I used it on a friend who raved about it. Since she has sensitive skin , it’s hard for her to find a good product that won’t irritate her skin. I wasn’t impressed; it didn’t absorb well , and my skin felt sticky.

Amazing Product

Glad I tried a sample first

I wasn't overly impressed and is not a product I would buy after trying the sample. I found it to be quite greasy when applied and took a few minutes to absorb. Once it did absorb into my skin it did leave a soft feeling but not overly so. I've tried cheaper products with better results.

Excellent - helped calm a bad retinol reaction

It didn’t do much for me!

I had tried a sample and it didn’t do much to my skin! I got a oil blemish prone combination that tends to get redness too and using this went okay on the skin, it took a bit long to absorb and didn’t notice any difference.

Change formula ?

The product used to be amazing and rehydrate skin. Last month my skin has come out itchy blotchy and bumpy and stopped using other products to check. Has the formula changed ? I just changed to another dispenser and no difference.

Great product but bit spenny

I normally don’t leave reviews for products however I’ve been using this moisturiser for a couple years now and it is seriously the only one that works for me. I normally don’t believe other reviews when they say this but my skin is such a diva (to put it nicely) and this product actually works. I’ve had very dry and sensitive/reactive skin all my life thanks to eczema and this moisturiser is so good at keeping a flare up at bay and soothing my skin when one does occur. I’m also reactive to paraffin which is found in many drug store moisturisers but thank god not this one! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the bottle is pretty small and the price point is a bit on the expensive side for me (especially as I’ve been a financially struggling student the past couple years). I’ve tried to find cheaper alternatives but this one is the only moisturiser that works for my skin, unfortunately for my bank account. Also because of the design of the bottle, there’s always a little bit of product left in the bottle once it’s ‘finished’ and you can’t get every last bit out as it’s stuck in this bag thing inside *(see photo). I think if La Roche Posay were to make the bottle bigger/change the design )so you could use ALL the product) and a bit cheaper I’d be buying this moisturiser in bulk! And maybe more people would purchase it cus it is a really good product just not very financially accessible for most people. Hope this helps anyone!

Not as good as older formula

Is this a newish formulation? The old formula that i used a number of years ago was great. It was so calming and comforting and reduced any redness. I'm wondering if it's the squalane. My skin doesn't like squalane and I swear the older formula of Toleriane cream didn't have it but had a great amount of shea butter which my skin loves and highly tolerates. Now my skin goes red and feels hot after application. It is still very rich and moisturizes well.

Love the cream, hate the bottle

Sorry for the bad rating as there is nothing wrong with the actual content, I’m happy with Toleriane product in general but please, the design of the bottle needs to change! It’s now the second one I bought that doesn’t work properly. I had to throw one half way through its use, and now for this one im trying to shake like mad in order to get some cream! It’s very frustrating!

Not for dry sensitive skin

So disappointed. I love the La Roche Posay sun cream so thought I’d try this moisturiser. I have somewhat dry, sensitive skin. What I didn’t realise is that quite a lot of the ingredients in this are comedogenic and block pores. Within 3 days of use, my skin was red, irritated and forming spots. Really upsetting given the price. :(

I have extremely sensitive reactive skin and when i saw this was interested if it would help. I have to say 2 weeks in and my skin has not flared up. It feels smooth and calm i have been using morning and night. I have also been able to use my Retinol and other serums without any redness or reactions.

Moisturizing but not for my sensitive skin

I could see this working well for a lot of people, but the regular Tourlaine works better for me. This version caused my rosacea to flare (on my cheeks). I’ve also been experiencing breakouts on my forehead, which is unusual for me. Such a shame, as I went back to La Roche Posay after having some rosacea flare-ups from other products.

Soothes dry skin

This is a lovely light cream which applies easily to the skin and is absorbed quickly . I used this on a dry patch I had on my neck and it didn’t irritate the skin at all and the roughness of the skin improved over a few applications . My skin felt soft and hydrated where I had applied it. It’s definitely a product I will keep handy to use.

As I have combination skin, I sometimes have really dry and sensitive under eyes, so have been using this as an eye cream at night to help hydrate my skin. It has really helped soothe the area and is now super soft and hydrated, highly recommend

Awful stuff

This moisturiser is awful! I have a bit of red skin on my cheek which is quite reactive to products. After researching and your advice on chat I bought this product hoping it would calm my skin and not make it worse. Unfortunately my reactive patch of skin is bright red and the rest of my skin feels dry and not moisturised! Hopefully my skin will have calmed by the morning! Very disappointed.

My favourite cream

This is one of my must have product throughout winter months. I use it together with toleriane dermallergo night cream for instant dry skin relief. Both creams leaves my skin hydrated and reduces redness associated with eczema.

The old formulation was much better

I purchased this and it's not the greatest. The old formulation was lighweight, no breakouts. This one makes me look pale and doesn't seem as lighweight, it's heavier. Old formulation worked wonders.

Pro - Good formula. Amazing packaging! Contra - Irritated my eyes. I have to avoid around eyes area even through cream was supposed to use there. I found it a bit too thicken. So I use it on well wet skin. Confusing - In the description on internet page cream was described as "for normal to dry", but on packaging as for " dry to very dry" Feels a bit greeazy on my normal skin.

Made me break out :(

I bought this product as I was looking or a new moisturizer and I saw so many greart review so thought Id give it a go. I have quite sensitive skin which can be a bit tight and red so I thought this would be a safe bet. After using it for a few days I started to get red under the skin spots which I hadn't previously had. I continued using it as I thought it could just be my skin adjusting to it but after using for two weeks had to stop as I now had multiple areas on my face with these red rash like spots. Very disappointed as I really hoped it would work :( still on the hunt for a moisturizer that works
