Pure Vitamin C12

This brightened my skin but also made me break out really bad. It also peeled when you put other products on top. i wouldn't buy this again. Very disapointing

A little disappointed!

The first couple weeks this product was amazing. But after a month or so it started piling and ruining my routine. I kept it out of the sun, I waited for it to dry before layering my other serums. I just didn’t have a great overall experience in the end.

Oxidised and useless after a few days

Serum turned orange within a few days. I did all the right things keeping it away from light and shutting tightly after use. Very frustrating and disappointing as it is useless now and the bottle is full.

I bought this a month ago iand I had worst experience ever with this serum . It is very expensive but I found zero results even after using for a month and half . Need guidance

I bought this month ago and it does brighten the skin. I am observing I apply serum and leave it for 10 min and then layer with laroche azelic acid gel cream and moisturiser. But while applying moisturiser I the serums are peeling away from skin?can you advise what am I doing wrong please?

Fragrance extremely strong

Smells so strong it gave me a sneeze fit as soon as I put it on. It’s like putting a very strong cheap perfume right on your face. Not a pleasant experience to use it. Will not buy again and I’m not sure if I can even finish the bottle. I don’t understand why skin care needs that much of an intoxicating smell.

Worst feeling

This serum is my 3rd time trying hoping to not get orange everytime. But. I only use half of it n it’s turns out darkest orange n stop using it. It’s so costly .. I keep on trusting la Roche posay. Everytime it turns me down.

Vit c serum

Serum has turned dark and also is very stinky like fake tan. Can’t stand the smell so have stopped using it. There is nothing obvious on the bottle to suggest it is a tanning product however it turns my hands orange and leaves orange tint on my face. Disappointing.

Not a bad serum but needs some improvements

I have used this vitamin C serum daily for a few months now, onto my second bottle. I have a couple of issues, first, on the second month of using, the serum started to turn to a darker and darker orange even when I have closed it tight and put it back into the box after each use, giving my face and hands an orange tint. You may have to improve the bottle to a darker colour so it slows down the oxidation. Second, the serum would drip off the dropper when I pull it out of the bottle and also get caught on the bottleneck when I put it back into the bottle, please improve it like the Mela B3 serum bottle and have a catcher attachment at the bottleneck to catch excess serum when pulling out of the bottle. Otherwise this would be a good vitamin C serum on my sensitive combination skin. Let the serum dry before applying moisturizer/sunscreen and don't over rub the moisturizer/sunscreen on, it would cause pilling.

Did you change the dropper?

Love the product it’s the best texture goes on like butter, not sticky or tacky. Unfortunately….I’m not sure if I received a defective dropper or if you have changed the dropper? But I can’t get any product out of the bottle with it. I give it three stars because I have resorted to having to turn the bottle upside down and slap it in my hand to get the product out. But it’s so good that I will buy it again!

Nice but dropper design is not

Stains

Strong Fragrance.

This is my second bottle, and I swear this bottle has more fragrance in it. It smells flowery and so far it has irritated my skin. I did not have this problem last year with this product. There really is no reason for this product to have such a strong scent. La Roche posay is suppose to be good for skin what has changed lately???

Go to serum for brightening in the winter

This is my 2nd bottle of this product and I love it! It has a nice, thicker consistency but absorbs well without being sticky. It does have a slight scent but not enough to be irritating. My skin is noticeably smoother and more radiant, which is such a need during the long dull UK winter!

Magic in a bottle

Magic in a bottle

The pure vitamin C12 serum I have been trying out has proved its worth. The serum is made with 12% vitamin C which has massively reduced the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and also helped with my dark spots. It contains salicylic acid which gently exfoliates the skin and helps unclog pores and sebum up. It has drastically changed the appearance of my skin making its smoother and softer and so much more radiant. I have had plenty of compliments about how my skin looks so radiant and youthful and it is all thanks to this magical serum. The peptides in the formulation provided the calming and soothing properties which my skin needs making it suitable for sensitive skin types. I use a few drops of this every morning on cleansed skin and it absorbs well and doesn’t leave a tacky residue. It also sits well with makeup and isn’t greasy. I make sure to always apply SPF. Cannot recommend this serum enough and it truly pays homage to the iconic brand that is La Roche Posay.

New pipette doesn’t work

Bought this many times - I don’t know why but since the new design of the plastic insert inside the bottle neck the pipette just doesn’t work. So annoying. I even replaced with my old pipette but it must be the bottle itself that’s stopping it working. Bizarre.

I have been looking to add vitamin C into my morning routine for a while now so I was very happy to be selected to test this new LRP vit C12. I have done a lot of reading around this product and vitamin C in general and knew additional an antioxidant to my routine would be beneficial to maintain my skincare after I’ve worked soo hard to battle with hyperpigmentation and post acne marks. As there are soo many in the market I was on the quest to find if this was for me. Firstly I am a huge fan of the LR posay sunscreen with how light weight it is yet highly effective at protecting my skin. Especially with oily skin it’s rare to find effective products that are moisturising and light weight. Likewise this new vitamin C formula did not disappoint and it paired soo well with my sunscreen. Other serums can have a peeling effect and this was not the case. Additionally I wanted to test this for a few weeks longer and I really wanted to see the more long term effects of how this serum would pair with my skin routine and what effect any acne fair ups would have. As with normal skin I had a few flare ups but they were very easy to manage and to my surprise my skin was soo well protected from that stubborn post acne scaring with my new skin routine joint protection of LRP vit C and sunscreen. I’ve received soo many compliments about my skin also which is a testimony to how well this has been and I look forward to see the future results

Fantastic serum

I've been using this Vitamin C12 serum for a couple of weeks now and I can see a huge difference in my dry menopausal skin! Since I hit the menopause my skin has become drier and duller, but this serum has completely turned things around and my skin now feels hydrated, smooth, and most importantly, radiant again. The serum is smooth and velvety and I only need to use a few drops each morning before applying moisturiser. I find it absorbs nicely into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. Best vitamin c so far

I received this part of a testing programme. I was already using a sunscreen and facial cleanser from la roche. I have a combination skin which is probe to breakouts. I have tried few vitamin c serums. I love this one as it gave brightness to my skin but i also think its helping clearing up my skin. It improved overall texture of it. It is helping with unevenness of my skin and took the redness away. I am very happy with this product. Little goes a long way and it doesnt have that sticky feeling as such. I will stock up on this

Gives a glow

My thoughts on using LRP Vitamin C12 Serum 30ml.

The product is packaged well, a card box containing a lidded glass bottle with a glass dropper for ease of application. The writing on the outside of the box is too small for my aging eyes (no glasses yet) and I struggled to read the application information. I spotted a QR code on the top of the box which took me to the LRP website. I had to navigate to the product to see the How to use tab. It would have been useful if the QR code took me straight to the product. The serum is pale orange in colour and appears to glisten inside the bottle. It is pleasantly mildly scented. I have normal skin type, with fine lines, slight hyperpigmentation and some facial redness. I applied a couple of pea sized drops of serum using my fingertips to my face and neck in the morning - after cleansing. The serum glides on feeling more like a soft powder than a serum. A little goes a long way! A few days into using the Vitamin C12 Serum my skin is glowing. My complexion is clearer, more radiant. My skin feels softer and my fine lines appear reduced. I added the serum to my evening routine but have stopped due to a light orange stain appearing on my pillowcase after a couple of nights use. I have given this product a 5 star review and will continue using in my morning skincare routine - followed by Anthelios SPF. It complements other LRP products well. If only it reduced chin hairs!

A great vitamin c option

I’ve been testing out this product for 2 weeks and here are my first observations. My skin has really struggled with vitamin c but I’m so glad this product worked on my skin. I find it nice and gentle yet effective. I use it each morning and it gives that instant brightening effect my skin looks healthier. I can’t talk on any anti aging properties just yet but I’m really impressed with it so far. The downside is the scent I find all vitamin c serums have a weird smell though and the fact you have to use it within 3 months but if you’re using it every day you should get through the bottle.

Great Vitamin C Serum for Senstive/Oily Skin

This is a fantastic Vitamin C serum if you have sensitive or blemish prone skin like me. It didn't cause me any irritation and the addition of Salicylic Acid helps to keep my pores clear. It sinks in really easily and layers well. The 12% content of Vitamin C is enough to help reduce hyperpigmentation and makes my skin look bright. Only downside for me is I don't like the addition of fragrance in my facial products, although this didn't cause irritation, and it is not cruelty free.

radiant serum

I tried this vitamin C12 serum and it's great. you need to give it a good shake before using the dropper. it is thick and a bit slimy, so couple of drops ca do full face. it smells very good, kind of tropical fruits (I cannot recognise the exact scent). The face skin looks radiant and toned. I know it is suggested for day time in combo with SPF, but I tried also overnight and the skin felt revived the following morning. very nice product.

I received this for free from La Roche Posay Community. This is my all time favorite. I have been using it for a long time now and it is the best vitamin C serum ever. Feels so fresh on my skin and very hydrated. I have seen an improvement on my skin, feels brighter and smoother. Absolutely will recommend it to all my friends.

Nice but short life

The bottle and applicator came separately, the bottle had an actual lid on which when ready to use you just swap it with the applicator - I liked this as it made it feel secure and premium. The actual applicator was different than what I was used to an applicator looking like, it didn’t pick up a great amount but you only need a small amount of the serum to apply to the face so it wasn’t an issue at all. The serum has a scent to it, at first I enjoyed it but when I started to apply it and rub it into my skin I wasn’t a huge fan of it - it smelled slightly damp/musty the scent did go but this didn’t make it enjoyable while applying it. It did feel lovely on the skin, very silky smooth and left my skin feeling soft. I did feel there was an improvement in my skins brightness after continuous use and my skin seems to be more even. I found that it did pill slightly though out the day, even after a few hours it still did it so I’d recommend leaving it to fully absorb before applying the next layer - this can be hard if you’re pressed for time in the morning. I did find the shelf life to be quite short (3 months) considering the price of it and how little you need to use each time - I feel that I may waste quite a bit as I can’t see myself getting through it in such a short period of time.

Fantastic serum

This serum is amazing it leaves my skin silky smooth and radiant its also reduced a contraction line on my forehead.

I received Vitamin C12 Serum from La Roche-Posay to test and review for their skin community panel and I couldn't be happier. Things were looking a bit dull but after using this product my skin has brightened and looks radiant; I would say I can't believe the difference but being a big fan of LR-P products I have yet another product that gives great results. I only need to use a small amount, so this will last me a long time. It sinks straight in and leaves my skin feeling smooth straight away. Love it.

Beautiful Serum

I was gifted this amazing Pure Vitamin C12 Serum as part of the La Roche Posay community and couldn’t be happier with it. The serum has a great consistency, not water and thin like some others on the market, it feels silky smooth and applies like a dream. He serum has a very slight fresh scent and absorbs into the skin effortlessly without feeling sticky or greasy, my skin actually feels amazing, so smooth and refreshed. I’ve noticed after just 2 weeks of daily use my skin looking more even, it has a radiance that wasn’t there before. My sensitive skin is looking and feeling better than it has in ages, glowing and healthy. I love this serum and without a doubt will be purchasing time and time again, it’s the best I’ve come across, a new favourite.

Boosts Radiance

I have been using the serum daily after cleansing my face morning/evening for two weeks now with positive changes in the appearance of my skin and feel. I am 41 with skin showing signs of ageing in the way of fine lines & wrinkles making a more regular appearance over the past few months,my skin type is oily but seemed to be looking dull recently and not as radiant as it was before.After using La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum over the last two weeks my skin is looking more radiant and feels smoother. Plump and radiant skin

Started using this serum every other day for a week then progressed to daily once my skin has established tolerance. Like the other La Roche-Posay serum that I am using, this serum is easily absorbed and doesn’t dry up sticky. I use it as part of my morning routine after I cleanse my face and before my moisturiser. Make sure to let it sink to prevent pilling. I didn’t notice much difference during the first week but when I started using it daily, I feel like my face is more radiant and plump. Definitely keeping this as part of my morning routine.

Skin looks great now

I received this serum as part of the La Roche skin community. The serum has really helped with my skin tone and made it looks much more radiant. The consistency of this is thicker than other serums but it really does sink into the skin well. Leaving a soft finish on the skin. I have seen lines reducing around the face since using this and skin feels more toned. Healthy hydrated skin

I received the Vitamin C12 serum a week and half ago and have used it daily since receiving it. Recently my skin hasn't been the great. My texture has been awful and my skin generally looked dull. I tend to have normal/oily skin and suffer with large pores and congestion in my T-Zone area. Since using the La Roche-Posay Vitamin C12 serum my skin feels, soft and hydrated with a healthy radiance (glow). I'm excited to see how my skin improves with continuous use over the coming weeks.

I was sent this by the La Roche-Posay community so thank you very much. I’m delighted with the results and shouldn’t be surprised as it contains lots of active ingredients such as Vitamin C, salicylic acid and peptides. Vitamin C is known for its antioxidant and anti aging properties so this has a thumbs up from me as I’m starting to see some of my fine lines were seeming a little deeper around the eyes although after using this they seem better. It’s not irritated the skin around my eyes and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy finish. My skin seem brighter after using this and I noticed that sun spots seemed less visible which pleases me, all in all I’m really pleased with the results and will be buying a bottle for myself when I’ve finished this bottle

Amazing serum

I recieved the pure vitamin C12 Serum complementary from la roche posay to test and review as a member of the lrp skin community. The serum comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper making it easy to dispense the correct amount of serum. The serum has a nice fresh citrus fragrance to it. The texture of the serum is lightweight and creamy and it absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue behind. It layers extremely well with my other skincare products. This is one of the best vitamin c serums I have tried. I love how this serum has brightened and improved my skins texture. My skin tone is more even and glowy. My fine lines are less prominent and my face feels more soft radiant and hydrated. This serum is suitable for sensitive skin and it didn't cause any redness. AD/GIFTED.

Gives you gorgeous Glowing skin

I recieved the Vitamin C12 Serum complimentary from La Roche-Posay to test and review for their panel. The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. There is 30ml of product. The dropper works well enough. The serum has a subtle fresh scent. It feel cool and refreshing on skin. The serum is mid-weightt, though is absorbs really well I to skin and once on feels light. The star ingredient of this serum is Vitamin C, which helps with radiance of skin, fine lines and wrinkles. Other noteworthy ingredients are salicylic acid (unplugs pores, smooths skin) and neurosensine is a peptide with soothes skin. The first time I used was day time. I thought it did a good job, hydrated and plumped my skin. However when I used it overnight, that's when I was really impressed, I woke up with radiant glowing skin with a beautiful dewy finish. My skin has a higher tolerance for Vitamin C, so I was able to use this daily. If you are not familiar with Vitamin C in your skincare, I would suggest using it every other day. I have really loved using this product and will definitely repurchase!

Makes a real difference to your skin

In two weeks this serum has made a real difference to my skin it is noticeably brighter, smoother and clearer with an improved and more even skin tone. It really has worked very quickly and my skin also feels much more nourished and hydrated. I am very impressed with this and I can honestly say it is by far and away the best Vitamin C serum I have ever used. The first thing I noticed about it is the lovely velvety texture which feels soft and caring on your skin and is not oily or sticky at all. In fact this serum is perfect to use under your SPF moisturiser and it makes an ideal make up base. It smells lovely too and absorbs quickly to feel barely there. I am hoping with continued use that my skin will look even better and the serum will help to correct the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as promised.

The best serum

I would say this is the best serum I ever tried. My skin has improved so much in just 2 weeks of using it daily. Looms very healthy and the glow wow the glow is just shocking how it can change so fast . Is not gressy and I love the fact that i use it and then I can use my normal things and put my make up If i want

First Impressions of La RochePosay Pure VitaminC12

I received this serum as a member of the La Roche-Posay community. Its texture is a bit creamy and heavy, but it’s very smooth and has a pleasant scent. I’ve been using it for a week now, incorporating it into my morning skincare routine along with a sunscreen from the same brand. I’ve noticed my skin looking more radiant lately, and I’m really loving it. The only issue I have with La Roche-Posay serums is that every time I use a new one for the first time, I get a cold sore on my lip. It happens only with the first application of any serum from this brand. The cold sore lasts about a week and gradually fades (I still have a slight mark from the latest one). I understand that not everyone experiences this, and my skin seems to adapt afterward, with no further issues unless I start a new serum. Despite this, I’ve loved every serum I’ve tried so far. I’m not sure why this happens, but it’s something I’ve come to expect the first time I use a new one.
