Cerave Purifying Micellar Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this micellar water. It cleansed my skin leaving no residue and removed my makeup, both base and eye makeup, really easily. I have quite oily skin but also quite sensitive, so I was happy to see PHA in here which meant it served as a nice no-rinse morning cleanse in addition to a makeup remover. Caused no breakouts or irritation.

Squeaky clean feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this micellar water my skin felt squeaky clean. I used it before cleansing my face to remove any dirt from the day and then followed up by cleansing my face normally. I can comment that my face felt really soft afterwards and i really liked using this product. I like using micellar water as i feel like it gives a deeper clean and this one didn’t disappoint. It didn’t leave my face dry at all. I will definitely keep using it in my routine!

Fresh, Gentle and Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With Micellar water being such a key part of my daily routine, I don’t often switch from my main brand, however this coming along made me wonder why I’d not branched out sooner. As a gal who looks like a panda if her mascara isn’t removed properly, and one who loves to use micellar water to freshen up before bed - I’ve fallen head over heels for this product. I’ve found it to be much more effective than the one I’d normally use, leaving my skin less red, yet fresher than ever! It’s so gentle and really does make you feel good no matter when you’re using it! I also find with this one, that a little goes so much further than normal, making the bottle last ages - which is incredible as someone who uses it so often! It really is excellent, my skin is so happy we’ve started using it and there will be no going back! Thanks CeraVe for making my skin feel wonderful!

Gentle on the skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really been enjoying using this one! I’ve always been a lover of cerave products so when I got the chance to try this I knew I’d love it. I love how gentle it is on my skin, which I always look for in skincare. It’s really effective at removing my make-up, even my mascara and doesn’t leave my skin feeling really tight or dry afterwards. It’s definitely a gentle product, it doesn’t have that harsh, strong feeling that a lot of micellar waters seem to have. Such a perfect gentle every day cleanser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this micellar water, it feels really gentle on my skin yet does a great job at removing my make up and SPF! It's so quick and easy which helps so much after a long day when you really don't have any energy left! I have quite dry skin so some cleansers just strip the skin which is why I love this one - it literally leaves my skin clean but not tight and stripped! I also love that it has ceramides in it as it actually is caring for my skin barrier too. Such a perfect every day cleanser and I would recommend it 100%!

Cleansed & removed makeup without effort

Good first cleanse

Whilst it does say no need to rinse I definitely found it felt like I needed to wash it off after wiping. It doesn’t get all make up off in one go, but honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to. Works so well

A nice everyday micellar water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about a week, and overall I liked it. It removes sunscreen and most of my make-up really well, and my skin feels clean afterwards without feeling dry or tight. It doesn't leave any sticky residue either, which I really liked. The thing I wasn't so keen on was the smell, which reminded me a bit of medicine and the fact that I usually have to go over my eyes twice to completely remove my mascara. Neither of those is a dealbreaker, though. Overall is a gentle cleanser that does the job really well, and I'd be happy to keep using it.

Not great for my skin personally

Feels luxurious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so luxurious feeling. I used it morning and night for a week and it left my skin feeling lovely and clean, soft and nourished. I have quite sensitive skin, and extremely sensitive eyes. It is gentle on the skin, and my eyes have had absolutely no reaction. I often find with products that I end up needing to avoid my eyes as they sting and get red and sore, but with this it was gentle but took off waterproof eye make up effortlessly! I would definitely recommend, and would definitely buy again. My only gripe was that the directions on the bottle says to saturate a cotton pad, but really you just need a small amount - saturating the pad is extremely wasteful and is really unnecessary.

Removes tough make up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually use a face wash for removing make up but they recently changed the formula of the Nivea one I used to purchase so needed to find an alternative. I am a heavy make up user so require 2 pads soaked in miscellar water to be able to remove all make up completely but it does remove it. I still find myself using a face wash after just to feel like its all been washed away but at least I haven't had to find one that works really well as an alternative.

Suitable for sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always quite reluctant to try new skincare products in case they don't suit my skin, however I'm really happy with this Micellar Water. I was running low on my current one so was happy I recieved this at the time I did. When I first tried it, it was very gentle on my skin, and felt really easy removing makeup. It made my skin feel hydrated but clean as well, I used 5-6 drops on each side of my makeup pad and was the perfect amount, I have sensitive skin so I'm glad it left it feeling refreshed.

Very nice micellar water

Works well for oily/normal skin!

But this micellar water has worked really well for me! It cleanses my skin deeply but gently, without any irritation. I recently had heavy make-up on for an event, and it easily removed all of it without feeling like i'd scrubbed my skin off. Definitely recommend!

New holy grail product!

I'm a huge fan of everything Cerave so I had high hopes for this and it did not disappoint. Super simple to apply with a cotton pad in the evening and sweep across the face to remove dirt, oil and spf from throughout the day. No harsh scents or oily residue left behind on my skin; it feels clean and ready for my other skincare products. Great user friendly packaging which makes it easy to dispense the right amount. Genuinely does feel purifying

Surprised me more than expected

The only negative is that the liquid comes out of the bottle quickly so i did end up pouring it all over a few times. I would definitely keep using this going forward

Excellent for clean skin

It was gentle on my skin and didn’t dry it out, but my skin felt clear of product. It also didn’t leave my skin feeling oily - I will be looking for this product again!

Great at removing makeup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all the miceller waters I've tried, this has to be the best at removing stubborn mascara and it reliably takes off my makeup at the end of the day. However, it has lost a star as it did make me break out on my forehead - I'm 36 weeks pregnant and luckily have had clear skin my whole pregnancy, and this seemed to irritate it.

Effective micellar water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective makeup removal, skin doesn't feel dry or tight afterwards. Love that it is fragrance free but still smells refreshing from the ingredients in it. I did find my skin a little more dehydrated than usual after regular use, so I would definitely recommend going in with the rest of your skincare immediately if you are prone to dehydration (and procrastinating) like me. For reference I have combo skin. Other than that, no complaints! Pretty bottle colour too.

CeraVe Purifying Micellar Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with the size of this product (400ml). Very gentle to skin and the eyes, yet after use I wash it out with water. Removes the make up very well and doesn't dry out the skin. Has light refreshing scent. I don't think there is anythjng about it that needs improvement.

It's okay

New addition to my routine

Cerave purifying water

Feels very refreshing and leaves your face feeling clean. I would definitely use this product again. However, I don’t see much difference to my usual micellar water (garnier) but I’m not sure if that is because I’ve only been using careVe for 1 week and haven’t been using it long term. I also noticed that parts of my face are dry in the mornings, this could be due to using it twice a day to make sure I get the full effect rather than usually using it once a day. But dispite this I will definitely continue to use this for the time being and see if this product is the way forward instead of my usual.

One of these reasons is that it lived up to the expectations and did everything the description said. It took my makeup off with just a few wipes which was very practical and helpful especially if you are in a rush to do something. It has also given my skin and face a nice glow and a smooth texture. It feels quite nice and comforting on my skin and was not uncomfortable at all. It was very easy and simple to use and it makes me feel refreshed and clean. It has helped clean my pores as well. Overall I think this is a very good product and very well manufactured, i do not see many faults with this and I would buy this product again.

Lovely product !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product ! I love when a product does exactly what it says it will do. As a Mum juggling work and life having something that is really easy to use is essential for me and this is exactly that for me. I used a cotton pad (you only need a small amount) and it instantly took away all my make up, primer etc that I had on for a full day. I was particularly surprised at how well it removed my waterproof mascara without leaving black smudges all over my face (like other brands in the past). It’s also great that there isn’t a smell to it so I didn’t feel the need to wash my face afterwards. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone who wants to remove make up quickly with ease and still feel cleansed and fresh at the end.
