DO NOT BUY!! i’m a teenager with rather oily skin. my mom bought this product for me because she thought that it would help. i applied a fine layer onto my skin (as the bottle told me to do) and i wait for five minutes. i then washed it off and dried my face. my skin was very red and irritated. it’s been 24 hours and the burning finally stopped. except for the fact that i am now dealing with my WORST EVER breakout. please do NOT buy.

Not sure it’s working for me

I have been using the mask for approx 3 weeks. I am 56 and my skin has become very oily over this last 2-3 years. The clay was easy to apply and my skin felt drier & tighter when I washed it off. I also used the new moisturiser for oily skin but unfortunately I didn’t get the result I was hoping for. My skin still has a layer of oil on it when I wake up. My skin still gets oily through my make up within an hour of application. If anything my skin has broken out in a lot more spots than before. If La Roche would like to use me to trial out anything new that may turn this oil tap off I would be very intrested ☹️

Not for Sensitive Skin

This product is too strong for sensitive skin. It irritates my face and i got rashes after using it. My face was red with irritation it caused. I have used their few products all are too strong and give burning sensation.

Good and bad

It feels super gentle and didn't irritate my skin at the time. After using this, I saw lots of white stuff half way out of my pores but I can't effectively clean them all as they are only half way out. I managed to clean the pores under my chin and on my nose via floss. These two area look clearer and pores are smaller the next day. HOWEVER, my skin is oilier and shiner the next day. I'm not entirely sure whether this is related. I have super oily and sensitive skin.

I was looking for a mask like this and could only find it from other brands mixed with essential oils or food based ingredients which cause irritation. Since I found this I am Beyond happy. First it comes in a tube which I love to get the right amount out as well as not having to put my finger in a jar. It feels so nice and refreshing on the skin. The improvement came For me after two weeks. Especially after a travel intense period or flight I love to put this on. Also I live in a city and this really helps my skin stay clear. This has so many benefits I just love it m.

Quick and easy to use

Ideal for people short on time. I use in the morning before I get in the shower and then clean off with the cleansing gel. Only need it on a few minutes. Skin feels refreshed and mattified. I use once a week. Last ages.

Saved my skin

I have been using all LRP as my skin care routine for two months now, it has saved my skin. I had mild cystic acne and blackheads and pigmentation 2 month ago and now my skin is nearly clear. I used all effaclar and toleraine range and will continue using. The effalclar and Vit c serum have been a dream using Vit c in the morning and effaclar on a night.

I love it

My skin is oily but this product helps to reduce the brightness during the day, I have sensitive skin, I do not usually use it in that area, only forehead and nose.

Great Gentle Clay Mask

I brought this a while ago and have only just used it for the first time a few days ago. Why on earth I haven't used it prior to this is beyond me! A little product goes a long way, leave it on for 5 minutes and wipe away with a damp warm cloth and my oh my will you see results instantly. End results were my pores didn't look as enlarged, my skin was by no means left dry, dehydrated or thirsty and actually felt soft to the touch. I've added a photo with the mask on (applied with a mask brush). Great for those who have oily or blemish prone skin.

Why, oh WHY have you put fragrance in this? For a supposedly 'forward thinking and leading skincare brand' this is a massive disappointment. The skin is compromised enough being acne and oily prone. This is a red flag. A (potentially), good product ruined

My secret to Great skin Revealed!

This mask does exactly what it says. I was given a sample and tried it a couple of times. I was amazed! What pores? They were unclogged and non visible! I am loving La Roche-Posay products. I am proud to say I am 62 years young and now using this skin care brand and my skin never looked or felt better. I have tried many brands over the years, from high end to low to drugstore. This is by far the best!

Life saver for oily skin

This mask is great for oily/combination acne prone skin. It contains great ingredients and helps to reduce sebum without over drying skin. Kaolin clay is great for even fighting acne and Panthenol helps to sooth angry skin. I use it once or twice a week.

Great skin

I absolutely love using La roche posay products. They really have made a difference to my skin. This clay is no let down. So I’ve been getting a lot more spots especially around my chin area. (I thought those days were gone during teenage years!) it’s though being a woman, and all our hormone changes. Anyway, this clay mask really has helped me with this issue. Skin is much smoother and hardly ever get blemishes now and if I do I use the clay mask and it calms the redness down.

I use this product once a week, I have really oily and blemish prone skin and have found this mask helps a lot. The mask leaves my skin feeling so clean and nourished and I have noticed a difference in the amount of spots I get since using this. I usually leave the make on for around 20 minutes, really easy to apply and remove and leaves no greasy residue

Best mask I’ve ever used

I’ve used this mask continuously for a few weeks now and it has changed my skin. It is amazing for clogged pores, black heads, acne, oily skin! I highly recommend this mask for anyone with acne problems I use this 2-3 times a week just on my chin and nose because that’s where I get clogged pores and acne and it has made my skin so smooth and clear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I have quite dry skin I do have a problem with large pores on my nose and they often become clogged. I started using this mask weekly, just on my nose and have noticed a marked difference in the appearance of this area. It seems to have changed the texture of the skin, which was quite bumpy due to the pores becoming clogged. I would imagine that if you have a lot of blackheads that this would be an amazing product to help clear them. Lovely texture to the mask and smells pleasant.

I know it says to leave on for 5 minutes, but I like to leave it on for at least 20 minutes as 5 minutes feels too short for me. And I really feel that this way it lets the product soak deeper into my skin. I've only used it once but immediately I've seen a difference in my skin. My skin is way more matte and my blackheads have disappeared. Also a dark spot which I had around my mouth is fading which I'm really happy with. 10/10 would recommend.

A good mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a few clay masks and this one is just as effective as the others. Is it effective? Well, I used after a few blemishes appeared on my cheeks when I was really down. I used this mask to try and get my skin sorted and it did help. It is not an immediate result but skin feels recovered afterwards. My step-daughter who suffers from acne loved this. It didn't clear her acne but her face felt clean which is good as she often gets down about her skin. The mask is only supposed to be left on for 5-mins but she left it on for 15 and had no adverse effects. This product will not change your life but it is effective and does the job. I'd buy this mask for step-daughter but maybe not for me.

Another great Effaclar Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this for review and was excited to try it, I love the Efficlar range. The A.I is my go to spot fix, and I've even managed to get my husband onto the cream cleanser. I actually hadnt seen this mask before, but who doesn't love a mask? Especially one that works This was ideal for me. Like a lot of women i suffer from hormonal breakouts and congestion especially around the chin. So I've been using this in shower after cleansing, leave on for five mins, then rinse off. I've used it on average 2-3 times a week for a couple of weeks. I've noticed less blocked pores and blackheads around my chin and nose. The skin looks less congested and dull. The mask is a lovely thick consistency and easy to apply and stays on even in the shower. It's rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and comfortable and less clogged up. Without any tightness. Really loving this. It's a massive tube so will last ages, pretty good value i think. And it seems to work well I've noticed less breakouts and been using less topical spot treatment. Definitely a winner

Leaves skin soft and clean

A really gentle clay mask

I had a few tiny whiteheads on my nose the first couple of times (I assume this was the mask unclogging my pores and doing it's job!) but no problems since. I have used the mask 4 or 5 times and it may be there is also a slight reduction in oiliness in my T zone.

Not had long but already love it!

I can’t live without this!

So I’m onto my second tube, I absolutely love it. Perfect just before bed. I quickly wash it off with cold water. Morning comes I tone/ prep my skin for my make up routine, but this mask does wonders. My make up no longer gets oily as fast. I really rate this one, it works really well for me.

Energizing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great product. I have been using this serum for nearly for 3 weeks and so far I really like it. To be honest, I was a little bit suspicious about applying a product on my face with a jelly texture (because I normally prefer creamy textures!). However, I am very pleased with the results, as it absorbs quickly and leaves a non sticky sensation! In fact it is refreshing. Regarding the packaging, it is practical, convenient and clean. It comes in a small transparent botle, and the serum is orange! The slight downside for me is the pipete applicator, as it can be a bit messy sometimes. For example, it is difficult to get the precise amount you need. (I use about 4 to 5 drops). However, for me, this is another great product from la Roche. Tip. Remember your ears and neck.

After using the mask my skin always responds well, and is never tight or uncomfortable. I avoid product with oil as I have combination skin and this seems to work well for me and I could easily use this clay mask weekly to help keep on top of oily T-zone.

Love a good mask!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these products so wanted to try the clay mask, being as it’s currently quite on trend, to my surprise, I found I really enjoyed the experience. It was easy to apply, felt very comfortable, even whilst drying. It forced me to relax and soak in the bath for a good few minutes (which is a rare experience), and came away easily. My face felt beautifully soft and clean afterwards, a perfect way to relax, pamper and cleanse in one go!

Mask thoroughly enjoyed by my teenage daughter (and SON!) who likewise experienced cleaner smoother skin after a couple of applications! Most important: cleanses but does not dry. It fixes my oily face

Lovely thick texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this mask several times now and each time, I have noticed a visible difference in my skin the next day - clearer, tighter pores and a smoother glow. It has a lovely thick, creamy texture and feels cool on application. This mask has the signature effaclar scent which I love. It can make the skin feel slightly uncomfortably tight when it has dried but that is fine as soon as it's removed. I tend to follow up this mask with a moisturizing mask (I use the la roche posay one). Love it!

Amazing results!

It is very easy to apply and has a pleasant, subtle fragrance. I am amazed by the results! My shiny red nose has calmed down! My skin looks smoother and hydrated. A lovely mask that cleanses without causing dryness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have combination skin with a VERY oily t-zone. I suffer from some congestion in that area and sebaceous filaments on my nose. I've multi-masked this on my t-zone with another mask on my cheeks and it's a dream combination. This mask helps to purify the t-zone and reduce oil production without over-drying it out, like some other masks that I've tried do. It doesn't aggravate my sebaceous filaments either, like peel off masks can. It leaves my skin feeling super-clean and smooth, but not at all dry or tight.

My skin is combination with not too much dry, this is really suited for oily and blemish-prone skin. Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this a couple of times as yet but so far so good! Goes on smoothly, easy to wash off and makes my skin feel so soft. As with all La Roche Posay products it agrees with my skin (sensitive) and I will continue to use this.

A recommendation I’m pleased I took

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend recommended this product and I’m really glad I tried it. When I have a flare up of spots (late 30’s hormonal post kids) I use this. It helps calm what’s there without any residual redness which I’ve often had with other clay based products. Along with Effaclar Duo this is a staple in my bathroom cabinet.

Purifying

My go to breakout product

very light, not drying at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The generous sized tube struck me as unusual for a clay mask, so great value for money there! the texture is light, some clay masks i find to be thick and drying but this is unlike any i've used. doesnt dry down too hard, just enough for a deep cleanse without leaving your skin feeling stripped. i would say its suitable for sensitive / reactive skin.

Nice easy to apply gentle clay mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This clay mask goes on easily and is very easy to apply. I have dry, sensitive skin but do get some outbreaks on my chin. My skin has definitely looked clearer since using this and I haven't had any more spots so far. It doesn't dry my skin and is very easy to wash off not like some masks that cling on. A pleasant, gentle product I can use regularly.

This mask stays with me forever!

It has a nice texture and a lovely fresh almost like a meadow smell,which is great considering it's a clay mask. Takes away that muddy smell and makes it that bit better. The results are pretty much immediately visible and the skin is left fresh, clean, soft and hydrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried a La Roche Posay mask before, but this is exactly what I'd expect from the brand. I got no discomfort or redness on my sensitive skin (in fact, it felt really soothing), the thin layer I put on dries, but doesn't pull into a tight crispy layer, and when I wash it off my skin feels really soft. Immediately after there's no oil and I've noticed my skin seems clearer overall after just a few uses.

Makes my skin more oily
