Great product for acne

False advertising

This burnt my skin. There’s a visible patch with dry scaly skin and redness which didn’t exist before I started using this. It’s been only 4 days and I want my money back.

Instead of medical cream

Excellent product. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea. I used to use a medical cream with prescription. I have started to use the cream and the cleaner, even after few days I have noticed the difference. Now, I have been using it for a year and my skin is really improved, nobody would tell that I have rosacea, it is very rare that I have red spots and used to all my cheeks were covered by it.

Effaclar Duo + M cream

The Effaclar Duo (+M) cream has its pros and cons. What I didn’t like was the pilling, it can be frustrating when it doesn’t sit well with other products especially make up and sunscreen and, the smell wasn’t my favorite. However, I really loved how lightweight it feels on the skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all, making it easy to use in both morning and night routines. Most importantly, it didn’t break me out, which makes it reliable for daily use. Price-wise, it sits in that mid-range skincare category, not cheap, but still accessible, and a little goes a long way.

Massive difference

Easy solution for problem skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this to be a great solution for problem skin, it was highly effective on blemishes and hormonal spots or reactions. You only need a tiny bit and it works miracles calming down problem areas. I have hormonal menopausal skin which occasionally flares up and this dealt with it perfectly. It blends in well without irritation, did not feel harsh.

Wasn’t enough - tube was 1/4 filled

There was only enough in my tube to use a tiny amount for 5 days (once a day not twice like was meant to). My tube was only 1/4 filled which was very disappointing. What I did use I liked but i couldn’t really give it a proper test.

Burned my skin

I put this product on my skin during the night to treat my acne marks. During the morning of the next day my skin was burned and the marks were darker than before. The problem got worse and now I need to find another treatment to heal and get the normal tone of my sking back. I do not recommend it.

Left skin blistered

After a couple minutes my skin started to burn, eventually i took it off because i felt the pain was not normal. When i took it off i noticed my skin was bright red. Please change this product back

I have been is using this brand for over a year and it has done wonders for my skin. However since this product was changed in the past few months, my breakouts have been back big time. It's a blow to my confidence after a long time thinking I had it figured out. Please change it back and let me know when you do. Chemical burn in my skin and irritated after using

I used this product last Friday, and it totally burned my skin in the morning. I have a two burn mark on my cheek on both sides. I am very disappointed, and my skin still hurts. Now it looks like I have a crack mark on my face. The cream is said to suit sensitive skin and provide relief from pimple marks. However, I now have a completely different problem caused by your products, including the face wash, toner, and this cream.

Chemical burn

I have bought theirs product many times and I have always loved it. I used this product last night and it completely burned my skin. Not effective at all!

I used the old effaclar duo formula (Canada version) and it made my skin acne free for months. Once it was recalled I tried this product as it was supposed to be the replacement and my skin had never been worse. I broke out all over my face and it only stopped as soon as I discontinued using this product. Please please please bring back the old formula, I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the replacement and the old formula was such a staple for so many people!

Game Changer

I was recommended to try this by the dermatologist I’ve started to see along with three other products. I have eczema and mild TSW predominantly on my face neck breasts and arms. I’m always nervous to try anything new but this product is so light and doesn’t give that burning sensation when I put it on. I’t was originally recommended just for my face but after seeing such a big improvement after 6 weeks of use it now using it only any flare ups.

A Gamechanger

I am 67with oily skin and have always been troubled with spots. Recently my skin has been really bad with all sorts of bumps and spots appearing. I forgot that I had received a sample if this cream and decided to use it. I was a bit reluctant initially as my skin can be very sensitive at times. I truly cannot believe the difference this cream has made to my skin. Within the first couple of days I noticed a difference. I only use it at night after applying a face serum . and I rarely get a spot. This product, for me, is amazing. I only wish I started using it sooner. I have currently been using it for one month.

I have a sensitive skin and I was treating early acne with this formula just in 3 days I had such a terrible breakout on my skin that I never had it before in my life ! 29 years old never happened to my skin this !!! Does the job

I have used this cream in warm season when my skin gets prone and I have acne. It helped a lot with the acne, clear it in a few days and the pores looks much better. I have used it only once at every 2 days because it my face gets too dry. But I very happy with the results and I will continue using it on warm season

Doesn’t work

This product does not do what it says. While it feels great on the skin it completely broke out my cheeks. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and continued using it for over a month, however before using this cream I used to get a two or three spots on my cheeks then once I started using this cream I was getting 10+ spots. I stopped using it for a few days and my spots completely disappeared. Due to this I will no longer be using this face cream. I believe it’s best to use a light weight moisturiser even with spots as all the ingredients listed in blemish prone products just irritate the skin.

A must have

I received a sample of this and I am truly impressed. The texture is thick, yet lightweight. This works amazingly at reducing the oils on my face while keeping it moisturised at the same time. Can’t live without

This cream is a game changer along with the cleanser I no longer suffer from cyst type spots, which would take forever to get rid of. Using this every morning under make up, has improved my skin so much. 3.5 years and will be using it for a lot longer. I honestly couldn’t live without it anymore

Not great. Smells kinda yuck and my skin wasn't doing as good on it as the regular moisturizer without the M. Unfortunately the shoppers in my area (Manitoba) doesn't seem to carry the regular moisturizer anymore. Hopefully they'll bring it back because the products are not the same!

Effective and easy to use.

This has really helped clear up blemishes and redness from around the nose. It’s so moisturising so it’s left my son’s skin looking so much better. Other products he tried seemed to cause flaky dry skin but this has made a huge difference.
