Product is great, packaging not so much. When pump stops working, there is still a couple weeks of product left in the bottom. Saw off the top! A squeeze tube would be a much better option.

Not Great...

I bought this to help with my rosacea and I was disappointed. It leaves a chalky film on the skin, and it doesn't really moisturize or soothe at all. The Toleriane Rosaliac is much effective at actually calming rosacea down.

Après 2 jours le peu de Rosacee s’est exacerbée, j’en ai eu partout dans le visage et ça chauffait, visite d’urgence en privé chez le dermatologue $$$, Presriptions d’antibiotiques et 2 crèmes $$. Quand je lis sur d’autres site , il semble avoir 8 produits pouvant créer ces problèmes

The best out there for redness

I’ve tried numerous products to help with my rosacea and this is by far the best. It is smooth, gentle on skin, hides redness and has given me beautiful looking skin. A youthful glow. Recommend all day.

Little disappointed

It does keep my face moisturized and reduced the redness a bit, but it does leave a chalky film as if I were wearing makeup. Probably won’t buy again.

This product has profoundly improved my rosacea in only 3 weeks. This product works best for me if I smoothly spread it on my skin but don’t rub it in all the way, then I go do something for about 5 minutes and come back and finish my makeup routine. If I try to run it in completely it pills and flakes, but if I wait it absorbs into my skin and leaves a really even finish. I use a bit of luminating powder after to set it. I’ve been getting compliments on my skin.

Great product for rosacea prone skin

I've had such problems finding something that works, so when a friend gave me this to try, I was blown away. It really does wonders for my skin. My only complaint may be that it's more of a concealer than a moisturizer. That said, I use the mositurizer in the same line and together they're a great combo. Will use this a bit longer to make sure my face doesn't "get used to it" and just go red again, but so far so good!

Wipes off brown ?

Recently noticed this goes on green to freshly cleaned skin. As expected. But wipes off brown before moisturiser or foundation applied. Strange. Don’t know if this is normal or oxidising on contact with skin

Effective for redness and dry skin.

Love it. Visibly reduces my rosacea redness on nose and cheeks . Is actually a very nourishing moisturiser for my dry skin as well. It’s a light lotion consistency so I thought I’d need to add a rich emollient on top, but it’s surprisingly moisturising.

Uneconomical

I was getting used to these cream and was pleased either the results but like other posters do not like the packaging. You cannot see how much is left. I only used one pump sometimes twice and sometimes just once. It ran out about one month. Age Correct UV protection has a similar pump but lasts far longer. I prefer tubes which are also lighter for travel.

Bring back the old formula.

The new version of Rosaliac AR is horrible. It gets clogged in any dry skin and has a very white residue, is not hydrating at all. The old formula Rosaliac AR intense was fantastic, very hydrating which lasted 2 days or more and felt extremely moisturising. Very disappointed with the change.

I have been using this product for a year or so, I love everything about... except the packaging, so much waste! I don't wear makeup daily, but this tones down redness so much that it looks like I am wearing makeup. It would be much preferred if this came in a tube that I could cut the end off and scoop the rest of the product out.

Astonishingly Wasteful Packaging

Having a pump dispenser is very wasteful. Not only is not possible to recycle without pulling apart, it leaves nearly a third of the product unusable. When my latest one stopped working, I pulled it apart and found over 12g still in there. I paid for this. It's a very poor product from a sustainability perspective, so I tried to contact the board level director responsible for sustainability. Despite the grand claims on their website, I wasn't even allowed to email them to express my concerns about their wasteful practices. Compare their packaging to that of the Olay container. A poor and hypocritical effort from a major brand in 2025.

cakey unconsistent finish

I am really sad that la roche posay made this product with this horrible finish. it dries once applied to face and it is not smooth to apply evenly. it has a cakey finish and expensive for this bad quality

Won't be a returning customer for this one

So disappointed with this new version of the rosaliac moisturiser. Loved the previous one, but this one does anything but glide onto the skin and then leaves a chalky residue. I don't need to look ghostly white/green while having my skin feel so dry anyway. I will not be repurchasing this formula.

Made my skin worse

I’ve been using this a few weeks now and thought it was something I was eating… Since using the cream, I have what looks like, worse rosacea and spots on my cheeks. Feels quite horrible, like I’m having an allergic reaction. Is it purging or is this a bad reaction?

Waste of Money

I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this product. It’s doesn’t help with redness, it just hides it by leaving a horrible white cast on your face. It has a strange texture and made my skin feel tight. It doesn’t feel like a moisturiser and definitely didn’t feel hydrating. I suffer from dry skin and it made it look worse, my skin looked flaky and patchy.

Good light product

I'm surprised there are so many negative reviews for this product. I've just finished my first bottle and am quite happy with it. I can't put 5 stars as it doesn't completely get rid of the redness on my cheeks, but it's the best coverage I've found so far that doesn't include piling on makeup. My morning regime is wash face, put on the Hyalu B5 serum and wait for it to dry. Then put on this Concentrate, then the "Toleriane Rosaliac AR SPF30 for dry, redness-prone skin", and I'm ready to face the day!

Disappointed with the new Rosaliac serum

I suffer from Rosacea and have been using the original Rosaliac AR Intense serum for many years. The last time I tried to purchase it I was informed that it had been discontinued and replaced by a similar product which I decided to try. Unfortunately there is no comparison between the two products. The original serum glided over my skin leaving it feel hydrated, soft and smooth, it was an amazing product. The new product feels chalky and heavy and my skin does not feel hydrated after application and after a couple of hours my skin feels flaky and dry. I'm trying to find another Company that has the same or similar product to the original serum as it was an amazing product.

Nope. I have rosacaea and the green tint is weird and unflattering on my Fitzpatrick type 3 skin. It also does nothing and is non existent by the end of the day. There are better products out there.

This is a very very disappointing product it leaves flakes on your skin no matter how much you try rubbing it in looks like flakes of clay you have to wash it right off. It’s ridiculous I’m not sure they tested it before they put it on the market. Save your money and look for a different product.

Dissappointing

Bought this product in the spring to cover redness from bouts of rosacea. Significant pilling with each attempt to use it. Would need to wash my face after applying, in order to strip this product off. I have made several attempts to use the Rosalia AR by patting it on, layering it with other la Roche possay products but the result is a complete mess for me. I wouldn't go out with this product on my face as it sits on the surface of my skin, pills and doesn't take away even mild redness.

I can’t believe it has taken me most of my life to find a face cream that does not make me go bright red. This is the bomb and an absolutely beautiful cream to put on, it makes my face look fresh and normal, the cream isn’t greasy on your skin either. Really does calm redness

I tried this for red, irritated skin, it is greenish in colour and thick when applied. Once it settles into the skin you can actually see within minutes how much the redness calms down. I didn't think I'd be able to apply makeup over the top but surprisingly it accepted the makeup well. My skin didn't feel tight or sore like it was before applying this. Pleased so far!

Happy tears!

This girl cried literal happy tears. I was desperate to find something that worked that didn't require steroids and prescriptions and finally, I took the plunge and bought this. I spent months reading reviews and let me tell you, this feels like magic. My flare up was particularly bad this past week and after one application the redness was down, the bumps were soothed and the heat was gone! I am so glad I bought this. I'm set now.

I bought it as it's replacing apparently the Rosaliac rougeurs localisées. I am very disappointed. I prefer the previous one by far. The previous one was refreshing and covering well my couperose without leaving any green marks as soon as I add a moisturiser or foundation. I love La Roche Posay and been using the couperose products for years but unless you bring back the previous one, I will move to a different make as it's not what I want anymore

I don't know why there are so many negative comments about this product?! Honestly the best product i use it daily, I have seb hem under my nose and around my eyes which is always a bright red. Horrible

This is a concealer, is masks the redness of your skin like a foundation. I’ve out this stuff on after a couple of hours grabbed a white towel, cleaned my face with water and the towel was a light brown just like when you clean off your foundation. Im very disappointed with this product as they make it seem it will really help your skin. It does not it conceals your redness.

Just awful for me

My dermatologist recommended this product along with the face wash. The face wash is fantastic. I absolutely love it, but this stuff is horrible. Before I used it, I had rosy red cheeks. I have been using it for a month now and my face is full of red blotches and I'm breaking out with acne. I am a 53 year old woman. I haven't suffered with acne in 30 years! I am so disappointed!

Not a fan of the texture of this cream

I don't like the feel of this cream. I do use all the other recommended ones for redness and love them. Love the Toleriane Ultra Dermallergo Hydrating Serum, Toleriane Overnight Moisturiser and Day Moisturiser and Cream Cleanser. Also use the Hyalu B5 Acid Serum (this can feel a little tacky but if you press it in to the skin as directed and not rub it into the skin - I find it works better). I also use the Mela B3 Serum at night. But like any layering of creams or serums - wait for it to dry before applying next round of creams/serums to face or neck.

It ruined my skin.

This product has actually ruined my skin and now my rosacea is back with a vengeance. The serum was amazing but this doesn’t compare and it is distressing - my skin is burning, dry, blistering and Iv stopped going out in public because it’s that bad. I can’t go to work without people asking what is wrong with my face, it is so upsetting. I feel almost suicidal, I am crying just writing this. It works!

dispenser breaks every time

Hi I love the product. But I have bought this product 3 times. All 3 times, the dispenser has stopped working. There is lots of lotion still left-literally half of the product. the bottle top doesn't come apart from the actual bottle itself and I have had to try very hard with knives and scissors to cut it open. If this is faulty which clearly it is, make the bottom easy to open as it is such a waste of product and money to keep buying more.

It worked for me

I used the Toleraine Rosalic makeup removal gel as a cleanser. I don't know if it removes makeup as I havent been wearing any. Then Cosrx peptide booster Then the rosalic AR Concentré Then the Cicaplast Baume B5+ It made a noticeable difference in reducing my redness when I woke up the next day. I can't compare it to the previous formula as I have only started using it but it has visibly helped calm my skin. For reference, I have sensitive dry skin with rosacea and psoriasis. It didn't help with the psoriasis just the rosacea but I don't mind that as it's designed for rosacea.

Like pretty much everyone else's review, the old product was a lot better. For an 'improved product', it really doesn't work that well in reducing redness. It's a lot thicker than before and doesn't spread as well. The previous one made gradual improvements, but this none..

Its seems that they replace the Rosaliac AR intense, by the Toleriane Rosaliac AR, its a green paste, make green chalky spots in your face, perfect for Haloween but not for everyday life... Toleriane Rosaliac AR 40ml

I bought this for my daughter. She didn't want it, as she said she didn't like it. So, I tried it. It was difficult to get out of the tube. When I applied it, my face was too pale. I am light skinned. I checked a better mirror, and it creased pretty badly and my skin looked oily and shiny and fine lines and wrinkles were highlighted as my foundation settled in these places, For these reasons I really didn't like that at all.

I bought this a month ago thinking it was the original serum. However it’s horrible, it made my inflamed skin worse. I don’t understand how this is an improvement? Had high hopes

Was quite disappointed with this product. It’s a moisturizer but it doesn’t absorb so it just sits on the skin giving it a caked on feeling. It did cover some of the redness making it look a little pink.

Very diappointed

I have stuggled with rosacea on my cheeks for a few years and I’ve bought some stuff that cover it somewhat but I keep hearing about how great the La Roche Posay products are and wanted to try. The salesgirl where I bought it talked it up like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. For the price, it should be, but isn’t. It does cover the red a little, but not completely. What I absolutely hate about this cream is that my face die not feel moisturizer at all and it feels cakey on my skin. It doesn’t absorb, it just sits there and does come off if I stratch my face or pull a shirt over my head, leaving a brownish stain on my shirt. Is there anything in a serum or other moisturizer that actually absorbs rather than just sits on the skin giving it a weird feeling??

It feels like you’re putting green sunscreen on your face , the green does cover a little bit of redness but it makes your face look worse because it doesn’t sink in to your skin. If you have dry patches of skin it sticks to it and looks horrible . Doesn’t feel moisturising at all .

Terrible. Please bring back old formula

I tried this and really gave it a try. The result: my skin is dry and rosacea has come back after years and years without any flare ups. I had been using the original formulation for years (Rosaliac UV légère). My skin was hydrated and rosacea completely cleared up. Since this was discontinued, I tried the new formulation and have never been so disappointed by a skin care product.

Worst formula ever

The original version used to be so good. The new version it’s terrible. Doesn't matter how much you prepare your skin before or not using nothing and just the cream. The cream gets your skin looking white caked. I tried with the thermal water first but still the same. If you want to look like you have chalk in your face go for it. There is other French brands who make it better for Rosacea’s.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour camoufler des rougeurs suite à un traitement esthétique de la peau. Très bonne hydratation.

Does not blend well

I bought this a month ago and was very disappointed. I tried it several times but it’s a no for me. Does it blend well into the skin and required more rubbing which made my face more red. It also leaves a green tint. When I did use it it made my make up look cakey

Dissatisfied and disappointed

This is nothing like it's predecessor serum. It's not soothing and not hydrating at all. Makes my skin feel dry and it doesn't help at all with calming the redness like the serum did. Both dermatologists I have seen are shocked and can't understand why the serum was discontinued as that was their number 1 product they advised patients to use. Also several pharmacies I went to trying to buy what was left of the serum were also in disbelief it has been discontinued. This new replacement AR moisturiser is a total waste of money.

BRING BACK AR INTENSE SERUM!

I completely agree with the other reviews - this new product is nothing like what it's replaced and I've no idea why they've done this - the old serum was absolutely amazing for my rosacea and this does nothing to help it at all. Going to have to look for other brands now.

Awful moisturiser

This product is awful. Left my skin greasy but also dry and flakey. Would not recommend. The old intense serum was amazing, can't believe it was discontinued.

Terrible. BRING BACK THE ROSALIAC AR INTENSE

This product is awful compared to the AR intense serum - it's a light green moisturiser and does not work with my rosacea, already it is returning. I have given up with this replacement product and will no longer use LRP products until they bring back the serum. Seems many others feels the same way

Worst moisturizer ever

If i can put Negative 5 stars i would have definitely done that. This product is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of a moisturizer product. I still can’t believe how dry it made my skin with a weird white cast that looks as if i have powdered my face. It’s a huge disappointment getting this result after being a huge La Roche Posay fan. Make yourself a favour and do not waste your money on this
