under sunscreen and make-up

Not great for acne prone skin

I have dry and acne prone skin. As the description of the cream said it was non comedogenic, I decided to give it a go. It was definitely very hydrating but gave me clogged pores unfortunately. This moisturiser would be great for the rest of the body, but if you are prone to clogged pores I wouldn’t use it on the face.

Hydrating formula

Such a rich moisturiser, great for dry skin. This was the only thing helping my dry skin when I was taking isotretinoin for my pimple. The pill make my skin super dry and this was the only thing that help it. To this day I’m still using it. Recommend to my family a friends and now it become part of their routine too. saved my skin barrier

I used a niacinamide serum, but it caused a bad breakout. As a result, I stopped using all of my active skincare products and only used this moisturizer and sunscreen. It stings

I bought this a week ago and used it twice on my legs after shower. The initial feeling is as if I had put menthol on the skin, it stings a bit and it’s warm. After three hours, the area still feels warm. There is no visible irritation but it’s not a comfortable feeling. I won’t be using it again.

New formula is terrible!

I used to love this cream as it used to be thick and non greasy, almost wax like texture. Last week I bought a larger bottle and noticed that the cream is runnier and leaves a greasy film that does absorbe.. What a disappointment!!! I checked the ingredient list and noticed that the ceramides have been pushed down the list by another 7 new ingredients. Please bring the old formula back, this change might be more economic for you but with this product you’ll loose loyal customers like myself.. I will certainly nit purchase it again and would NOT recommend

My skin care essential

Long sufferer of eczema after being recommended and doing research about this product it has helped my eczema. It is fragrance free, quick absorption and does not feel oily. CeraVe Moisturising Cream

I really wanted to like this but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me. It doesn't moisturise my skin at all, in fact my skin feels drier and I don't have an excessively dry skin. It also never ceases to amaze me that Hyaluronic Acid is used on every product as a means to keep skin hydrated whereas, in fact, it does the opposite if the atmosphere is dry and it has no moisture to draw upon.

Love this cream

So happy I found this brand IN South Africa now. It was never available before. I bought this moisturiser as I have very dry skin. Any lotions I used before my skin just sucks it up and looked like I never had anything on but would leave an oily residue. But not this Cerave.. It effortlessly soaked into my skin in a good way and did not leave a oily residue which I love. I can get dressed and not worry about it leaving oily marks on my clothing. My skin definitely feels more moisturised and soft.

Consistent quality

This cream can be used from head to toe, is quite inexpensive, and contains no aroma. It has hyaluronic acid in it to help lock in moisture, which is ideal because it's a different phase in my facial skincare process that I'd otherwise miss when it comes to body care. Formula change?

It was thick, moisturised skin so well and left it silky smooth. However I bought 6 x 177ml bottles recently at Boots and I was really surprised at the cream’s texture - it has changed! Inclusive layer

Now a part of regular routine

I love this cream so much that it is now incorporated into my regular skincare routine. It’s super hydrating without being greasy. It is long lasting as a little amount goes a long way. I even managed to convert a couple of the men in my life, who asked for their very own container! Brilliant product

I swapped the cerave lotion for the cream as I wanted something richer and this stuff is amazing. I use it on my face at night and on dry parts of my body. It is really nourishing but not greasy or sticky. Sinks in beautifully and really helps any dry patches on my face. My skin type is normal/dry depending on the weather!

My favourite moisturising cream! True love!

Having suffered with psoriasis in the past, I’m very invested in skincare and researching product reviews. I’ve explored and used SO many moisturisers out there and after following some very popular skin care fanatics on Instagram, I began to notice that they all rave about CeraVe.. especially this moisturiser. Im now the proud owner of this magic tub and cannot believe how quick and easy it absorbs into my skin. My skin has never looked better

I started using CeraVe Moisturising Cream 2-3 weeks ago now. I was previously using Ultraceuticals Ultra Moisturiser Cream for 8 months before switching to CerVe after hearing American’s rave over it. I have normal to dry skin prone to acne and sensitivity such has redness, stinging and flaking. Within a couple of days all this sensitivity has cleared and no breakouts. Tube problem

super moisturising

This product was super nourishing when I was accutane when my skin was super dry and flaky. The product is super thick and rich, full of skin loving ingredients (ceramides + hyaluronic acid). This was my saviour at the time. Now my skin is back to oily but I still have this massive tub (which was super affordable) so I use a tiny bit (as it's so generous) in the evening and still my skin barrier feels great and plump.

Why so many toxins in this cream?

It feels really soft on the face but have a good look at the ingredients. It contains a lot of bad ingredients/toxins like Disodium EDTA, Ceteareth-20 and Phenoxyethanol. In the long run it is definitely not good for sensitive skin!! Why CeraVe?

I have really sensitive skin, and recently stumbled upon the oil-cleansing method -- so I've totally gotten rid of every face wash I own, and instead massage my face with olive oil every evening. After I rinse off the oil, I apply a thin layer of CeraVe, and my skin is seriously so soft and the clearest it's been in years. I haven't gotten a single new zit since I switched up my cleaning routine! The price is awesome, the tub is HUGE, and you only need a tiny bit to cover your whole face. It's kind of a bummer that it doesn't come with a pump

Quarrantine lifesaver

I had really dry skin (dry patches on arms) at the beginning of Quarantine and within days this moisturiser did a great job in clearing them up. I do wish it came in a pump like the moisturising lotion as but thats just a personal preference.

Miracle for Dermatitis

This moisturiser is a miracle worker for people with super dry skin, I have dermatitis and this helps bring back some moisture into my skin and stops it from being super flakey. I'd bathe in this stuff if i could.

Works well but stinks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product for my arms as I’ve been experiencing dry and breaking skin. I’ve only been using for a few days and have already noticed a different, my skin looks and feels much better and seems as though it should be back to normal in no time. However, the smell of the product is very unpleasant and it doesn’t fade.

Hydrating and non-greasy

This is a hydrating and moisturising cream that's great for sensitive, dry skin, without leaving a heavy, greasy residue. It's quite concentrated and a little goes a long way. The harsh Winter weather has left my skin dry and I found this moisturiser works well to leave it feeling soft and smooth. I'm also pleased that it's fragrance and paraben free so I don't get any irritation.

Great for blemishes!

Amazing! Been using it on my face as a moisturiser twice a day for a month now. It really hydrates and doesn't cause my skin to become irritated at all. It does tingle a bit when you first put it on because of the hyaluronic acid, but that subsides quicky. Has really helped me control a bad breakout when used along with a good niacinamide serum!

Works like magic

I love it for my kids skin. Both my kids have very dry skin that either reacts to almost everything or just never gets fully moisturized with most products. Except this miracle worker. Unfortunately at the same time this makes me break out like crazy So if it works for you, you have found your HG moisturizer and your search can stop.here.

Super rich moisturiser

This is by far the best moisturising cream I have ever used. Super rich, doesn’t leave any greasiness, absorb quickly in the skin and it feels so nice and fresh. My skin is super dry and I would definitely recommend this product. Completely changed my skin and I don’t think I would go back to my old one.
