This product is an absolute GODSEND! I have really oily skin and battled with whiteheads for so long. I tried so many different products until I found this one. Great for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin

My skin is oily and acne prone and I love this gel so much! It can leave your skin dry but if you apply a moisturizer immediately after, you won’t even notice. It lasts forever as you only need one pump to apply it on face. My skin is very oily and acne-prone, and this cleanser really helps prevent breakouts and dries out existing acne quickly. Formula has changed

The formula has changed. The label no longer reads PHYTOACTION, and the inactive ingredients have changed, with additions like glycerin and citric acid as well as omitting the copper minerals. I loved the previous formula; it was probably the best facial cleanser I have ever used in my 50+ years. Disappointed in the changes.

Perfect for those with oily skin

So glad that I purchased this for my husband. His skin type leans to the oily side, especially near his nose, and his other cleanser was not really cutting it. Different to others

I'm used to salycilic acid in my cleansers and I wanted to try this for awhile, first a little goes a long way, scent is powerful natural and green like mint, or tea tree, I left it a minute to have a deeper experience and it definitely felt like a mask like it was DOING something lol. After I washed my skin was fresh, suple, I wouldn't say "hydrated" but elasticity was intact, wich I always missed after washing with other salicylic acid cleansers, with a very even tone, my night retinoid and moisturizer absorbed super faster and I can still feel the "is there doing something", and that is amazing as I feel it doubles as a step, feel like 2 steps so I wouldn't use toner tho I'm oily and acne prone. ♡

Excellent cleanser

This intensive purifying cleanser aims to deeply cleanse the skin while it reduces excess sebum & correct blemishes. The cleanser contains Salicylic Acid & Zinc. The cleanser comes in a gorgeous green tube which contains 200ml of the product. So it will last quite a while. The cleanser as a lovely tea tree like scent to it. I used this every morning and night. The cleanser can be used on both face and body but i did just tend to use it on my face though. You don't need alot of this product is found a little bit definitely goes along way. I wet my skin and gently massaged a pea size amount into my skin and massaged for around a minute before I rinsed it all off. So from using this my skin definitely looked fresh while it kept my skin nice and hydrated too. As for reducing blemishes yes they are a little bit not much. But for me my face was definitely much fresher. Overall I'm pleased with this cleanser and it would be something I'll be purchasing again.

Effective Cleanser

I have been using the Normaderm Intensive Purifying Cleanser for some time and I am impressed with it's results so far. Gets rid of pimples

Best Thing Ever

Best complexion I've ever had!

This is the best facewash I've ever used. Over time, my skin is smoother and I have less frequent breakouts. When I do get a pimple it goes away quickly. Recently added the phytoaction moisturizer and highly recommend the two together.

Great product

I have always struggled with whiteheads and acne and have been using this product for maybe three years now. It made a great difference, I had barely any spots and kept up with the results from my microneedling. I had to switch to a Cerave cleanser for a bit because there weren't any pharmacies selling it in my hometown for a while and it all went sideways, my skin went back to being filled with whiteheads. The best of all!

Having sensitive yet combi skin, I’ve always struggled with breakouts and then dry patches when I tried to treat them with the string actives and acids. My skin likes Salicylic when it comes to blemishes and blackheads but….and it’s a big but…. But it gets so flaky with skin peeling under makeup eugh (snake skin?). I then discovered the Vichy normaderm range and I’ve not looked back since. The cleanser specially is a godsend because it’s gives me the love of salicylic acid but without the side effects. I use it as my morning cleanse and for nighttime routine I use it as second cleanse after an oil cleanser. The transparent runny jelly like liquid melts away all the gunk and dirt from inside the pores without leaving my skin dry or flaky. I’ve noticed that it regulates sebum too so I don’t have oily tzone at the end of the day. The smells is gentle and minty which is great and freshens me up in the morning 😍. The 200ml squeezy tube is a great value for money as my teenager child has also started using it for their ever so spotty nose.

Severely burnt my skin. Swelling and redness 7 days after usage.

Having sensitive skin that is prone to seb derm I was looking forward to the benefits of salicylic acid and zinc. But by God this completely ruined my face after washing with it. Swollen eyelids, bright red rash in face and neck, extreme dryness that doesn't subside no matter how much moisturizer I put on. Absolutely shocking.

Why I have been using Normaderm for 10 years!

Despite having dry skin and, fortunately, not having acne, I have been using this facial gel for ten years. I like the way it foams up and leaves my face feeling really clean and free of makeup. I use Pond's Cold Cream to remove eye makeup and foundation, etc. I follow that with washing my face with Vichy. It is the best. I do use a serum and moisturizer after rinsing the Vichy off.

Great Cleanser for Oily Skin

Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser is designed specifically for oily, blemish-prone skin. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have noticed a massive improvement in the appearance of my skin. My skin is visibly clearer and I do not get many breakouts anymore. The cleanser comes in a form of a clear gel which foams slightly when applied to the skin. I do enjoy the delicate fragrance of this product. I find that a lot of products designed for oily skin dry out the skin however this is not the case with this cleanser. Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser leaves my skin feeing deeply purified and fresh after use. It contains salicylic acid which balances sebum level. My pores appear decongested and purified and my skin does not appear to be as shiny as before. Unfortunately this does not last all day and the shine comes back in the afternoon. Perhaps I need add some more products from this range to my skincare routine to help tame the oiliness. Overall, Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser is a great product and I will definitely be buying more of it as my current tube is about to run out. I would recommend it to anyone with oily and blemish-prone skin. It is meant to be suitable for sensitive skin too, which I am unable to comment on as my skin isn’t sensitive.

Leaves skin feeling clean and fresh

I have combination skin and have always struggled to find a cleanser that can reduce the excess oil in my face but without making the dry patches even worse. That is until I tried this wonderful Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying cleansing gel. I was keen to try it as it contains Salicylic acid which I was hoping would help clear some of the impurities from my face and it definitely has done. My first impressions were that the gel feels lovely on my skin leaving it feeling cooled and soothed. You don’t need a lot of product either, a little goes a long way so a bottle should last a long time. There is a lovely delicate scent to the gel which I found really pleasant and it removed my makeup and the daily dirt on my face in no time leaving it looking smoother and fresher and with a lovely glow to it. I particularly like that it is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin and I have not had any reactions to it or break outs on my face as I do with many other products. I have been using this for several weeks now and can see a huge difference to my skin. It looks so much clearer, my pores look much better now and my face is actually glowing with health rather than with oil. I am really impressed with this gel cleanser and would definitely recommend it.

Works great but I don't like the smell

At 75 years young, I never thought I'd develop oily skin, but I had problems with persistent oil clogging the pores in my naso-labial folds, upper lip and chin. Nothing I did seem to work and even cleansers designed for oily skin did not work at all. So I decided to try products with salicylic acid in them, ordered this cleanser and this did work! Along with a 2% salicylic acid serum, my skin was once again clear and new clogged pores stopped appearing. I alternate this cleanser with a 2% salicylic acid cleanser and it keeps my skin balanced and clog free. My only complaint is the smell. It is not pleasant, smells a little like "dirt" or composting plants - but since my skin likes it (no redness or peeling) and it works, I'll keep using it. Just PLEASE - do something about the smell!

Excellent cleansing

I have been using the Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying cleansing gel for a couple of weeks and I am seeing good results. It thoroughly cleanses the skin leaving it fresh and clean. I like the fact that it does not dry out your face after using it. Perfect for everyday use. Happy it doesn't leave my face tight or irritated. This cleanser comes in a thin clear gel consistency. It smells slightly metallic and herbal. It lathers slightly but not excessively. It does the job cleansing the skin, but is not a standout product for me. I find it slightly drying and overall, average in performance.

Fresh Skin

I have been having a lot of breakouts lately, spots and blotches, which look awful, so when I was recommended this to try I was quite eager as my friend said it was really good, and she was right. I have been using it for over 2 weeks and can already see the difference in my skin, the blotches have faded, and the spots are clearing up/ It's early days yet, but the signs are good and I shall definitely carry on using it. Favourite Cleanser

I have been struggling with acne, comedones and the worst skin texture ever. Nothing seemed to work for me until I tried this Vichy Normaderm Intensive Purifying Gel. The day I used it I can really see my skin is deeply cleaned and more bright the next day. A few of my pimples even dried out the very next day. This cleanser is in gel form and has a very pleasant refreshing fragrance. It lathers really well and effectively removes all the makeup. By looking at the foam I thought its gonna make my skin dry but it didn't happen at all. I can still feel my skin is hydrated and very deeply cleaned. Excellent product for acne prone skin

I used this product for many years, especially during high school, as I suffered with acne, and I can say that without it my skin looking horrible. It cleanses really well and it doesn’t make the skin sensitive to causes other breakouts.

I’m extremely pleased with this product range. I had combination skin with breakouts on my jawline, checks and had dark makes left due to the breakouts. I had given up on my skin and decided to give this product a try. I purchased the face wash , serum , moisturiser and sulphur anti- spot paste. My face has cleared up within two weeks. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a combination product, and hope this helps someone as much as it has helped me. Extremely happy customer all the way from South Africa.

Good product

Really nice texture, doesn’t dry out skin after use, and I definitely can feel the results: the pores on my face, especially on my nose, are producing less oil now and getting less clogged.

Skin feels so clean after use

I decided to try a 15ml sample size and so pleased I did. Skin feels so refreshed after using this Purifying Gel. I hadn't realised how much my skin was missing until I used this with BHA Salicylic Acid and Vichy's unbelievable Mineralizing Water. Literally washes off any outdoor pollutants your face picks up and you see and feel the benefit within a week. Waiting for my online order to arrive - with a full size bottle! Bye bye Blackheads... For good! Yet another fantastic product from Vichy. I am definitely a convert!

Vichi as always with great quality of products . This cleanser in gel smells awesome, very easy to apply and rinse , let your face so soft specially if you have a little of acne by the salicylic acid, work greats also in mixes skins .

A no nonsense salicylic acid cleanser. It’s not as drying as other salicylic acid cleansers, so it can be suitable for every day. I use it before clay masks once a week; this combination is great for clogged pores.

A Great Cleanser!

The Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying Cleansing Gel is amazing it lathers beautifully smells so lovely but is non irritating and has great good for skin ingredients. It definitely helped clear up my congested skin. My skin never feels tight after. This maybe holy grail status :) My only negative which is why I didn’t give this 5 stars is that I’ve ordered this 3 times online and despite being advertised as being in the bottle I have received it in a squeezy tube 3 times. I don’t like it. The bottle looks so much more classy and elegant. Please Vichy stick to the bottle and keep it in production!

AMAZING CLEANSER

The only downfall to this is that you MUST moisturize right after. Your skin feels clean but super squeaky clean and it could be drying at times. But definitely accomplishes it's goal of cleansing.

Holy Grail Status

This Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying Cleansing Gel is absolutely amazing. I don’t know why it’s not raved about it should be! It’s got salicylic acid, copper, minerals other good for skin ingredients. On to top of it it’s got a lovely foam but not stripping at all it’s gentle, I assume this has something to do with the ph. My face feels so clean and smooth after. It has a fragrance but this is the last thing on the ingredients list so it wouldn’t be irritating, plus it smells so good.

Wow, just wow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this face wash to try and it came at the most perfect timing because I have been dealing with cystic acne due to my period and it is gotten really really bad in the last year and a half. I have tried probably almost every single face wash they are just piling up in my extra bathroom and this is one of the only things that I use and actually works on my awful cystic acne and inflammation. This face wash cuts down the time I have the acne on my face and it cuts down the time of how painful they are when they last a long time because they go away way faster when I use the face wash. I recommend this to anybody dealing with any kind of acne or even cystic acne because it is so so good and it's making me not have to go to the dermatologist! I recommend this to anybody and everybody to try.

Normaderm Phytoaction Daily Deep Cleansing Gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience using a product from Vichy Laboratories. This is a decent cleanser. I like that it isn't fragranced. This also actually removed all the makeup residue that my normal cleanser left behind. The only downside for me was that it left my skin feeling dry. I think this would be better suited for someone with oily skin versus my skin which tends to be somewhat dry. I will finish this bottle. At this point I am not sure if I will continue to use, but will decide upon finishing the bottle.

Worked great on my sensitive skin!

Best acne treatment!!!

This treatment combo has helped me with removing stuborn blackheads and pimples in my forehead. My skin looks more healthier brighter and my pores are more closed. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It would not dry out your skin, I have sensitive skin. The odor of the cleanser and the moisturizer is amazing.

Tough but gentle face wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will note the pump is nice, as I kept it in the shower and washed my face at least daily for a few weeks before seeing results in reduction of acne. Adult acne sucks but in combination with the Vichy cream of the same brand- my face is with less blemishes and still smooth.
