Amazing!

I’ve honestly struggled with acne scarring and dark marks on my skin and small breakouts. I was recommended this product and at first I didn’t notice much or anything but I stayed consistent.. at first the products did dry out my skin but I followed instructions which helped my skin and now, after 3 months use I can honestly say it’s amazing. All my dark spots have more a less gone. It has reduced and more a less stopped my breakouts! It feels really good on my skin and doesn’t cause it to dry out anymore which is jus great

My skin felt on fire

It’s maybe slightly improved my skin but I’m on antibiotics too so they could be the reason. My skin burned after using the toner & moisturiser but more so the moisturiser. My skin has gone very dry & flaky but jeeezo that stingy burn is not worth it.

Excellent for my acne!

Fairly priced

Very fairly priced for what you receive. Packaging is not great quality but quantity of product is good value. I bought it as a treat but it feels less than premium which is what I was hoping for. This particular skin care range is very harsh and has caused some irritability I was not expecting from a mild spot treatment. I’m hopeful that my skin will get used to it.

Definitely not for sensitive skin

So disappointed in this product which I bought to bring acne on my chin under control. I have combination skin and thought this would help me have skin that felt properly clean but also moisturised. After the very first treatment, my skin burned so so much - I think mostly from the toner but also the moisturiser. I’ve rinsed with cool water but the area still feels angry. I’ve tried quite a lot if products but never experienced anything like this.

Bad

I advise you not to waste any more time and money buying these types of creams that are not good at all. I have been using them and I have not seen any improvement. Do you think that it is good for them that these types of creams are good? Of course not. If they were really good, they would lose a lot of money. It is like a little deception that makes you think that it works, but in reality it does not. I have to say that after using these creams and not seeing any results, I started using natural remedies. Like 100% pure rosehip oil, fresh aloe vera, baking soda, pure coconut oil, olive oil with honey. And I promise that I will notice better results.

Burnt my face

I have been using the trio for 2 weeks ,but they burnt my face ,all I can see is red spots everywhere some dried leaving marks ans some are still red. I never had spots in my life

Severe allergic reaction!!

Terrible burning and itching

My skin was okay after the first 2 days of using this on the 3rd day my skin burned so bad to the point i had to put an ice pack on my face. Under my eyes and around my nose are especially irritable

Allergic reaction

Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to this. My skin is sensitive, but not massively, and I've never had an allergic reaction to skincare before. I confirmed it was definitely an allergy with a pharmacist, rather than just my skin adjusting to new ingredients.

Hormonal skin

This product is a life saver

I love this product so much and clears my skin. the first time I used this product my skin burned and felt so itchy. I would recommend only applying a little bit on your spot and not applying it on the whole face. I would recommend this old version please do not buy the +M as it made my skin worst.

The bundle that changed my life!!!

Ive always struggled with acne and with being combination skin, some products (elsewhere) can be super drying or too moisturising and not good for combination skin... This however is fantastic, literally helped my acne so much, it got rid of my texture, didn't dry my skin out and didn't sting at all! Will never be returning to other brands for skincare. If you're thinking of purchasing... DO IT!!!

Really improved my skin

These 3 products have been a great start for me to improve my skin which has been suffering from hormonal acne plus spots and scars that were so visible. The perfect trio for clear skin

I have been using this set for about three weeks along with some of their other products and can’t thank them enough! My skin is combination, acne-prone and scars easily and these have been the best products and have significantly improved my skin since I have started using. The cleanser is amazing, it’s gentle while cleaning up your skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped and tight which I absolutely love. This is actually the only cleanser I have used consistently as it hasn’t broken me out and has cleared my skin so much! The toner is great as well! I never understood the point of toners but have been regularly using this one and can see the change that it has bought to my skin. Lastly, the effaclar duo is one of the best moisturisers. I apply a light layer on my face, especially focusing on my forehand, cheeks and chin as that is where I break out and have scarring. I have been using this for over a year and can confidently confirm that it does work. I think the trio is great, does exactly what it promises and is worth every penny! I would just like to say thank you so much to La Roche Posey for creating products that are dermatologically approved and safe for individuals like myself who struggle to find skincare that works! This is the only brand I use on my skin!!

A Miracle

I have suffered with cystic acne (I’m 28!) for a couple of years and I have tried so many products to try and clear it. My doctor advised me to go onto the contraceptive pill, which definitely helped, but it wasn’t a 100% cure. I have invested in the Effeclar range and it is the best money I have spent. I have been using it for 3 weeks now, and although I am still purging a bit, my acne is one million times better and I will never stop buying this range.

This stuff actually works!!

Ive had acne for the past 4 years, very sore, painful, small cysts on my cheeks, red scars, dark areas from scars!! I can honestly say I’ve tried everything to get rid of it and none of it has worked like this. I tried vitamins, lots of research, healthy eating, complete change of diet, tablets from the drs along with creams, different birth control and lot of really expensive treatments and different step routines….. I was recommended to try this by a friend who also suffers with acne as she said it was a lot cheaper than other brands and it had got her acne under control, She recommended me to try this start up set along with effaclar serum and a derma roller and even after one use a a couple of people had complimented my skin… I have been using this consistently for the past 2 months and it has completely got rid of my spots… my skin feels fresh and smooth, it doesn’t burn when putting it on unlike some products I’ve tried. It really works, my spots are under control, if I have a spot come up it would be the odd 1 whereas before I would count 30+ spots. Although the redness and scaring has gone down, the scars i have dont look so aggressive I will continue this routine and then maybe look to try another serum as I have seen a few others they do which seems to be more targeted at redness and dark spots hopefully this can’t focus on getting rid of the scars I hope my review will help others that have gone through the same as me and I just wish I knew sooner and could have saved my skin earlier as-well as a lot of money Good bless the person that had made this!! Made my acne worse

I was really looking forward to using this product. I have suffered from acne for a few years now and have tried a whole range of different products. Unfortunately this product made my skin 10 times worse and caused a very bad breakout resulting in very painful pustules which I have never had before. Since I have stopped using the product my skin has went back to normal. I did have high hopes for this product however it just did not agree with my skin.

Amazing must have little bundle!

I have been using this consistently for 8 weeks, the difference in my skin is unbelievable, oil is under control and pores appear smaller, skin feels firmer. this has been the worst products i’ve ever put on my face, i struggle with spots and sensitive skin and these products have completely broken my skin barrier and made me break out more than i ever have before. there is parfum and fragrance in this. they should not be able to say it’s suitable for sensitive skin when it’s not!! my skin burns.

Burns but works?

Bought this a few weeks ago, from the very first time my skin was burning after using it. I instantly stopped using the effaclar duo on my full face and only use the toner from time to time. My skin has been very dry and flaky since using it which wasn’t a problem before. I now use the effaclar duo on my spots only and it is doing a good job at clearing them. However my skin is still very flakey and sensitive so definitely mixed feelings. No complaints about the cleanser though.

Is good quality and genuinely works

I've struggled with acne for a while and after buying a set recommended by the company for acne was feeling a little skeptical. Wasn’t for me

When I used this for 2 days, my face started to sting, so I stopped using the toner. On the 4th day my face around the nose and mouth area started peeling. One area in particular was sore, itchy and peeling which made me immediately stop using the products all together. It said it was hydrating but somehow made my skin peel and hurt instead. I don’t think this product is suitable for combo skin and instead only for the oily skin type.

Wish I had found this years ago

I have had acne sine I was 28 (when I can off the pill) I have been under the hospital and tried so many treatments. I have spent way too much money on different high end brands and nothing worked. A week ago I brought this - day one and two my skin looked worse and cried a lot. I’m now on day 6 and I actually can’t believe the difference. I have a few scabs left but my skin is clear. SO HAPPY

Extremely Disappointed

I brought this product and was left with burns to my face and a flakey dry face which was extremely painful it even resulted in leaving. Ore acne that before using so I’m extremely disappointed and upset with the product and how much I spent on it to ruin my skin even further. Amazing results in such a short time!

I brought this as I was at a loss on what my skin needed and how I could get rid of the terrible breakouts that would happen on a regular basis. Value for money

I have been using these products for a few weeks. I have always looked after my skin using a high factor every day regardless of the weather. My issue is blackheads and open pores. Given time I think this set, (all large sizes) will eradicate my issues. I feel it working every time I use it, so I am very hopeful.

I have had acne prone skin since my teens. I’m now 70. I have bought and spent an absolute fortune on different skincare over the years. Earlier this year, my face had a massive break out of horrible spots. This affected me a lot - spotty skin in older age is no joke. My go to for breakouts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every now and then my skin has a freak out, and I go back to the effaclar products. I’ve used the effaclar+ for a while now and recently added the wash which is great, and the serum. I hadn’t tried the toner before, and wasn’t sure I would like it tbh, as I have an BHA toner already that I use. But I really like this to use on my blackhead prone areas, or spots post cleansing, it feels really soothing and dries them out a bit without making the skin irritated. I then apply the toleriane ultra 8 hydrating spray before the rest of my routine.

Deep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I grew up around the time when 3-step skincare routines were all the rage so when I spotted this kit, I had to jump at it. To use a range from start to finish seems like a great idea & I was right. The cleanser is HUGE! I’m scared I’ll never finish it lol. The texture is a gel-like consistency and doesn’t lather-up into a foam. Rather, it turns milky white on the skin. It’s super gentle and deep cleans the skin, removing any traces of makeup I didn’t get to with micellar water. The toner is a little more clinical, from its appearance to scent. It’s also in the branded blue bottle, and the dispenser isn’t too generous so no product is wasted. It’s great at rebalancing the skin after what I think, has been an overly-active cleanse. And then the moisturiser. Again, quite a clinical appearance with its slender tube and pointed applicator. I usually mark three lines across my face, and deeply massage it into my skin with an oil. My skin has been on its best behaviour since I started this routine, only breaking out once in about 3-4 weeks, which is a dream!

Smooth and flawless

Dream Trio For Acne/Oily Skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already use the Effaclar Cleanser and Duo as part of my morning routine but was excited to add the Effaclar Astringent Lotion. I broke out a few weeks ago of using this and have noticed the three together works great to reduce any inflammation and blemishes before they get too painful. Using all three in the morning has help balance my oils in the morning. I like it.

What a trio!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is fantastic for the acne skin breakout routine! The gel wash gets the debris out (can be a bit drying so be careful and make sure to moisture afterwards!), the toner is soo refreshing with micro-exfaolation. Where the creams does all the magic to the skin for spots. Simply a great routine for unclog ingredients pores and treating blemishes and spots.

Amazing for teenage acne

He found his skin dried a lot, but this is part of the process to neutralise the oil I'm sure. In any case, he applied more moisturiser and it's worked well and quickly. For those suffering from mild to moderate acne or occasional blemishes, this is great.

Great 3 Step System

The best ever range

Despite being in my 30s and thinking that I would have grown out of the congested skin phase by now, sadly that is not the case! I have come to rely upon effaclar to keep my skin clear and blemish free. The duo+ is a daily addition that truly works wonders, especially when I am particularly hormonal. The cleansing gel wakes my skin up for the day and I really feel that the lotion improves the appearance of my pores. The fragrance is beautiful, fresh and subtle.

the best for acne prone

Nowadays I get just a 1 or 2 pimples in a week before my period, and that's when I rely on effaclar. It makes the pimples heal or go away much quicker.
