Doesn't break me out 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried numerous sunscreen i am really prone to sun burn even on cloudy days especially in my face but most sunscreen block my pores and break me out so when this arrived I was skeptical at first. Super lightweight and great for non makeup days and days I have to wear make up. No white cast, my skin felt hydrated and protected. I wore this on friday last week which was in the midst of a heatwave for my nephews holy communion I was outside in a garden for up to 8 hours and I had no sunburn and best of all I didn't get burned. I have since recommended this to all my friends especially the ones who do sport or work outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great small bottle of suncream, it is very over priced though for the size of it but fits in the bag nicely for those out and about days This suncream is lightweight and didnt leave me feeling greasy after use, nor did it leave any white cast/residue. I found a little bit does go a long way and that my skin felt so protected when I had this suncream on, Overall very great sun cream just a little over priced for size.

My face has never been so sticky or oily! :(

I treated myself to a haul of products from this company, and while most have been fantastic, this "oil control" SPF fluid has been a disaster. It feels thick and gritty to apply, and doesn't spread well at all. I apply it at 8am, and within an hour my face looks stickier and oilier than it ever has! It also clogs my pores really badly and I get little white spots next to my nose and across my chin. I'm really disappointed having spent so much money on it, thinking I was treating myself. I will persist with the other products as they are working well, but sadly this is a big no.

Allergy reaction to this suncream full of chemical

I have always trust la Roche posay cream, but unfortunately this suncream has gave a horrible reaction on my face, redness, burning sensation, acne and oily face. The only thing new that I have added to my routine it was this cream and after using it for 2 days I had a really bad allergy reaction. I went to my dermatologist and she clearly state that it was due to the suncream and it is full of chemicals. These photos are for a few days later but before was extremely red. I am really worried about the amount of chemicals that this product has and this is something that it should be reviewed. I don't recommend this to anyone with sensible skin or even oil prone skin like mine. Now it turn out that my skin from acne oily has become extremely sensitive to this type of product.

It was off!

I have used this before and my skin loves it, consistency was good and got easily absorbed. I purchased it again but this time after shaking it it is just watery, literally like white water, it is clearly off. Because I've used it before I know it's a good product and makes my skin look great for a long time. I'd recommend this unless they have changed the formula to a very watery one, in that case No!

Anthelios UVmune 400 Oil Control is lightweight, non-greasy, totally invisible, blends beautifully on the skin and goes great under or in top makeup . No white cast!

I was so excited to try this 'invisible' oil control fluid. I always find that even sunscreens that promise no white cast somehow manage to leave a slight chalky look. I'm delighted to say that this didn't at all! It effectively controlled my oily spots, without a white cast. No mean feat!

Perfect for sensitive skin

Love this cream and love the Anthelois range. It’s worked so well on my sensitive skin. I love the fact it’s a fluid so it doesn’t feel thick and cakey on your skin. It also doesn’t leave a white cast on your skin either. I prefer my suncream to be factor 50 to this cream is perfect and I would definitely recommend it.

Great spf, I usually get a heat rash but with this spf I didn’t. It absorbed really well without leaving a sticky residue, and the main thing was i didn’t burn whilst using this.

Oil control Anthelios

I received a sample tube. There was barely enough to cover both cheeks. I planned on it being My under makeup primer for another humid day at work. This lotion felt fresh znd cooling. My cheeks held onto my foundation for most of the day. To be fair to the product I'd need to use it on full face for a few days. I've used the original lotion Anthelios and it's excellent.

Lovely sunscreen but fragrance is overwhelming

Really love this for oily skin. I actually find it very mattifying but it just takes about 15 mins for the mattifiying effect to kick in and when it does it lasts for at least 8 hours which is quite the feat for my skin. Also doesn’t seem to bother my eyes much and of course the great UVA protection. I find the fragrance a let down. I prefer fragrance free because I have sensitive skin and also because I find strong smells on my face incredibly unpleasant. This isn’t even a subtle gentle smell, it’s a potent smell that reminds me of wood cleaner. When it gets on my lips it’s even worse. Although I prefer this to the oil control gel-cream in terms of performance and texture the gel-cream is just a more pleasant experience due to it being fragrance free. I really hope they eventually remove the fragrance from this product or offer a fragrance free version!

Seem to irritate my skin..

I love La Roche posay products but this one left me with a slight rash and a slight white cast too.. I am black just for context. I love the toleraine range and have never gotten a rash from the other products I have used but was surprised to see a reaction from this.. also found that my skin was still pretty oily but I think more than anything that’s because it reacted badly to this. It’s not clear but is this product perfumed? Maybe that’s why I reacted badly to it but I’m now concerned or cautious to used any other spf products from this range sadly..

I have sensitive oily acne prone skin and rosacea on my cheeks. I’ve tried a lot of suncreams trying to find one that doesn’t give me a flare up and this is the only one that my skin is happy with!!!!! Indeed it dries matte with no white cast and doesnt leave a greasy oily texture on your skin. I’m on tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide too so it’s important I find a suncream I can wear daily that doesn’t cause irritation. There is a very big difference between this and the antihelios 200ml spray bottle so definitely get this one for your face. I like the container as it’s easy to take on travels though I wish there was a bigger version as well. I wear make up on top and it doesn’t pill. It does however stain white fabrics yellow so just beware!

Persisted & worth it

I wanted to write a review for this product as I wasn’t initially sure it was right for me but now I can’t live without it. As a rosacea sufferer with enlarged pores and a weak skin barrier that needs coverage (but can’t take heavy make) up I’m always conscious of what goes under my make up so I can conceal but also last throughout day. I was initially using Eucerins Dry Touch Factor 50 which is a much more moisturising formula and required thicker coverage on top. It also wasn’t sweat resistant. I switched to this product since starting on the tolerance gel face wash with their thermal water spray (stopping the use of tap water on my sensitive skin as it was drying out.) Initially I used the same amount of make up as I would on top of the Eucerin formula but found that with this product I looked so pale. This is because this formula creates a fantastic almost primer affect which makes your make up sit on top of your skin better. As my skin tends to be oily I was very impressed that my make up stayed put throughout the day on top of this sweat resistant formula. I have gone from putting dots of foundation all over my cheeks when using Eucerin to now simply applying a small dot on the back of my hand, blended with a brush and applied to cheeks (thats half the make up and full natural coverage). I am very impressed.

I love the no white cast and the shine it gives my face. I have blemish prone skin and acne. But this sunscreen causes my acne. So I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who breaks out easily. I guess the oil control is quite misleading

Exceptional protection

I've been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios UV Mune 400 for two years, and it's been fantastic. I trust it immensely for protecting my facial skin. I can really notice the difference on days when I go out briefly without applying it and there is sunlight; my skin tans very quickly even with minimal sun exposure. +Phenomenal sunscreen,-Needs frequent replacement

Impressive - I can confidently say this is one of the best sunscreens on the market. - No white cast - Fresh smell - Unnoticeable - I dare say, my skin feels better overall after use, less oily certainly. However, it is 2024 and this 50ml sunscreen requires replacement too often; people put sunscreen at least once a day - every day - and the amount of waste this creates is outrageous. The brand is famous, one would expect them to take plastic pollution into consideration. Even a 100ml would be better for a higher price. To put this into your mind, the actual bottle is around the length of your finger. I know people who choose not to buy this often due to this reason, it simply is too much money for a 'sample' looking sunscreen that you will have to put in the bin soon enough after buying. Apart from the waste, texture and effectiveness are outstanding.

Keep your skin safe!

I was on holiday in Greece during last summer. The temperature was so high (over 40 degrees) that I had to prepair my skin for any possible sunburn. I have to tell you that this product has done amazing job! Most of my family members that refused to use it was red all over their faces but my face wasn’t burned at all! It has been tanned but the colour was even. Considering extreme weather situations like this one I fully teccoment this product, it will simply protect you. It definitely is worth the price.

Not mattifying!

I have used many sunscreens, and this product I decided to buy as I no longer wanted to use a sunscreen which has a greasy/dewy finish. However this wasn’t it! My face still looks greasy after using this, this is falsely advertised as “mattifying” when my face does not look mattifyed at all! I’ve bought many La Roche Posay products and they’ve all performed well, this was just disappointing.

Amazing texture

I am amăgesc by the texture of this product. It is so soft and it gets instantly into the skin so I don’t have to worry at all if my makeup is going to set well on top of it. It doesn’t make the skin look all white like similar products and it actually works as a moisturiser and primer, not only to protect the skin against sun damage. I suffer with melasma and since starting using this product I didn’t get any new dark spots. So I totally recommend it.

Great protector

I’ve been looking for a great sun protection product for my face for a while and tried quite a few ones. I like this one because it doesn’t leave a white film and absorbs quickly. There is a little bit of shine but I get that will all spf. As this is a fluid There is a tiny bit of coverage but don’t count on it as a foundation, the coverage is minimal. All in all good product. Just as good as the regular one

I love this sunscreen however i found nothing different then the regular Anthelios sunscreen. It does the perfect job for protecting my skin over the summer, i received this product from the tester panel however i repurchased it after i run out just to test it a little longer and in my opinion is the same as the regular version of Anthelios. Still a really good sunscreen that i will continue to use either version of Anthelios.

Good sunscreen

I don't have oily skin but I have been prone to breakouts lately so I decided to try this sunscreen out. It is nice and lightweight and blends in really easily. However, I found it a little irritating for my eyes upon application from the fragrance.

The Best SPF!

I have previously used the Anthelios invisible fluid which I absolutely love! As part of the La Roche-Posay community, I was selected to test this Anthelios oil control fluid and I have to say I’m thrilled with the results. I have been using it consistently as part of my morning routine for the last 2 weeks. It’s a very lightweight fluid that absorbs into the skin beautifully with no white cast. I have oily/blemish prone skin and I’ve had no irritation and no breakouts. It does not make my skin feel greasy and it sits very wel under makeup. I’ve tried several different sunscreens and I have to say this has worked the best for my skin. I would definitely recommend it, if you have oily skin. My new favourite spf!

Great sunscreen for oily skin

I got this product for free from La-Roche Posay community in exchange for my honest review. Anthelios UVMune Oil Control Fluid became my favourite sunscreen as it is perfectly suited for my combination to oily skin. It has invisible, light-weight mattifying fluid texture, which is helping with oily sebum by absorbing it, and making my skin look less oily and more mattified. It seems like that it also reduce the visibility of my enlarged pores. This fluid is quickly absorbed and it’s also sweat resistant, which is absolutely a game changer when you are on 30+ degrees abroad.

IT HAS TINT IN IT EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN'T MENTIONED

Dear, La roche posay I love/loved your products for many years. Sadly, I just purchased these two products based on my past experience with them (which was awesome!) but now i noticed that the ingredients or color has changed. I cannot used these product anymore because the texture is so oily that is impossible for me to get with it. I loved the other ingredients or texture but this one is poorly. Even my t-shirt can say it haha now all my white clothes has yellow spot on the neck area thanks to these sunscreens. PLEASE: Can you confirm these products are legit? Thank in advance.

Spf

So happy with this, it’s a lovely light texture perfect for adding after my moisturiser. Soaks in well and doesn’t make you look greasy or cause spots. You can even put all round the eyes as doesn’t sting or cause irritation! I use it every day now I can’t be without it.

Love the product

My skin doesn't like it

I purchased this a top up SPF throughout the day. But my skin really doesn't like it. I have rosacea and very sensitive skin. My skin goes very red and burns after applying it. Such a shame as and a waste as I can no longer use it.

Doesn’t work

My skin feels like it’s still sizzling when I were this- as though it’s not working. My dad felt the same. The reapplication was far more frequent than any other sunscreen ever used, my skin felt oiler than ever before and it allowed my melasma to darken considerably. It was recommended by a dermatologist but following this I have tried other thicker products, also for sensitive skin, that are zinc based and more effective in protecting my melasma and the general feeling of burning in the sun. My dad doesn’t have sensitive skin but after one use, he wouldn’t use again as he found it not to work like normal sunscreens too.

Very yellow on me

I really wanted to like this, but it has a very yellow tint to it. I don’t wear makeup every day so I can’t camouflage it. It’s unusable. I’ve used La Roche Posay sunscreen for years so I’m very disappointed.

Great, lightweight SPF

This is a nice and lightweight SPF, love the high factor as I have fair skin, it applies easily and absorbs quickly, skin is not left feeling sticky or greasy, very effective sun protection

Perfect for combination skin

Such an amazing product!

SPFs usually make me very oily and sticky. However, this one seems to make me glowy, but not like an oil slick! It also sits really nice under make up and I’ve got oily skin. There’s no change in foundation texture throughout the day.

I really want to love it but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with the positive this leaves ZERO white cast on my dark skin, it also feels amazing in my face, not heavy at all. However the running it is so running for this bottle design. Most of the liquid rolls off my hand. A spray would have been better. I also can’t tell if the usual two fingers worth is the same when it is this runny.
