I’m so disappointed in the eye cream for sensitive eyes. I previously used the old formula which was perfect and having switched to the new one my eyes are always runny and the skin underneath them is irritated and bumpy. What a waste of money and now I have to find something to soothe and repair the damage. Do not buy!

very bad

I am so disappointed with this eye cream. After using it, my eyes looked puffy and inflamed. The formula was incredibly harsh; it completely stripped my skin of moisture, leaving it so dry that it began peeling off in small flakes. It was painful and looked awful. Definitely stay away if you don’t want an allergic reaction

The Best Eye Cream

I get eczema on my eyelids and have tried everything to keep it at bay. This is the ONLY thing I have used that actually clears it up. It's super gentle and soothing, a little bit goes a long way. I can't recommend this enough for anyone who gets irritated and dry skin around their eyes. The bonus is that I have noticed less fine lines since using it!

LOVE! Only thing that has helped

I love this product!! I have been struggling with dermatitis on my eyes. My Dr. Prescribed me steroid cream that resolved the reaction temporarily. I decided to try this 2 days ago. My eyes were itchy, red, swollen and so irritated I wanted to cry. After using this for only 2 days 3x a day my eyes seem like they are on their way to healing. They are no longer red or itchy and the swelling seems to be going Away. I love this product so far. The texture is light and thin so I was skeptical but it is so hydrating. I am Canadian and this winter has been harsh so for this to hold up is impressive.

I’m surprised this eye cream is marketed for sensitive skin. I put this cream on at night and in the morning my eyes were so red and swollen shut, one of the worst eye reactions I’ve had in a long time. I get eczema on my eyelids quite regularly but it is manageable with the right products, this is definitely not one of them. I’m not sure which ingredient has caused this but it’s going in the bin. Do not use if you have sensitive eyes.

Awful, irritated my eyes

This product caused my eyes to water uncontrollably and made the skin around my eyes puffy and irritated. It's annoying as it's marketed as something suitable for those with sensitive skin. This is by far the most irritating eye cream I've ever purchased. I would rate it zero stars if I could. Waste of money.

I love all the products I’ve previously bought but this one was the worst for my eczema flare up on my eyelids. Immediately a burning sensation after applying and then my eyes swelled shut. I have sensitive skin but thought I’d be safe because I have used other La Roche Posay products with no issue. It made my eczema worse

Very gentle but won't repurchase until re packaged

Great gentle, hydrating product but super crappy packaging. Out of ten bottles used in the past three years, two have had pump failures upon opening. I had to bust the top off and move the product into a small jar, losing a bunch of product in the process.

What in the Miracle?!

Just tried this cream and I think I have stumbled across a miracle cream!! I get very bad allergies and the skin under my eyes turns a bit reptilian this time of year. Sometimes it takes months to clear up. This cream cleared it up after one application. The second application all the dry skin is completely gone and it’s given back volume and moisture to my skin and now I want to bathe my whole body in this stuff!!

When soothing becomes scaring

I’ve used various La Roche-Posay products for a while and generally trusted the brand. After developing dryness and occasional eczema around my eyes, I chose this cream based on the product description, hoping it would help. But by the second day, I woke up with puffiness, swelling, and irritated skin around my eyes. I bought it in Sweden, where there were fewer reviews and no warnings about reactions like this. If I hadn’t come across the UK reviews afterward, I wouldn’t have realized it was this product—I might have blamed something else. It’s concerning how many people have had similar reactions over the past year, and surprising that the product hasn’t been recalled. I really wish I had checked the UK reviews before ordering.

I wish I thoroughly read reviews on this eye cream. I bought this last week and following the instructions after 1 day my eczema flared up so bad that the skin all around my eyes became exteremely swollen impacting my visibility. I generally have very sensitive skin on my face and have been using the cleanser for this line with no issue. I now have to find a way to resolve this new problem. I do not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin.

Nightmare!

I’ve very sensitive skin and this has been the only eye cream I could use for years. Yet I’ve just ordered a new batch and I’ve had such a bad reaction my eyes are almost swollen shut. From looking at the other recent reviews it looks like they have changed the ingredients, shocking there was no warning on the packet

New Formula causing eyelash loss & skin irritation

I've used Toleriane Eye Cream for many years with no problems, but the latest version seems to have changed. After using a new tube, I woke up with eye irritation and having lost half of my eyelashes—something I’ve never experienced before. The original formula was ideal for my sensitive eyes. I have been using laroche posay for well over a decade and have loved them but this is the second product I have had to stop using in the last year. The other product was the Hydraphase intense light in a pump for freshness, a super light hydrating moisturiser. They new formula is not near as hydrating and is in a tube instead of a pump. All in all I am very disappointed, these were my two favourite products. I hope you will look into reviewing the quality of your new line of products going forward. Regards Gillian ---

Worst eye cream I have ever used

I have used the Dermallergo cream for a few years with no issues on my facial skin, so I figured that this eye cream would be similar and a good neutral moisturizer. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what is in this but it has wrecked my eye skin - it has made my skin red, irritated, flaky, and swollen. I’m not sure what is in this that is so different from the regular cream but beware if you have sensitive skin. I have never reacted to an eye cream like this before and am genuinely surprised something that seems so neutral would make my skin react like this.

This was my go to eye cream. Bought it regularly for the last couple years. And they have recently changed the ingredients. Why change a good thing. Now i have red, dry, sore, swollen skin under my eyes and a new bottle that needs to be binned. Now trying to find anything that will help.

Caused dermatitis

I’ve loved every LRP product I’ve tried EXCEPT for this one. I’ve only used it a few times, and when I started regularly applying it under my eye and around my nose, it caused some sort of contact dermatitis or perioral dermatitis that I am now having to deal with. Based on other reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one. Hopefully they recall this product since it appears to be causing users more harm than good!

Changes Have Ruined It

This was always my go to eye cream. I have eczema, allergies and very sensitive eyes and skin in general. This cream was literally the only thing that worked whenever I'd get a flare up minor or major, it was like magic. My absolute favourite skincare product as my eyes used to drive me insane. The past couple of bottles have been so disappointing. Not only has it done nothing, it now stings and has actually made the area worse. I thought it was just me and I was so relieved when I read reviews and found out I wasn't the only one. You have lost a lifelong customer of this product I'm sorry to say unless it changes. Please take all of the recent feedback into account.

Toleriane Dermallergo Soothing Eye Cream

Really disappointed as the formula appears to have been changed and I can no longer use this. This was the only eye cream that would work for me and I have been using it for years. Eye cream no longer feels as soothing on the skin and my skin is now reacting to this. Will no longer be purchasing.

What has changed

As with others I have noticed a change with this cream. I had eyelid dermatitis and this fixed it - not anymore, it's getting worse and spreading to under the eye where I apply the cream. My eyes are so red and puffy. What has changed in the formula! I have contacted customer care to find out!

Something changed, and it’s not for the best. Have used this regularly for some time and opened a brand new bottle 2 days ago. Within minutes it felt off - and then the burning started. It’s left a mess of my eyes - red burnt blotches. What did you do to this?!

Burning and redness

I have tried so many eye creams and when reading the description for this one I thought I’d found the one but as most of them I applied this and it burned straight away and caused puffiness and redness. I’m disappointed considering it states to be sensitive allergy eczema friendly. It’s a massive shame as I use other la Roche posay products on my face and have no issue but this eye cream and the intense hydrate one both caused swelling.

Caused burning and redness

I use & love other Toleraine products, so was surprised to discover this product causes severe redness and burning on the skin around my eyes. It took 2 to 3 days for the redness to clear up, This is marketed as a product for ultra-sensitive skin -- not sure what ingredient may be causing the reaction I'm experiencing, similar to what some other reviewers have described.

Definitely something wrong with this cream

I have been using la Roche brand for ages. My dermatologist recommended me this cream. Once I started to use it I noticed when I put it on the skin it starts burning my skin a lil bit and I noticed redness around my eyes. It is definitely not right. I don’t know what to do now. My dermatologist is back to another country. I’ve bough this cream in boots.

This product saved me!

For the past year, the skin sround my eyes, inner corners, eyelids, under the eyes, became red, swollen, puffy every 3 weeks and took almost 5 days to go away. Wearing foundation, coverage did not help to camouflage. I realized that it is from mature skin, aging, and my skin changing due to menopause which became very sensitive. It was a chance encounter I saw this product been promoted on a tv program and thought I had nothing to lose to try. I have not had any bouts of what I was experiencing since I have been using this product. The texture of the skin around my eyes has greatly improved as well.....lifesaver!

I started getting milia or some other type of skin issue that looked like milia under my eyes that i think was due to the use of shiseido retinol eye mask. It started few days after i used the mask and didn’t go away. I had tried everything over couple of months and nothing made it any better. Seeing dermatologist in Canada is a long wait and i had to do something about it. A pharmacist advised me to try La roche eye cream for sensitive skin, and for me buying a cream that was not luxury name or expensive, was very hard to believe that it would deliver good results. I gave it a try, and couldn’t believe that my skin was back to normal next day i used this cream. Like in one application, my skin health was back. Since then ( 3 months now) i started changing my skin care products from la prairie and Shiseido to La Roche.

Soothed burning skin

For some reason, with an eye cream i had used for a while, all the skin around my eyes became red and burning and peeling off. I tried various creams for sensitive skin, but my eyes just kept reacting like that. This cream claimed to relieve allergies and sensitivity, and it actually did! My eyes quickly returned to normal. I liked the old formula although it was a little watery, but I was worried when the formula changed in case it didn't suit me and the irritation returned. But in fact I prefer the new formula. I still have no discomfort or sensitivity, and the new formula is more moisturizing but still sinks in easily without the need to rub my eyes – i can just pat it on and it is absorbed quickly. I like the hygienic pump bottle and the convenience of being able to see how much is left. And the design is very effective at minimizing the cream left in the container when you can't get any more out. All around great product for super sensitive skin. I would never use anything else now.

Excellent for Clearing Eczema

I am extremely prone to Eczema and have been all my life, my eye area has been particularly bad over the last number of years. This is the only cream on the market that I have found that cleared my eye Eczema and also now keeps it at bay. I am now on my third bottle of this. I will never use another eye cream again.

Great for stressed skin

I have only recently discovered this cream after using serums around my eye area. When I am in the sunshine for prolonged periods such as on holiday, I find my eye area can become more sensitive, puffy and red. This cream is perfect for those extra stressed times. It is a luxurious creamy texture which taps in easily and is both non greasy and leaves no residue. I’m so happy I discovered it.

This doesn't appear to irritate my eyes. I have slight eczema on my eyelids at times which is red and itchy. Almost every eye cream I've used stings. I've been able to use this for several days with no irritation and the flaky skin has calmed down. I doubt it will improve the wrinkles but it's helping with the dry skin.

Sinks in nicely

This is a lovely eye cream. It’s easy to gently run in without having to drag the skin. It doesn’t clog pores and keeps my under eye skin from drying out.

I started using this about three weeks ago. I have sensitive skin and so I am careful when researching new products. A few days ago I developed a dry patch on my lower lid. I stopped using the product and the dry patch improved. I won’t be using this any more.

Used about a third of this product and loved it but now it won't pump anymore out! Very unhappy as it wasn't cheap and I can't get the rest out. Bottle won't open either. Wasted product.

I have used this product in the past and have recently went back to. I forgot how good it was! I have very sensitive skin and was scared to use anything around my eye area but this has been great. It is very light weight and feels silky on the skin. I have had no irritation and I feel it is hydrating around the eyes well. Would definitely recommend

Simple and safe

I have used this eye cream for more than 6 months and I love it! It's hydrating and soothing on the skin around the eyes, but feels light at the same time. It's a simple product that does its job perfectly. I have sensitive skin and am a contact lenses wearer so I'm glad I can count on this to hydrate morning and night without irritating anything. Works fine winter or summer too. Also works fine under makeup.

A great product

Although eye creams aren’t always necessary, this eye cream is one of the best I have tried. It’s very simple but that is why I like it so much and the thin consistency means it doesn’t ever look overly greasy like some other products I have tried. Highly recommend for sensitive skin!

Toleriane Dermallergo Eyes vs the Original version

Hello, I would like to ask you to please not replace Toleriane Ultra products by Dermallergo. It changes the formula of the products, and makes it worse, as it happened with the Eye Cream. This is only my subjective view, however I have to start looking for another eye creme, as Dermallergo does meet my needs, and it peels off the skin without being even absorbed. I thought, something changed with my skin so Dermallergo does not work, however I was able to get one more bottle of the original version of the creme, and it works perfectly. Therefore, I came to a concussion that the formula change is the only reason. Unfortunately, will need to look for another eye cream, that would do the work that original Toleriane Ultra Eyes have been doing for me for the last 5 years.

The only thing that works

My local chemist recommended this product and to be honest I was at a loss as to what to do next to stop my dry eyes. Driving a car all with aircon on and fans/air con at home has just dried them out. I love this little miracle cream and will continue to purchase. If you have dry, itchy and flaking skin around your eyes please try this you won’t be disappointed.

Toleriane Eye was the perfect eye cream until it was reformulated as Dermallergo. I have sensitive eyes that just won't tolerate most eye products but I loved this until the reformulation. Now it irritates my eyes and to add insult to injury the new version pills under makeup which the original never did. Please bring back the original

I have sensitive skin and I got some serum from a different brand on my eyelid by mistake, it has become very inflamed , dry , puffy and itchy . I left clear for a few days with no improvement , bought this today and within half an hour the discomfort has gone and it feels soothed . Very happy will swap all my routine to this brand now .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice rich soothing cream for the eye area, handy pump dispenser so no wastage or over application. Seems to reduce the puffiness under my eyes first thing in the morning and reduces the look of tiredness.

Hardly any dark circles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoa! It’s been a month or so since I started using this eye cream and the difference is clear. My under eyes are less puffy, and the hyperpigmentation seems to have evened out, leaving the overall appearance of my skin fairly monotone. I love how clinical and kinda innovative the packaging is. With each pump, the sack holding the product seems to squeeze together a little bit more. Also like that you can lock the lid, so no risk of waste.

New formulation not good

Toleriane Eye was the perfect eye cream until it was reformulated as Dermallergo. I have sensitive eyes that just don’t tolerate a lot of eye products but I never had a problem with this until the reformulation. Now it irritates my eyes and to add insult to injury the new version pills under makeup which the original never did. Devastated!

Great for sensitive eyes

The only eye cream I've found that ticks all the boxes. Doesn't make my eyes burn or sting and they feel hydrated all day. I also like the dispenser, you can see how much is left and ut twists to close, good for throwing in a wash bag without leaking.

Nice Cream

I have noticed a huge difference in the area around my eyes since I started using this. You only need a very small amount, less than a 1/4 pump for the area around your eyes.
