Very disappointed

I love the feel of this cream but my husband, who is undergoing chemo cannot stand the smell of it in the house. I was very disappointed that a company that is often recommended to skin cancer patients would produce a product with such a strong scent. It was also an expensive mistake.

My skin had dry patches and was lacklustre with the product I’d used for years. Nearly finished my first jar and I love it- creamy, moisturising and non greasy with barely any fragrance. Now using cleanser and looking into the rest of their range. Great find!

Perfume too strong

Not sure why this cream is so perfumed as it's advertised for sensitive skin. There is a strong chemical scent that isn't even pleasant, unscented would be much better. I put it on overnight and woke up with irritated eyes and blotches on my face. I think this product would be good if the perfume was removed, the consistency is good and ingredients seem good otherwise.

Gentle yet Lacking in Moisture

I recently used this product, and overall, I feel quite positive about it. Firstly, it did not cause any sensitivity on my skin, which gives me a lot of reassurance. However, I found that its moisturizing effect is somewhat lacking; I still wish for a more intensive hydration. Thick and nourishing

I love this cream! It’s thick and hydrating but goes on smoothly. Locks in moisture and makes my skin feel soft and rejuvenated in the morning. I also use this cream for daytime! Really nice for my dry skin in the winter also!!

Fragrance does not belong in skincare!!!

Why fragrance was added to this cream?! It smells like cheap soap. It caused my eyes to burn and even hurt! My eyelids are red and swollen like I was crying for hours. I got it on promotion at a drug store, but it's going back.

Superbe crème hydratante

So soothing!

I have rosacea and extremely reactive skin and this cream felt like a soothing cold pack. As soon as I used it my skin felt calm. Love the smell which is odd for me as I can’t usually use scented products but this one did not irritate in the last. I’ve read a few negative reviews about the scent but I think it subtle and lovely.

My new favourite

I was sceptical about this cream due to people saying it caused breakouts and that the smell was awful. I personally love the fragrance and it hasn’t caused any breakouts for me. Rich enough for night time and light enough for the day, this is a perfect all-rounder. It didnt cause my skin to be oily during the day either

Dissapointed

The glass is a major improvement to your packing which is why I tried it. This cream though smells awful to me. Also, the scent makes it breakout and irritate me sensitive skin. Dissapointed because I like the glass containers and don't purchase laroche posay anymore due to hating packaging. Hopefully, you change other packages.

Cicaplast is far better!

I have used many of the creams from the brand, they are all great and been using Cicaplast for almost 3 years now. I just wanted to try something new and got this one. My skin is not even sensitive but it burns!!! I BURNS! The smell is so strong as well and unbearable at night. Will go back to Cicaplast for sure.

Not good! Irritated my face so much it is burning

I’ve been using for a month now and I should have listened to some of the reviews here that mentioned burning sensation after putting it on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. I was looking for deep hydration and this product does not address my goal. I really wanted to like it hence I have been using it everyday for the past month. This is for sensitive, dry , tight skin. Purchased on this basis. I have burning sensations and left bright red. I spent more than I would usually for a product well known and it’s done the complete opposite. Obviously can’t get a refund, save your money and skin

Not sure it's good for sensitive skin

I've bought this a few times as I find it very moisturising, but I've noticed over the last couple of months my skin has become more and more sensitive and prone to redness. I looked at the ingredients and see there's perfume and also Citric acid in, both of which are notoriously bad for sensitive skin. I think this cream has made my skin more sensitive through regular use. What were you thinking by adding such ingredients in a aensitive skin product?

Why does La Roche Posay think of itself as such a lead skincare brand when it pollutes all it's products with perfume and doesn't even clearly advertise that on the packaging. Skincare doesn't need perfume, perfume doesn't belong in skincare. I don't need my face to smell nice I can wear perfume. People don't smell my face. Someone with redness prone sensitive combi skin

Despite this product stating it's suitable for very dry skin, it flared up my rosacea which I assume is caused by the strong fragrance and matte finish. I found it rather drying than moisturizing. I learnt quickly not to put this by my eye and was also left with a odd taste in my mouth. This is more well suited to people with solely normal skin.

Wish it was unscented

Being a faithful user of Laroche-posay I had high hopes for this product. I was wanting a moisturizer for the cooler weather. The texture was exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately I do not like that it has a fragrance. Having allergies to a lot of ingredients in skin care, fragrance is something I try to stay away from. I actually didn’t even check the ingredients until I opened the package. Why does it need a scent? If it was unscented then for sure it would be a 5/5.

Made my face breakout

I bought a few products to try and this one made my face breakout all over my cheeks and under my lip. I can’t tell if it’s all acne or a mix of that and a rash. I tried it a few times to be sure it was the cream. Really disappointed, especially with the cost.

TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE

Reeks of perfume. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Very disappointed that LRP added fragrance to a product for sensitive skin. I will return this product tomorrow. LRP was always my go-to choice but now I will be much more cautious with their products in future.

Too scented!

This is advertised for sensitive skin, but it is extremely scented which is not something I consider suitable for sensitive skin. My sensitive skin cannot tolerate the scent. Beware if you are like me and looking for something truly for sensitive skin-this is not it!

The problem is the perfume

The product itself is a great formulation but the problem is the perfume. Shortly after using it I developed a terribly strong allergic reaction. Really, there’s no need for perfume. It means so many of us can’t use it and that’s disappointing.

Horrible smell

Horrible perfume smell. There is no pleasant sensory experience in smelling like an over perfumed lady. I wish company like this would evolve and stop putting toxic fragrances in great skincare. It doesn’t matter how hypoallergenic you say your fragrances are, it’s still a harmful chemical and doesn’t belong in a product for sensitive skin. People that enjoy perfume are gonna add it on top of it anyway. I’m begging you, stop with the fragrances.

Efficace mais trop parfumé

J’étais enthousiaste d’essayer ce produit puisque j’ai la peau très sèche. Le problème n’est pas au niveau de l’efficacité du produit, mais des fragrances ajoutées. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ajouter des substances nocives à un produit qui se veut de qualité et pour les peaux sensibles et réactives. L’odeur est insupportablement forte, j’en ai le goût dans ma bouche tellement c’est intense. À cause de cela, je ne la porterai pas, j’en suis incapable. C’est la seule raison pourquoi je donne 2 étoiles. ARRÊTEZ D’AJOUTER DES PARFUMS A VOS PRODUITS SVP!!

I bought this upon recommendation of my family doctor. She recommended LRP for my very dry skin. I asked the cosmetologist which one I should use and she recommended this one. I use it daily and I use it liberally. It makes my skin feel fantastic. I gave it 4 stars because thus far my severely dry skin continues to plague me. I do feel relieve using this and the smell is amazing. It has this very nostalgic fragrance which I love.

Overwhelming scent

I really like the way the cream performs. It moisturizes well and my skin looked and felt great. BUT, the scent is so strong and overpowering that I can’t use the cream. It makes my eyes water and sore. I’m surprised by the strength of the scent, as most LRP products have no discernible scent.

I’m now on my 5th tub of this over the years. Just perfect. I have incredibly sensitive skin and have perfected my routine to just Cera Ve cleanser and this moisturiser. I was on Roaccutane and this is my preference of process after that. One suggestion - due to being sensitive to the sun because of the afore mentioned tablets, will you ever release a product which is the exact formula but with SPF? Would be great to use this. Amazing moisturiser
