Great Gel Moisturiser with SPF

This product is a great gel moisturiser . It provides me with a hit of moisture with out being too rich, absorbs quickly and I love the SPF 30 as it also provides me with protection. Good for sunny days and hot climes as well as at home .

Light formula with good coverage.

I started using this a week ago, and have discovered that with my dry skin, I still need to use a moisturizer underneath. That being said, this is so much lighter than any sunblock I've ever used over a moisturizer. It has a very subtle, fresh scent that disappears quickly. It is also quite shiny, but when covered with a thin layer of foundation, is matte again. If you don't wear foundation, you may not like the shine finish. But I LOVE this as a sunblock. Foundation stays smooth all day. Gel formula feels great. Highly recommend!

I LOVE IT

I have been using this for just a week, my skin feels much more hydrated throughout the whole day! Its light and glides on so easily, perfect for those that dont want to be slapping on a thick greasy cream

I bought this product a few months ago as I wanted to switch my moisturiser and I'm very impressed. Gel moisturisers are my go to because of how refreshing they are on my skin, which this product is, and I like the fact it doesn't feel heavy on my skin (especially when put on my t-zone which tends to be quite oily). It's also really great that it already contains SPF30!

Great product

I have been using Hyalu B5 and this combines both the Hyalu B5 and a high SPF factor. Great for putting on daily and taking the dog for a walk.

Brilliant

This is the only moisturiser I've ever found that makes my skin feel soft, comfortable and hydrated and after the first use. With other moisturisers I need to reapply within minutes and/or suffer with tightness, roughness, and redness for most of the day. I use 3 pumps of this gel, 2 doesn't quite do it, to make my face feel calmed. It can be a little shiny sometimes, but it does absorb, otherwise a quick swipe with clean fingers, or applying the spf also resolves this. Might be my favourite LRP product!

Awful

Absolutely the worst of La Roche-Posay! My skin is normal yet after apparently this gets very sticky and oily. I don’t like the strong smell either very unpleasant and unnecessary. Not sure why it needs to be blue either, some unnecessary colouring! Will not be buying this again and do not recommend it.

Fast absorbing

An intensely hydrating gel moisturiser for a healthy looking glow. Absorbs into the skin really fast and smells lovely. Great SPF30 protection.

The best ever

I bought this a few weeks ago because of the wonderful reviews. It's absolutely gorgeous. My face (not the rest of me of course!) is 80 years old and just loves this Aquagel with SPF. I've never used anything quite so hydrating, easy to use and which lasts all day. Thank you so much La Roche-Posay - love it to bits.

Greasy and gave me spots.

I use only LRP and this is the first product to really disappoint. It’s really sticky and tacky, even when you’re just applying it. It then sits on the skin, looking greasy and shiny. My skin was immediately reactive from the first use. I notice bumps and a funny skin texture at first then I ended up with spots. I’ve been completely blemish free for years, so it’s very unusual for my skin to react. I would not recommend.

Perfect skin protection base

Fantastic product, like nothing I have used before

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, its like nothing I have used before. I have long been using Hyalu B5 serum and cream and this fits into my regime perfectly. I use this every morning over B5 serum and it is very important to know that it it is antiphotoaging in addition to replumping and firming the skin. It really does it all. The texture is fine and silky and it sinks in quickly. It makes a very good makeup base because it is non-oily.

Amazing moisturiser and suncream in one!

And add in SPF30 protection - a perfect product. My housemate tried it too - and said it's a-ma-zing. We've both already bought some for when our current tube runs out! New favourite skincare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a moisturiser with built in sunscreen protection. The moisturiser is cooling on application and absorbed well into my skin. I love that it also has spf. If I use a moisturiser with no spf I use the anti-helios spf 50 but I do always feel like I am overloading my skin with serum, moisturiser and spf. It didn't feel like it at all with this. The hylauronic acid is also meant to give a plumping effect - not sure I have noticed this yet but have only been using it for about a week.

Lovely Product at a Great Price

Lovely texture

Turns out it does both, and does them well. I use this after serum. It glides on beautifully, and although a little thick at first, dries down to a lovely soft texture that is the perfect base for make up. Ideal for this time of year, when slotting an spf into my regime should be a daily addition - this makes it easy!

A brilliant everyday sunscreen that’s a great base for makeup

But I’m constantly on the quest for one that won’t ‘pill’ under make up, go too shiny, leave a white cast, feel heavy or cakey, irritate my contact lenses. I could go on and on I love the anthelios range, I thought that I was done. But then I received this, and I’m in love. It’s so light. It’s like a gel creme, sinks in quickly. It’s a lovely base for make up. Offers a high protection. And it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing sunscreen at all. Will definitely repurchase. A factor 50 too please for summer.

A very light drink of water for my skin

I’ve not seen any changes to my skin by way of “plumping” but it definitely feels smoother, no breakouts and moisturised. The thing I would say is that that the product is scented and as La Roche products rarely are this stood out for me. However, it’s a lovely, fresh clean smell - almost spa like which I really liked. As someone with very sensitive skin i had no adverse reaction. Overall delighted with the product.

hydrating!

But for some reason they didn't; not for me. I wasn't sure what was wrong but my skin got slightly irritated, more red (too much hyaluronic acid for me?). I stopped using both products for a couple of days and then I decided to give another try to the Aquagel, this time using a different serum. I'm glad to say that it's worked and I'm very happy with this product. No redness, no slight irritation. The gel is really nice to use, my skin feels hydrated, and it has 30 spf.

Nice gel hydrating SPF

I have been using Hyalub5 aquagel for a couple of weeks and I it is very gentle on my skin, fast-absorbing leaves my facial skin feel moisturised and very smooth. Sun protection is a great bonus and can be used prior make up as a routine moisturiser. The downside is that it tends to rub off the skin after some time, but I did not notice it every day i used it, so maybe I apply too much at one go.

Aquagel saviour

Very soothing and hydrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to trying this new gel and it didn't disappoint. The consistency is a gel/light cream (blue in colour). Its absorbed immediately. Because of that I initially felt the need to put on a double application. As it's a gel, it does feel exceptionally soothing and cooling. It has a fragrance which is similar to soap. I quite liked it. Some people might not. Because its hydrating, it does a good job of plumping up your skin which makes it look healthy and smoother. I've been using it for a week and I'm more than happy to continue with the tube and then decide after that whether or not to continue.

Great results within days

Smoother skin

I found this didn’t sink in as quickly as other moisturisers I’ve used and if I was wearing make up over the top I had to wait a while as with it being a gel took a little longer. My skin did seem more supple having used it for a while so that was a bonus. That all being said I have many more foundationless days than I used to so it wasn’t a problem.

My new summer essential

It leaves my skin with a nice sheen and my skin feels fresh and moisturised throughout the day. This moisturiser doesn’t work well with makeup on top, I have found it causes piling. However if you do not wear makeup I would really recommend as it’s great.

HyaluB5 Aquagel

Moisturising - it is absorbed well and is not oily or sticky. On its own it is not shiny. I cannot comment on its SPF30 qualities as it is too early in the year in UK to see its benefits. However I have confidence in La Roche-Posay sun products and expect it to be up to their high standard so it will be useful as a moisturiser plus sun protection for daily use.

Best SPF I've ever tried

Light, moisturising SPF

It sunk in pretty quickly and lived up to its main features of being highly hydrating. I have ageing, but good skin, but it will react if i'm not careful what products I use. i use the day cream and eye cream and it works a treat. This aquagel has converted me from the cream, I've found myself using it through the day as my skin just drinks it in. really lightweight, absorbs fast and isn't sticky at all. I love it! Amazing serum for daily sun protection

I have been using the Hylua B5 range for approx 2 years, and was so happy to find this addition to the range. My skin is sensitive, prone to hormonal breakouts and can get dehydrated over winter. I have been layering this serum gel over the LRP Hylua B5 serum. It gives an extra boost of hydration, and provides to level of sun protection I like on less sunny days. It also plays well with products from the effaclar range, which I use to keep breakouts under control. Happy to make this a permanent part of my skincare routine each morning

Sadly not for me.

Even with SPF, it does not leave any evidence of that "sunscreen white". I had really high hopes for this gel but unfortunately, after a few hours, my T zone was very oily. I do have combination skin so this gel may suit someone with normal/dry skin better.

Great sun protection whilst hydrating

This product is both hydrating and protecting which is what i need in the hot weather, use this under a tinted moisturizer which work well.

My new go-to SPF

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear SPF every day and this has become my new favourite. Best SPF ever. It's a clear gel and it melts into the skin with an instant cooling effect. It felt hydrating, plumped out my fine lines and left my face with the perfect texture for foundation. No white cast. Highly recommend.

Wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I can not believe this is a spf!! It glides on really smooth and hydrates really well. There literally is no residue after like normal spf's. Doesn't even feel like you have spf on. Really immpressed with this.

Great product

It doesn’t have any extreme fragrances and doesn’t alter skin colour after it’s been applied. Great for wearing underneath makeup or if you just want a hydrating fresh look without makeup. Hydrating, yet super lightweight everyday sunscreen for the city

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product. I have been using it as my daily 'city' sunscreen for when being mostly indoors or running errands in the city. I would not use this as my primary means of sun protection, if I were on the beach, but it is perfect of the city. The consistency is halfway between a cream and a gel, it is rather hydrating (I have normal to dry skin and it feels hydrated all day, after 2 applications of this product - one in the morning and one around 2 p.m.), and best of all - it is lightweight. It is imperceptible to the naked eye, but I appreciate most as a sunscreen product is that it does not sting the eyes when you apply it right up to the waterline and on top of your eyelids (similar to La Roche-Posay's Anthelios sensitve eyes SPF50+ sunscreen). It also applied easily in the beard/facial hair, and does not clump up like most other cream sunscreens. Pleasantly surprised by this product and one I would recommend to most people.

Excellent hyaluronic acid delivery for moisturised skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thoroughly enjoyed the hyaluronic dosage in a light non greasy delivery form of aqua-gel. My quite dry skin felt very hydrated and remained comfortable throughout the day both on make up and non-make up days. SPF of 30 an added bonus, requiring no additional sun protection given how generously you can apply this product

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy that this product has been offered to me. The trail is going well. I've decided to use it as a night cream initially as I have been using another cream with spf 50 for the day. This product is very similar to the serum from the same range. It has a lovely blue colour in gel like form that smells fresh. My skin absorbs it straight away and because its hypoallergenic I have nothing to worry about. Definitely noticed improvement in hydration and plumped appearance.
