Actual Silk for my skin!

This is only the 2nd product from this brand that I’ve tried and I’m honestly a convert. I spent 8+ hours in the sun at a concert and this was so handy! It fit in my bag and it had the most luxurious texture. More than anything though, I felt fully protected. I’ve researched this brand a lot and I’m happy to have been sent products to try, genuinely I will purchase with my own money.

Jaundiced !

I started using this after advice given about my skin cancer, unfortunately it made my skin look a very definite yellow, as if I had jaundice ! Because of this I had to stop using it. Such a shame as I love La Roche-Posay. I would recommend this with a proviso to be vigilant about the effect it may have on.

My go to sunscreen all year round!

This is so Perfect for sensitive and reactive skin and also doesn't feel greasy. This is a very lightweight cream and feels very comfortable on my skin, while leaving a healthy glow to my skin. This is perfume free which is a good thing for people with sensitive skin. This doesn't leave a white cast, unlike some sun cream do. You can still wear your makeup on top of this and it doesn't end up pilling like some do. Factor 50+ and water, sweat and sand resistant. No stinging your eyes like some others do. Definitely the best I've tried, and definitely my go too. This is a big part of my routine now so definitely be carrying on wearing this cream. Just perfect!!!

Unexpected Reaction Despite Sensitive Skin Claims

I purchased this sunscreen because it is marketed as being suitable for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, after using it, I experienced a significant skin reaction despite tolerating moisturisers and other skincare products without issues. Following my complaint, La Roche-Posay confirmed that this product contains Alcohol Denat., Fragrance, multiple UV filters and tint pigments, which are not present in their Toleriane Sensitive Skin Moisturiser. While many people may tolerate this product well, those with very sensitive skin should carefully review the ingredient list before purchasing. My experience suggests that "sensitive skin" does not necessarily mean suitable for all sensitive skin types. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience.

Good protection but very runny

This is my first use as was recommended by a dermatologist. It was good at sun protection but I found it very runny and the very vivid yellow colour tends to stain anything onto which it drops. I would recommend it because it works and is supposedly not too harmful to my system but I would say be very cautious about its consistency and where you stand when you apply. It did also slightly stain clothes so ensure it is well rubbed in.

High protection

wish id known about this product years ago, regular suncreams, tried them all and they used to be like an oil slick on my face, then id have a breakout for 2 weeks post holiday. Bad reaction after years of use

After using this sunscreen for years, I developed an allergic reaction to it in April. It’s taken me months to figure out what was triggering my skin issues (acne, a rash on my chin, constant itching, hyperpigmentation from all the breakouts) but when I stopped using it a few days ago, my skin got 1000x better. The rash went overnight.

Unexpected severe allergy after years of use

I used La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 for two years without any problems — it worked well and I trusted it completely. However, a few months ago I started experiencing a severe allergic reaction: swelling, redness, and itching. I saw a doctor and went through treatment, but it took me a long time to identify the cause. I never suspected this product, simply because I had been using it for so long without any issues. It wasn’t until a friend told me her daughter — who doesn’t usually wear SPF — applied this sunscreen just once and had a strong reaction the same day, that I began to suspect it. After I stopped using Anthelios UVMune 400, my skin slowly started to recover and return to normal. It’s really unfortunate, because I used to love this product. But something may have changed in the formula, or perhaps it triggered a delayed sensitivity. I just want to share my experience in case someone else is going through something similar — don’t rule out a product just because it worked for you in the past.

I've been using Anthelios for years but...

I've been using Anthelios Ultra-Light Invisible Fluid SPF30 for years and it is perfection but decided to up to a spf 50. They don't do this exact product in spf 50 so decided to try the Anthelios UV Mune 400 and sadly I'm not keen. First thing I noticed was the distinctly yellow colour but I find it doesn't absorb. I'm 42 but have combination skin & always conscious of products adding to the grease and this product just sits on the skin and feels tacky for at least an hour after application, and even then my skin feels greasy. Tried it once under make-up and despite using primer and setting spray, my foundation was no longer providing coverage after a few hours. Think I will use up this bottle on days when no make-up required and stick to the spf 30 going forward.

I've been on the hunt for a sunscreen that actually works for my sensitive skin without feeling heavy or leaving a residue, and I think I've finally found it with the Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid SPF50+. I was looking for a sunscreen that would offer great protection without being heavy or greasy on my skin and this is a brilliant product for me. The bottle needs a good shake before use - there is a ballbearing inside so when you shake there is a bit of a rattle as the product gets mixed. The product is described as a fluid and it is very liquid so be careful not to squeeze too much out at a time or it will go everywhere. Applying onto clean, dry skin the product is easy to spread and it "disappears" easily leaving no white sheen or greasiness. The product has no discernible scent and, although I've not tried it, I feel it would be fine under make-up.

Sun Safety with Anthelios Invisible fluid UVMune SPF50 my review I like how well it’s easy to absorb into the skin without being to thick. I just love the feel of it on my skin I have tried others that don’t absorb properly I like how it has protects for longer ultra long uva rays. And it’s good for sensitive skin and how it’s ultra water, sweat and sand resistant and non sticky. Thank you for letting me try the product 🥰🌟 (it is also good to wear under of over makeup I advise to wear it over for better protection. Leaving no smudged makeup which is great!

Great for sensitive skin

I have very dry sensitive skin and contact dermatitis on my neck at the moment and this spf did not aggravate it at all it is easy to apply and did not drag my skin as some sunscreens do. I think the yellow band on the label indicates a product for normal/combination skin and my skin is very dry but this was fine. The only downside is it is very watery and also needs a good shake before application.

I have been advised to use a factor 50 broad base sunscreen due to a recent medical diagnosis . I looked at reviews online from people with the same diagnosis on what is the best product to use , and this product was frequently advised . I have purchased the tinted sunscreen factor 50 version . My only disappointment is I can't seem to source it in a larger bottle .
