Not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a sample of this serum and have only just started using it, so far too early to see any changes or improvement to my skin. This review is based purely on user experience alone. The serum itself is incredibly watery and not what you'd expect to feel from a typical serum, so keep in mind it is very runny. Upon initial application I noticed a very strong alcohol scent that was a little too much for me. I gently patted the serum in and found that it stung my skin, this wasn't a typical tingling sensation, but a stinging/burning feel. It also left my skin feeling very dry and tight. For the price, I dont feel that the experience was that of quite a luxury brand. Again, I cant speak of any changed to my skin in appearance, but the user experience was not a nice one.

Phloretin CF

Phloretin CF product was excellent. I had a small sample bottle that lasted ages as you only need 5 drops a day. Two friends have remarked on how good my skin looks this past week. It has made a real difference, great product.

Phloretin CF

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary sample of this product to try. This is a very lightweight serum that is a light yellow colour and liquid in texture, It sinks into the skin very easily and I think it best to pat it into the skin rather than massage it in because it sinks in so quickly. I wasn't keen on the fragrance but it didn't linger and wasn't noticeable after drying down. I haven't used the product long enough to see any visible brightening effect but after using the Silymarin CF I did notice a difference after continued use so I have faith that this would be beneficial in helping with pigmentation concerns.

Amazing serum

Brightened my skin, worth every penny

My skin looks noticeably brighter and more even-toned, especially around areas of past sun damage. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly with no stickiness, though the scent is a bit clinical (typical for antioxidants). It layers well under sunscreen and makeup, and I feel like my skin is better protected throughout the day. Definitely a splurge, but based on early results, it feels worth the investment.

What I'm looking for

Decent enough serum but odd smell

Science works

A serum for anti-ageing protection

I like this serum since it is perfect for my type of skin, combination and mature skin. This serum protects skin against signs of ageing, such as fine lines and uneven skin tone, and against discolouration, or dark spots. The patented formulation includes 10% L-ascorbic acid, 2% Phloretin and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. These protect against free radical damage and signs of ageing. My skin feels soft and looks more radiant after using this serum. I presume it needs a longer time with constant use to see some improvements in fine lines.

It’s worth but try it first before investing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very promising ,I would say for now …I have phloretin cf.I have used it for only a couple of days and I’m noticing my skin is more calm(normally red,irritated-normal to oily in r-zone) way more clear as well.I had another sample from skinceuticals h.a intensifier and didn’t agree with my skin at all.I had high hopes cause the brand is famous for being effective and expensive so u expect to like everything from it.Didn't expect much after the h.a.intensifier disappointment but the vitamin c works for me and even expensive I’m considering purchasing it ! Mind that I never used vitamin c before ,so I’m not sure if this one is strong but my skin likes it and it doesn’t sting when I apply it .I took a star cause of the price of course and the smell! The smell is not nice but then it doesn’t have perfume to irritate the skin so I’m fine with it -it’s manageable. Definitely one of those products u can see effect after after a few uses.
