Amazing product

It is simply amazing I have blemishes on my back and tried so many products like sand and salt scrubs, soaps and body brushes - nothing worked. I thought Effaclar while traveling in Portugal abcs fell in love with it. It quickly cleared my back from all pimples. Blemishes faded and ended up going my away fully within days. I will not stop using it for anything.

My skin got irritated

I bought this so i could have better complexion and remove my acne scars and been using this product for 2 weeks now. When I wake up the other day my face started to get itchy but I just let that go and today when i wake up my face and eyes was swollen and red and burning I could not go out without a face mask.

What is the difference between the Effaclar Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel Cleanser and the Effaclar + M Foaming Gel Cleanser? I bought both, but should I only use one or the other? When is the proper application for these products? Thank you!

It works

I love this product so much. I have been using it for a month and I can see fantastic results already. It leaves my skin clean but not dry and all my acne has calmed right down. I’m so happy.

Not good

Wouldn’t recommend Says it’s for oily skin yet my skin which is combination has never been more oily since using this I’ve been using twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening along with the clarifying lotion. Around 30 minutes after using this my face is super oily Waste of money

Balanced skin

I brought this micro peeling gel to give my facial skin a deep cleanse and to get rid of dead skin cells. This gel dies a great job at doing this. After use my skin feels refreshed and balanced. This gel wash is gentle on my skin and does not leave it tight or dried out. I have oily combination skin and this is only tested on oily and acne prone skin. It removes excess sebum which is one of the causes of oily skin. My skin feels and looks more balanced after use, I have also noticed I have less breakouts to. I use it at night for a deep cleanse 2 to 3 times a week. I wet my skin, massage it in, then wash it off, patting my skin to dry it off. The contents incudes 2% Salicylic acid and LHA so you can exfoliate without it rubbing your skin too hard. It has a nice thick consistency and a slight fresh smell.

Greatly reduced and controlled my breakouts

I have a similar experience to an earlier reviewer re: hormonal adult acne at 30. Before my hormonal acne, I previously had issues with dry skin, so I was a little worried about picking this product up and ruining my moisture barrier. Very pleased to report I haven’t experienced stripping, and while my hormonal issues are ongoing, this wash has significantly improved and helped control the acne. I started alternating between my gentle cleanser and this one every second day in the first couple of weeks and have worked my way up to nightly (and morning sometimes if I have a workout). I’ve only been on it for about 5 weeks now so I have a long way to go, but I’m sure there’ll be increased benefits over time in tandem with some prescriptions to tackle the underlying hormonal issues.

Causing purging, however I can really feel it work

I bought this just a week ago and have been using it day and night. I’m 18 years old and have suffered from chin acne for a while now however, it was never as bad as it is now. I had lost all hoe and decided to buy the entire effeclar routine. Whilst the deep cleanse causes purging in my skin, I can really feel it working and tough blemishes I have had are fading away. Great cleanser

I bought this cleanser three weeks ago and I really like how fresh and clean my skin feels. I have been using it once a day, however after using it for a couple of weeks I started noticing some dry patches and redness around my eyes, nose and lips and some tiny red bumps too. Should I reduce the frequency or stop using it completely?

Perfect!

I have oily skin with enlarged pores and blackheads. The gel helps me a lot to keep my skin in good condition. I use the gel twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, I lather a little gel in wet palms and apply it on my face - I wash my face and rinse with water. Game Changer

My dermatologist recommended this wash twice daily in conjunction with the Effaclar duo plus moisturiser for my new onset adult hormonal acne (I’m 30). I can’t begin to explain how good this wash is. My skin is usually very oily and acne prone and it’s helped control the cystic acne around my mouth and chin dramatically in just 3 weeks! Lovely cleansed skin with Effaclar Micropeeling Ge

I have been using Effaclar Micropeeling Gel cleanser for a few weeks and I am happy with the results. I have used it mainly for facial cleansing to help with occasional breakouts. I have combination skin so I get the oily T zone which can lead to black heads and blocked pores. Since using the gel cleanser my skin has been a lot more matte and refined. After using my skin is squeaky clean and feels really fresh and invigorated and it has now become a staple in my skincare routine. I have not had any reactions or allergies whilst using the micro peel and I would recommend.

GAME CHANGER!

I have serious acne-prone skin and someway somehow, this cleanser just has my acne under control. I’ve struggled looking for the right products for a while but this effaclar line is just so gooooood! I use this cleanser with the effaclar duo + and my skin has never felt smoother. It’s a bit strong though so I’d advise using it on alternating nights with your usual cleanser or even just thrice a week.

Best product I’ve ever tried

Absolute HG for reducing sebaceous filaments

I love this face wash, it has been the only thing I have ever used that has helped with sebaceous filaments on my nose. I have tried so many products and blackhead treatments (before I knew what a sebaceous filament was I thought that's what they were) to minimise them but with no luck..until I used this!

Tackles sebaceous filaments!

I have had sebaceous filaments (not blackheads, but similar) all over my nose as long as I can remember and no product, except for clay masks, have helped. I have used lots of different types of face wash over the years with no real improvement so I was pleasantly surprised that this face wash has actually removed them! Miracle! Only thing I would mention is it is a little drying around the eyes so would use a seperate eye makeup remover.

Another fave LRP product of mine <3

I've been using this gel wash daily since receiving it. I love the fact it doesn't leave my skin (face or body) overly dry or tight, which normally is the case with washes and cleansers for oily skin. In fact my skin feels clean, smooth, and my pores are noticeably smaller!! It helps keep those pesky breakouts at bay and has really helped with my shoulders and back reducing frequent breakouts and calming my skin. I highly recommend the larger bottle, as it's a generous size with a handy pump, perfect to keep in the bathroom.

I have combination mature skin, and as far as I read, this cleanser wasnt the best option for me, but I bought it anyway. I was looking for something that cleanse deep and well, and this product surely is doing the best job possible! Is not drying my skin too much, it feels fresh, and I love the refreshing sensation after using it. The skin is so clean, and perfectly prepared for the rest of the skin care regime. I love it! This is already a potent active cleanser, why adding things like Menthol which may increase irritation and sensitivity? Otherwise, it can be a great formula.

Can't believe how well this has worked....

Must admit to be the big 50 next year.... I have suffered with my skin all my life trying various different brands for problem skin, but they all seemed too harsh. The Micropeeling gel is amazing my skin has never felt and looked so clear... I do still have some marks and a few problem areas but I am sure that with continued us, these will improve. My 16 year old son has also started to use as he does suffer from face and body breakouts and we have seen a big improvement. Thank you.

Strong and effective

Also, it stung my eyesa bit so I had to be extra careful when using it. I have extremely sensitive eyes so it's probably me, not the product. Worked for my Keratosis pilaris

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for around 6 weeks now and I've seen a massive improvement to the Keratosis pilaris on my arms. I use it in the shower 2-3 times per week without applying any other creams post shower and there has been a noticeable improvement. My partner has also applied it to his bacne which has also improved. Would definitely recommend this product. One thing to note is that the scent is quite chemical, not so pleasant, but it wont stop me using it as it does the job well.

Perfect face wash for those who suffer with problem outbreaks

Was pleased to receive this cleanser for review as I regualy use the effclar + moisturiser and find it really effective. Was a bit worried that it might be too drying too use on all my facial skin with it being foaming, but this hasnt been a problem. It really seems to have kept breakouts more under control, and calmed existing redness and swelling even seeming to reduce those horrible under the skin spots. Its ideal to use in the shower to wash my face, neck, chest, shoulders and back. A little lathers up a long way so i can see this lasting a long time. I’ve been please with the results so far and it seems a nice addition to using the efficlar + to keep breakouts in check. And hopefully prevent more going forward.

Really good

But to compare the 2 I prefer this one as i like the way it foams and works faster as you start seeing a difference in a few days. I usually the ordinary version of this in a serum but as it is not available I like this at the moment. I like the fact it has 2% salacylic acid in a wask which in the price range is really good and unlike the ordinary it does not stay on the skin as it is a wash.

Refreshing as a lemon

Perfect Peel

Great Purifying Gel Wash

It has micro-exfoliating properties that unclog pores and cleanses the skin without feeling any abrasion or friction. The gel has a nice scent, though I couldn't detect the menthol in the product, it's lightly foaming and a little goes a long way. Good occasional skin boost

Perfect for backne!

My new favourite LRP product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this may be my new favourite LRP product and I'm already a big fan! I expected it to feel like I was using micro beads but it's just like a typical foamy facewash. Skin feels tingly and fresh afterwards. I've been using this for a week and red marks from where I've had previous spots have faded significantly. I've had two spots early on but these went really quickly. Very impressed with this product.

Great face saving wash

I lather it all over my face, neck, shoulders and top of my back and leave it on for a few minutes I have noticed a huge difference in my bacne and face, it is clearing up effortlessly

Works so well on hormonal skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use the effaclar gel wash, which I love. My skin is pretty good, but my tzone is oily, and I get hormonal breakouts each month. This means I can get little white spots around my nose. Since using this gel, I have noticed less white spots during monthly breakouts. The skin on my nose seems more refined. I use the micro peeling gel wash at night as part of my double cleansing routine. I still use the effaclar gel wash in the morning to refresh after sleep. I love how they work together to keep breakouts at bay. I have sensitive skin, and this doesn't cause any flare ups or redness. My skin feels clean, but not tight or stripped of oil after use.

Refreshing

Love the smell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rather than using it on my face, where I think the Effaclar lotion,mask and cream are doing brilliant job, I have concentrated my effort on my husbands back. His skin is very soft and smooth, with very deep and hard to get blocked pores. He has used it 3 times now and Yes, it works! The nasty stuff is slowly coming out and is clearing the back from all the impurities. His routine at the moment is to use it every other day in conjunction with Lipikar shower gel between as he is very prone to eczema. I would like to come back to my review after good 2 weeks and add to it with some photos,if possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for around a couple of weeks now and it's just what I needed! I thought it would dry my skin out but it hasn't- it's also surprisingly light and I have noticed a little less acne outbreaks occurring which is great! The one downside is that it smells a little chemically but that's not a problem for me and you'll get used to it! So far so good!

Don't be scared!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little concerned that anything with the term micro-peeling may have been too harsh for my sensitive skin. I tried it out on a small area first and was happy that there was no reaction. It felt cleansing and as it says purifying. I will certainly use it for areas of concern but possibly on a weekly basis.

Seems to really work for my skin

Silky soft

Skin feels very smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this as I have dark spots on my upper back after suffering acne last summer. I've tried lots of different treatments but nothing has worked. After using this for a few days I've noticed my skin felt very smooth. The scars are still there but I'm hoping after continued use these will fade. However the main downside of this product is the smell. I'm not keen on the smell of this but if it works in combating my skin then I will definitely continue to use this. The packaging is also very attractive - I love the colour - and what I love most is that I can leave it in the shower and know I have a product that has a multi-use for face and body.
