Disappointed

I brought this in the shade light and I was so excited to try this out, however the shade is completely off. Really dark and orange. I'm really disappointed.

Disappointed 🙁

Used this product before, and it was my favorite tinted sunscreen. Purchased it again a couple of days ago and was very disappointed, the first sign is color dramatically changed, the light version became yellow almost orange ( before was perfect) second consistency is too thick and drying my skin. Don't know what to do with this as I'm a big fan of la Roche, using constantly different products...

By far the best sunscreen I've tried

I love this sunscreen, it really checks all of my boxes: it is very hydrating, I've noticed (after a month of use) that my skin looks more even and has less blemishes, the colour is perfect for my skin tone, I love the consistency it's not too thick, it's not patchy at all, it really blends well with my skintone and looks excatly as it should- like a very light, non-greasy, tinted, hydrating cream. I am more than satisfied with the product- 10/10 would recommend.

Would be better without a tint

Can this sunblock with the same ingredients be created without the added tint of colour? the colour is not the best however it does even out better my skin tone - its too thick to have with colour though- would prefer it without!!

So orange and dark!

I bought it without checking reviews as I trust the brand and had many products before. I thought I could go wrong but I was so mistaken! This is unusable, very dark and orange and super patchy! Even if you try thinner layer it still looks awful. So disappointing.

The product is good, but the color no

I bought this product for an indication to the doctor. I like the texture and the protection, but the color I dislike, because the tone of the light color is very yellow I look like I have jaundice. I think La Roche-Posay could adjust the color of the light option so that the skin could look more natural.

good protection

I bought this cream on the recommendation of Laroche posay expert. The cream has high SPF50 ratios it is very good, its shade creamy, more yellow. good coverage and UV protection, one minus is color. I use a small amount of cream or add extra cream and mix together. Good thick consistency, good absorption for the skin despite the density, a pleasant surprise.

Orange mask!

My husband bought this for me from UK. The cream was very thick and I got an orange mask on my face. I have to wash it off. I guess it could be a good product if the color is right. There is no color guide. One color fits all no matter what!

Covers well

I really like this multi tasking product.It’s great as it cover dark spots really well but also has SPF 50. It contains Niacinamide + A Ceramide + Mineral Pigment which all not only help the skin for a better tone but also covers the pigmented areas. It’s easy to use and blends in well.

Not great

I’ve had countless bottles of Anthelios Age Correct so decided to try this new version. It’s nothing like the original! The colour is very odd, darkish orange and the consistency is really thick and hard to spread. Tried to mix it with a liquid foundation and with a watery cream too but nothing makes that product wearable. Gone in the bin I’m afraid. The Age Correct is unbeatable!!!

Wonderful tinted sunscreen

Wonderful product that has really helped keep my melasma at bay. It blends seamlessly into my golden brown skin. I do wish that it was easier to access in the States. I’m appalled, however, by all of the reviews expressing outrage over the tint being “too dark” or “yellow/orange”. How dare a product (out of countless others that exist) not cater specifically to pale skin. Unbelievable.

Not as described

Products by la Roche Posay are excellent. This product is very poor. I have just bought this, it is a waste of money as the colour is awful. Supposed to be light colour, it is orange, I don’t know who it would suit. Should have bought same product in anti aging. Disappointed! Lynda

Mostly good

I love the formula, feel, and everything about this...except the colour. It's marked as 'light' but echoing the other comments that this too dark/orangey to use on its own. I've solved this by mixing the product with another colourless sunscreen to thin it out and make it more sheer. It's not a perfect solution, but I'd hate to waste an otherwise decent product.

Great product, horrible color

I love everything about this product, accept the tint, it’s to dark and orange toned (referring to the tinted version for light skin). I would love it if they came out with a broader range of tints for lighter and darker skin tones. Or possibly non-tinted version.

Terrible tint

I wanted to like this product. The formula texture is nice however the tint made me look orange (I have more of an olive skin tone) and gets all over the sink and clothing. I was hoping it would have been more sheer and less like a foundation. Thankfully I also purchased Anthilios UV400 which I use regularly.

This a positive review for this product

I have been using Anthelios Pigmentation creme teintee for a few years now and find it an excellent product. Using it on my arms which suffered a drug related sun reaction a few years ago. This cream covers the odd pink bits and provides a natural colour to cover too. It works best with a good body moisturiser on first and probably would be the same for facial use too so that is applies smoothly.,

Diffiult to rub in

This is the first time I have used this brand for a facial suncream. The first time I used it I thought I had applied it to soon after my moisturiser. Alas, this is not the case even after 3 hours between layering up, I can not rub it in. When applied, the orangey colour does not suit my skin tone and it is extremely patchy. Clearly, the formulation is not correct. The harder you rub it, the more piling happens

Not a universal sunscreen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love La Roche Posay. I have been using their skincare and sun care products for over 7 years. This is the only time i have been disappointed with a product. I was interested in trying a tinted sunscreen, in order to protect my skin whilst skipping make up. I always use the recommended two finger rule when applying facial sunscreen. I followed this rule when dispensing this product for the first time. As i was expecting it to be a lightweight tint, i applied it in the usual way i apply sunscreen What a mistake - I looked in the mirror, and was shocked to see how orange and patchy i looked. I have tried this product using various application techniques, over a number of weeks in order to give a constructive, fair review. I am sorry to say, this product is not for me. The texture is thicker than many foundations. The colour is only suited to medium slconplexion with a yellow undertone. (I have a light complexion with pink undertones.) The product is so thick that it clung toand magnified any skin texture, dry patches or blemishes. The only way to get it to work for me was to apply it so lightly, that there would not have been enough sun care benefit. I really wish i had more positive things to say, but i could not get this product to work for me.

Sunscreen protection + a bit of colour!

If the product also respects sensitive skin, then it is a perfect combination. The composition of this cream is great. The tone was a bit pale for me so perhaps new tones will come soon ;) It promises helping to minimise the appearance of dark spots. I still need to use it for some extra months to really notice the effect but sun protection was fantastic.

Does work in reducing pigmentation

Lightweight coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been waiting to review the spf with tint as I got this for going on holiday to a very hot country. I am happy when sunbathing not to have a makeup on, but when exploring or out and about I like to have a tint so my face looks smoother but still has the spf coverage. It’s very light in terms of the weight of the tint, it didn’t feel like I was wearing any makeup (tint). The spf side of things was also good, I didn’t burn so that’s good.

Pigmented SPF

Goid tinted sunscreen

Colour will a bit dark for colder months but for summer it' alright as I like to tan a bit. I also like the addition of niacinamide and glycerine as they help the skin.

Makes imperfections disappear

A nice alternative to foundation for the summer months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have applied the pigment corrector on days where I didn’t want to wear foundation- beach days/ weekends/ walking and days where I have attended Teams calls rather than being in the office. I made the mistake of applying too much product at first, I definitely didn’t need a full pump to cover my face, a little goes a long way! It’s great to see exactly where you’ve applied the product due to the tint, so no missing any areas. It gives a good coverage, hiding minor blemishes and thread veins. I also found it gave a nice glow to the skin. It does feel a little claggy when first applied and I found it needs to be rubbed in well- I used my fingers to start, followed by a brush to finish. I also found that it transferred if I touched my face and then any clothing but after about half an hour it settled and wasn’t a problem. I would suggest making sure your skin is moisturised/hydrated, as it did seem to highlight any dry patches for me. I wore this on a few sunny days, in strong sunshine and didn’t catch the sun at all, excellent protection. All in all a nice product and a nice change for days when you don’t want to use foundation. I used eyeshadow, blushes and a bit of bronzer over and they all sat well on top.

Lightweight with enough tint

Anthelios BB cream

Difficult product to work with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is extremely pigmented, definitely not an average "tinted" sunscreen. Because of the high pigment ratio I had hard time making it work for me because it didn't match my skin colour. If I wanted to use the correct amount of sunscreen it would leave me looking orange, if I used a tiny amount with a moisturiser then it wouldn't give me the desired 50+ SPF. The only way I could make it work for me was to use it with another sunscreen to make a "tinted" sunscreen for myself. I am surprised they only sell it in one colour since it's so pigmented. My review could have been different if it would have matched my skin tone better. The texture of the product feels nice and dries down nicely leaving skin looking not shiny but natural (if I exclude the colour)

Sadly not for me

I’ve got about 5 SPFs on rotation at the moment but I always find myself gravitating towards LRP because I TRUST the brand. I know I will get proper, real protection with any of their sunscreens. If you're looking for a summer substitute for foundation, this is a great option that also protects your skin from UVA/UVB rays. However, it can be slightly dark so I'd avoid if you're very pale.

Feels nice, but the colour runs too pink for me

Albeit on the neutral side, this sat quite pinky on me, so I couldn't really wear it without being obvious about wearing a pigmented product. That said, the cream feels quite nice, sinks right in, doesn't feel heavy, and if your skin runs on the pinkier side, it would probably be fine.

A great base, multi tasking product I’ll go to all Summer long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was dubious of this at first, straight out of the tube for a light colour, it is on the dark side, but once I blended it into my already moisturised skin it really didn’t look at all scary! It evened out my skin tone nicely, and provided a nice even coverage and a touch of warmth. I’ve been using it instead of a tinted moisturiser or foundation on warm days, and just using a little concealer on top. I can see me getting a lot of use out of this going into the summer months. And a little spreads far which helps justify the price point. Also doing the job of two or three products, and saving time and effort when on holiday, or just when it’s getting hot and I’m not wanting too many layers in my routine. My skin is very fair so I think a very light tone would be appreciated when I don’t have a slight tan as I currently do though. I think anyone lighter than me would struggle to colour match this. As for the pigmentation, I feel it’s too early to tell, I mean it covers my existing pigmentation well, and hopefully will prevent further damage. But I feel it’s too soon to tell the difference vs the sun protection I was already using.

Creamy, comfortable and perfect for no make up days

Good for body but go easy on the face..

I couldn’t use on my face ( nor would I want to) but I used on legs and arms and exposed areas. I appreciate it’s not technically a body make-up but that’s what I used it for. Overall okay Mc

Greatly disappointing product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a tinted cream light tone just a couple of time because it's terrible to try more. Firstly is worryingly dark it doesn't blend well with the tone of my skin at all. On application feels oily but difficult to spreed on the face, gets into every wrinkle on my face and pores, leaves feeling of face mask on with the orange tint in the hairline. I would not recommend to buy it it is a huge disappointment and quite possibly waste of money.

Too dark for my skin tone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used Anthelios Age correct for over a year, I was looking forward to trying Anthelios Pigment Correct. Unfortunately it’s very orange for my skin tone and therefore I am unable to use it. Tried on my hand so I can show you the colour.

Too thick and too orange tint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this once and found it really thick to apply and not easily absorbed, I don't wear makeup and found the tint to be too orange and it emphasised and wrinkles and fine lines. it has a really good UV protection rating but a shame the colour is so orange and texture is so thick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] La Roche Posay have come up trumps again. This is an amazing product, sunscreen and tinted skin corrector all in one, I am able to protect my face and even out my skin without using a foundation which never work in the heat. This product was worth its weight in gold on my recent holiday as it is all I needed and worked well omtop of my usual moisturiser.

Not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this product didn't suit my skin at all. It left a shiny film that looked very unnatural. It felt too greasy for me even though I have a dry skin. I'll try it again, perhaps need to use less.

Great coverage

Radiant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed at how lovely my skin looked with this cream. It looked really even and I didn’t have to use concealer under my eyes. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. Only a small application is required as a little goes a long way. It’s such a good cream and makes your skin look radiant that you wouldn’t even need to use foundation or powder in my opinion. The only thing I would say is that I have a slight dry patch on my cheek and the cream didn’t moisturise this. Therefore it’s best to put a moisturiser on first if you have any dry areas then the cream. This is the only reason I rated a 4 and not 5. However I will continue using this product and rebuy once finished. I am pleased with this cream and highly recommend.

Great concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the idea of skin products also having high factor sun protection in them. That combined with a tint seemed like the perfect product for me as I don’t like heavy foundation and was looking for a tinted moisturiser for the summer. However, the shade was a bit too dark for me personally and wasn’t moisturising enough for my very dry skin. Hope they bring out other shades soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been asked to review this product as a part of skin counsel. Unfortunately, it is not my favourite one and personally the tint makes me look jaundice. Not keen on the consistency and application either. I have applied medium pea size to cover half of my face, so that i could make a good comparison. This was too much. It feels heavy on my skin however it does cover and correct pigmentation. My face is full of freckles and it was perfectly covering them, allowing for more even skin tone.

Helps even out hyperpigmentation!

As someone who suffers from blemish prone skin and has had acne in the past, the slight tint this SPF offers really helps to even out any hyperpigmentation I have and makes me feel more confident!

Multitasking marvel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic suncream for those suffering from hyperpigmentation or melasma. This cream applies beautifully leaving skin feeling soft and nourished, but not sticky. The tinted formula really does even out skin tone and easily passes for a summer foundation. This would be idea for travel, acting as a 3 in 1 moisturiser, SPF and foundation. I haven't been using it long enough to say if it reduces pigmentation, however I feel confident wearing it that it is doing it's job in preventing any more. Highly recommend.

Too dark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m sure as a sun screen this is perfect but as previous reviewers have stated it is highly tinted & not suitable for the usual English pale complexion. I’m hoping the colour will blend better once I can get some natural colour to my skin. I have only been using for a week & my usually sensitive & reactive skin has not had any reaction to this product. It provided good moisturisation throughout the day but I did feel a little too glowy & shiny. The product is quite thick & does not blend easily. I’m going to put it away in my cupboard for now & give it another go once our summer arrives.

Great for my skin

The anthelios pigment correct is just what I was looking for, it moisturises well and evens out my skin tone and hides my blemishes. Can highly recommend this product

All in one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not often do you find an all in one with such high SPF. The pigment correct side works ok, nothing to write home about. The matt SPF lasts all day though and has a high star rating to set it aside from makeup companies throwing an SPF into a BB cream

The perfect day base

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the coverage of this product and could happily use everyday. Tone match to my skin tone was accurate, it works as the perfect base for my day make up and knowing it is an SPF is an added bonus. Skin tone looks even and refreshed and feels silky soft. It doesn’t feel like an SPF, more of a moisturiser / foundation. I love it!

Lovely coverage but lots of time needed to blend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product gives a really lovely coverage if you have plenty of time to do the much needed blending of the colour. The texture is nice and smooth but I would suggest the best way to use this is to add a small amount to your normal SPF cream, which still gives a nice coverage/colour, without having to blend so much. My very sensitive skin behaved itself after application.

Another nice sunscreen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another lovely sun cream from LRP. I have only used it for a week, hence the two star rating. Because it helps prevent and reduce sunspots, as well as evening skin tone, I would really like to use it for a while longer to see if it makes a difference, before rating it fully. However, it has a nice texture and sits well over my moisturiser. I normally use anthelios factor 50 hydration sunscreen, which I love, so this will need to be exceptional to match up with that product.

Darker than expected but gives a smooth, even finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been meaning to try a tinted sun cream and usually use the anthelios invisible fluid so was pleased to find this one. I am not normally a foundation wearer and the colour was darker than I was expecting so I wasn’t initially sure about it. However, it blended in well and friends said it gave me a very even skin tone so I have continued and got used to it now. I have very dry skin so do find I need a good moisturiser on first but that probably wouldn’t be the same for someone with a different skin type.

Heavy Coverage Sun Protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Anthelios Pigment Correct as a product review. This cream was very thick but a pea sized amount was enough to cover my face. The coverage was too heavy and matt for my skin, and it settled into my pores, but I can see it working for those who need extra coverage. Saying that the cream was thick and coverage heavy, it did not feel heavy on my skin once it had sunk in.

Great product but colour not a match for me

Lovely product, but too dark in colour for the fairest skin types

However, I have extremely fair skin, and the colour of the product was too dark - like using the incorrect colour of foundation. I am sure it would be perfect for certain other skin types though.

Like a light foundation

Issues with the tint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this to be quite thick and hard to apply. The tint is too dark for my very pale skin which was an issue becuase this is pretty pigmented (like a foundation almost), so I think it needs to be a near-exact colour match. I have previously loved other sun creams in this range though, and had no reactivity issues.
