I absolutely love la Roche-Posay but this night cream ended up burning my skin.

Quite drying and don’t go far

I found I need to use a lot of this product to get the moisturising feel from it, as a small pump doesn’t go far at all. I suspect the niacinomide in this product is causing my Skin to dry out and forehead feels quite flaky. Not to impressed if I am honest!

Gentle and hydrating

This product on top of Hylau B5 serum is chef’s kiss!!! Favourite evening routine. My skin feels so soft and hydrated upon waking. 10/10 recommend

My go to for years

I have extremely sensitive, thin/transparent, eczema and rosacea-prone skin. This moisturiser is the best. I have tried almost everyone on the market and came back to this. I wear it morning and night. I wouldn't be without it. It's scent-free (thank goodness... I wish La Roche Posay would stop adding scent to some of their serums and other products).and beautifully gentle. I also recommend the Toleriane cream cleanser - another beautiful scent-free product. I literally need things as sensitive as baby products, and most of those irritate and sit on top of my skin. But this is really beautiful. And works great under make up. I hope they never stop selling it. It's my holy grail.

Pas satisfaite

Very irritating for sensitive skin

I usually have good luck with la roche products for my extremely sensitive skin (eczema and rosacea) but this night cream was not a hit. It made my skin itchy and I could feel a burning or tingling right away. I woke up to more inflamed looking skin and scratch marks on my neck from irritation overnight.

Caused irritation

I bought this with the highest of hopes for my sensitive and rosacea prone skin but it caused flare ups and irritation. It also burned a little. I kept using it thinking it couldn’t possibly be this product but after stopping use, my skin immediately calmed down and returned to normal. Maybe it will be a great moisturizer for someone who doesn’t have sensitive skin, but it is marketed for people like me, and I had a very negative reaction.

I have very sensitive skin and this product burns my skin flared up over night I did not immediately blame the product for the reaction but continued to use for several nights thinking it would settle down but it did not it got worse sadly having read the descriptions and the said benefits of the product I have bought 2 day and 2 night boxes of the product but will not be able to use or return either . My sore face made me wonder did the night product contain retinol as I know that this can cause a reaction and perhaps the day product contain SPF as these ingredients can cause problems however they do not appear to contain either ?

Toleriane Dermallergo Night Cream

This cream is awful, it made my skin burn from first use. So disappointed as I use Toleriane serum, eye cream and day cream with no problem. My skin was calm until I used this. i won’t use it again and was a waste of money. not even worthy of one star!

Soothing and Reduced Redness

I recently started using this at night and have not experienced any issues with sensitivity. It feels soothing and goes on quite nicely. In the morning I notice my skin appears less red and has a smooth appearance. I would like to add a product to help with wrinkles as well such as a serum. But I wanted to see how this cream is on its own first. I am hoping it would pair well with a retinol serum and help reduce any sensitivity to it.

Burning.

I put this on my face and it started to burn intensely. I had to wash it off immediately to get relief. This is supposed to be for sensitive skin. Seems quite the opposite

Unfortunately I've had to request a refund for this from the chemist as it started burning my skin and was very sticky after applying. I used to buy this all the time about 2 years ago and never had these issues, it was never this sticky or irritating. Sad :(

Niacamide causes itching

Was persauded to buy this instead of my normal Cicaplast and wish I hadn't - it felt lovely and soothing first use but rosacea patch became itchy and red on continued use. Am sure this is down to the Niaciamide, which it seems many people are intolerant too. Such a pain as it seems to be in so many creams now!

RUINED MY FACE

Considering how great the other products from the range are, I had high hopes for this. 3 days in and my skin is ruined! It's itch and burning me, and I have a horrible rash. I wish I'd come and read the reviews before using. I just assumed it'd be great, and didn't do my due diligence. Avoid this product!!

AVOID - brings your face out in hives

Wish I’d read the reviews of this awful product before buying. I used it for 2 nights and already like so many other reviewers here and on the internet my skin has brown out in itchy painful red rash and hives. Please please if you sensitive skin avoid this awful product. Which is ironic as that’s who it’s designed for.

Too sticky

This night moisturizer is very sticky. I have to remember to put it on about two hours before I go to bed. Otherwise my face sticks to my pillow. Takes way too long to absorb. Even in the morning my face still feels tacky. Won’t buy this again.

Not suitable for me

I bought this product a couple of days ago and could not wait to use it, however I did not get the result that I was look for, I have sensitive skin with redness on the cheeks, well now after using this product the skin on my face came out in a red angry rash and it is very obvious that this product it not suitable for my skin. It would be really great if I was able to buy a small sample before outlaying money for a product with this result and that I can not use

Best night cream I’ve tried

I’ve been using this every night for about 4 months and my skin looks better than it has since I was about 12. I have sensitive skin that has a tendency to be dry and flaky but somehow still oily. I have damage from acne as a teenager as well. This product has really improved my skins texture and appearance. The redness I’ve struggled with on my cheeks and forehead is gone. This cream is a very nice weight and I don’t notice it on my skin like a lot of other night creams. I was concerned with how long it would last because the bottle seems small but I’ve been using it for 4 months and I still have about a quarter of the bottle left, and I apply it pretty liberally to my face and neck. I also really enjoy that it has no scent. I like the packaging; lots of pump bottles don’t let you get the last of the product but this one has a sort of vacuum effect that pulls the inner layer of plastic of the bottle in to get the last of the product. I will definitely be buying this again.

Very happy

I have been using this for around a month now and I am very happy with it. I describe it as "giving my skin a drink". It makes my face feel smooth and soft the next day and doesn't irritate it at all. I love the way it absorbs as well. I have been looking for a good night moisturiser for years. Beautiful product.

Red skin

I bought this Moisturiser a couple of months ago and after first use my entire face turned red. So I stopped for a few days then tried again. Same reaction, fully red face. I thought it might just take some time for my skin to adapt, but I realise it's not my skin that's the problem, it's the cream. This product is marketted for sensitive skin, but did not work for me at all. So disappointed as I do love the brand.

Vraiment pas pour ma peau ultra sensible

J’en ai mis 2 fois et j’ai réagi intensément : enflure du visage , rougeurs et démangeaisons. Je réagi comme cela à l’acide hyaluronique. Il n’y en a pas dans ce produit j’aimerais bien savoir quels sont les autres ingrédients qui me font faire cette réaction.

Could it be giving me pimples

I’m 2 weeks into using this night cream, however as soon as I used it my skin started to break out in pimples! I am 60 years old and never had a pimple in my life! Would this be a sign this product is too rich for my skin? I have not experienced this with any of your other products. I use only 1 pump so I’m not overloading! I am so disappointed! Thank You.

Disappointed

Bought this as I’ve seen positive reviews, sadly after first use my skin broke out in red, rosacea patches. Which I’d like to add, I’ve never had before! My skin is sensitive and dry normally but not normally reactive. I’m puzzled as I know this is good brand, I will try again when my skin has calmed down, in the hope it’s not the product but very doubtful.

Awful reaction

Used this for 3 nights with the hopes of improving my dry and sensitive skin. Bought it as it states it is good for sensitive skin and thought it would work well alongside my retinol. However this product is far from hypoallergenic and is not safe to use on sensitive skin. I woke up with sore red patches all over my face and around my eyes. My skin has never been so dry and red and inflamed since using this product. I stopped using alongside retinol and still the same reaction has appeared. Do not recommend at all and am very disappointed considering this brand is meant to be a safe and kind product for your skin. Literally burnt my face!!

No longer non comedogenic?

I’ve been using this for a while and loving it for my dry sensitive skin, but have recently started getting lots of blocked pores. Reading through the product description and it no longer states that this product is non comedogenic. If that’s the case sadly I can’t buy again.

Pump action too difficult

I agree with others: a wonderful cream for very dry, sensitive skin, but with arthritic ands it is very difficult to pump the cream. I will not buy again.

Changed formula, new one is not good

I bought the old formula for years itt was great. Why did you change it? Acetyl is now one of the last ingredients... New formula is causing problems for my face the other one was perfect. It's a shame you changed it, now I have to find another cream

I tried this product after developing rosacea. I have used other La Roche Posay products for years and this extra calming night moisturiser worked really well for me. It left my skin feeling smooth but not sticky and no sign of dryness or irritation in the morning.

I have sensitive redness prone skin and I bought Dermallergo Night Cream as it seemed perfect for night time use. I also regularly use Rosaliac SPF in the morning, but I am afraid to report that with Dermallergo at night (not combined with any other product) I obtained the opposite result vs what should be expected, ie burning, irritated red face, particularly on the cheeks..

I bought this product 2 months ago and was really looking forward to a new night cream. I am not sure if i am not applying it in the right steps but i have noticed the cream being super sticky and not soaking into my skin. When i go to sleep, i generally sleep on one side and when i wake up that one side i sleep on is completely dry whereas the side that did not touch the pillow is sticky with cream.

Good for texture of skin

I've been using this product for 4-6 weeks now, it looks like it has improved the texture of my skin a bit. I'm going to continue to use it and see the results in more like 3mths. The product is quite sticky though, so it's best that you have a bit of time before putting it on and going to sleep. You'll need to wash your hands after using it.
