Have the ingredients changed?

I've used this moisturiser for a long time, although my new bottle seems different. Previously it applied well and made my skin feel smooth and moisturised. The new bottle applies well but leaves almost a 'sticky' residue, so doesn't feel absorbed and smooth. Have the ingredients changed?

It Does Not have ALCOHOL DENAT in it !!!

Just a correction for people who may be put off by the ingredients list. The list is completely wrong 😑 I ordered two of these with trepidation as I have used this product for many years And it’s the ONLY moisturizer I can use on the peri oral dermatitis on my face I guessed it was the wrong ingredient list and both my moisturisers arrived WITHOUT any change of ingredients As everyone with dermatitis/ rosacea/ sensitive skin knows we check ingredients with a fine tooth comb And this mistake on the website may put a LOT of people off buying a fantastic product

Nice light moisturizer my skin tolerates

Not for oily skin

Ridiculous that this is advertised as being for oily skin as its so unbeliveably greasy. It also has shea butter in it which should never be in a product for oily skin. Broke me out really bad. There's a similar one only available in the US called Toleriane oil-free Sensitive Fluide and that seems like it would be perfect for oily skin (no Shea Butter) wish it was available in Aus stores. I've noticed the US has better versions of la rosh posay products with better ingredients/formulations.

Soothing

This lightweight moisturiser is perfect if you get an oily t-zone and dry cheeks. If you’re dealing with extreme dryness, it probably won’t be enough on its own and you will want to consider a heavier moisturiser instead.

Great product but the pump gets clogged

I love this product so much, but it's so hard to justify the cost when the tube is so small and the pump frequently gets clogged and half of the product ends up on the floor because it sprays everywhere. I just finished a bottle today and I will not be purchasing it again.

Wrong product included in kit

I love these kits because I'm a big fan of the toleriane line and my sensitive skin loves the fluid formulation. I ordered two kits, and one of them came with the creme formulation even though the box says fluide. Not sure if it's worth sending back since I need a moisturizer now and stores will be closed over the holidays, but I am disappointed to have received the wrong product. Hopefully the thicker cream doesn't break me out over the holidays.

I have dry, sensitive, acne prone - and this is the only moisturizer I have tried that works. It has transformed my skin. Im on my 5th bottle of this and do not plan on changing moisturizers. I do find it CAN look a little oily if you put too much on, I find 2-3 pumps is good for my face - if you wear makeup, just let it sit for 5-15 minutes before applying that way it doesn't pill.

Dissapointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it thinking I had found a solution for the skin on my face, since I have atopic dermatitis and my skin is always itchy and breaking out. I followed the product's instructions and applied the cream on my cheeks and on the mustache area, which in my case is a bit sensitive. Immediately, it started to burn and itch. The next day, the mustache area began to peel and form scabs-nothing like that had ever happened to me before. It even irritated part of my upper lip; eating or even smiling was painful. It's supposed to be a moisturizing liquid for sensitive skin, and I bought it specifically for that reason after seeing so many good reviews. Even cheap moisturizers from other brands were less harsh on my skin, and that's saying a lot.

Reformulated to include alcohol

I’ve been using this for years on my extremely sensitive rosacea skin but I’ve just noticed they’ve reformulated it and the second ingredient is denatured alcohol!! Please tell me why something previously approved for allergies now has alcohol in it which is extremely irritating and drying. So gutted.

No longer for sensitive skin

It's taken me a while to realise this moisture is causing the rash on my face, it wasn't until the skin on my hands was stinging & I needed to wash it off, that the penny dropped. The previous formula was wonderful, no problems at all and I've been using the full range of Toleriane products. Why change from the previous formula? Bring it back. Now I need to look for a new range!

Not what I expected from LRP

Disappointed to say the least. I assumed it was fragrance free... it's not. Irritated my problem skin, unlike other LRP products. And after 3 uses the pump stopped working! So now I can't even use it on my neck, chest, or hands! Lid doesn't screw off do can't access product that way. Just awful all the way around. I've switch a lot of my skincare to LRP over the past year based on word of mouth... hope this is the only lemon :/

Love this product

I’m using this as a moisturizer underneath the B3 serum I got from Vichy and so far it’s been effective and it feels good on my skin. It is also lightweight which is an added plus for me.

Simply the Best

Best moisturiser I have ever used. The only one to genuinely make a real difference and not irritate my skin, from the moment I started using it. Since I've got into a routine now my skin has never felt better. Its silky smooth now and I've not had a spot or blemish since using this and the cleanser. I had given up on skin products and thought my dry irritated face was just something to learn to live with and manage best I could. Very cool packaging the way it locks on and off at a twist too. I've since bought the SPF cream, also great, hand and body cream. Also all great but this moisturiser will always be my No 1 recommendation to start with.

This moisturiser is very sticky and incredibly irritating on the skin. I thought it was going to do wonders like the Dermallegro serum however it is incredibly painful and leaves the skin irritated and dry

The only moisturizer I use now!

When I decided to finally take skincare seriously, this is one of the first products I got. Out of everything I’ve tried, it is one of the few that has become an absolute must-have… I definitely had a damaged barrier, and it got to work right away. It is so rich and soothing but doesn’t clog my pores- I am an adult with moderately sensitive combination skin. It may not work for everyone, but I feel like it was made for my exact skin type!

Too small means too much plastic waste

This is my favourite moisturizer, but the container is way too small. I run out frequently and I don’t like the amount of plastic I’m using up. Also don’t like that you can’t use every last drop of it - product remains in the little plastic pouch and unless you rip the top off which is difficult to do, you’re throwing away product at the end. It it came in a larger format (like the cleanser) I would give this 5 starts. Even more if it was a refillable system.

I bought this believing that Laroche Posay would be different. Unfortunately the ingredient propanediol is a no go for me as I am highly allergic to it. My skin is all the things this product is said to be for. Unfortunately with this chemical in it it is moot point.

Bring back the old formula!

Was a loyal customer for years and used to recommend Toleriane Ultra Fluid to everyone I knew. Since it was discontinued I have tried every other moisturiser in the Toleriane range and every one has left my skin extremely dry and irritated. Why get rid of a beloved product when nothing was wrong with it? Unfortunately have had to look to other brands for a suitable replacement.

Peels my skin off!

I had to switch to this one just because they didn’t continue to the Toleraine Ultra Fluide. I have a very sensitive skin. This one irritates my skin and peels it off even though it says that it hydrates the skin! I don’t know what to do. I will not buy La Roche moisturizer anymore!

Irritating and sticky

Toleriane Ultra Fluid which was a product before this one was just great: calming, non irritating, moisturizing, comfortable on skin. Dermallergo Fluid feels sticky after application, my skin burns, stings and gets hot. Both products are for sensitive skin but this one sadly is not good for me.

Calms the fire on my cheeks

This product is the only cream that soothes my skin instead of making it itchy, burning and painful. I am SO glad I found it. I have always had sensitive skin, but it’s become worse since my pregnancy. Toleriane Dermallergo is a blessing for me. Highly recommend.

Calming, Soothing Moisture

It seems the negative reviews are upset over a formula change (and I sympathize with those frustrations). However, I've only ever tried this particular formula, and am amazed at how it calms & soothes my sensitive combination skin. While lightweight, it DOES leave skin very moist & dewy, but I don't mind as I use it at night. Those seeking a matte finish, however, would probably dislike. I've experienced NO burning or breakouts (as some others have), and am surprised because so many other products tend to clog my pores. So I hope LRP will keep this one available, despite a few low ratings.

This was THE best moisturiser i ever used...before they changed the formula. It was literally the only thing i could put on my rosacea, acne prone skin without irritation and breakouts. Stings and face turns bright red!!! - do not use!

Toleriane ultra moisturiser has now been "improved" and is called Dermallergo. it is awful and immediately stings my face and I turn bright red! Makes my face sting and immediately turn bright red!!! Please bring back the original ultra cream - this stings and makes my face turn bright red! I also noticed that the new product has the Allergy UK endorsement seal on the box but will be contacting Allergy UK to ask them to withdraw their endorsement at the productclearly causes allergic reactions and is misleading.

Sensitive relief!

Old formula much nicer. New formula is tacky and stings eyes. Use the toleriane sensitive creme in the summer which is lovely but not enough moisture for the winter so tried the toleriane sensitive creme riche which feels good going on but dries quite matt. If something works why change it?

Formula change?

The formula seems to have changed on this, it used to be very light and almost gel-like. It is so thick and sticky now, I broke out the next day after using it. It isn't cheap either.

This product was my holi grail. I didn’t even know about the new formula til I read the review. I started feel this moisturiser doesn’t work on my skin anymore since few months ago. Its abit sticky and not sure if the new formula is very comedogenic? Extreme redness

I bought this today and I am so disappointed! I really hope it’s gonna suite me. I suffer from rosacea and this supposed to be for sensitive skin, however my skin just got so red and inflamed, literally was feeling like ai suddenly have a fever. Maybe it’s just me and the cream is great

But I decided to give this a try and it’s awful, it stings and it dries sticky and stay away from eyes bc if you get it near it will burn.

I don’t care what LRP says, this is not an improvement from the old formula, which was great for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. This one has isocetyl stearate high in the list of ingredients which is very comedogenic and will cause breakouts. Why change something that worked so well into something that’s going to make people’s skin worse?

Exceptionally Good lotion

I’ve been using a high strength retinol and had the red face, taught, dry burning skin. I bought this as it’s reviews state great for sensitive skin. Wow it’s amazing. I initially used a hydrating moisturiser on top of the retinol which made the stinging and burning worse. This when applied has no stinging, burning or other negative reactions. In fact it immediately calmed the affects of retinol and replaced the moisture and immediately soothed the unwanted side effects of retinol. Would highly recommend this product it’s amazing.

disappointing for me

I have been using Toleriane mosturizer for 8 years and have loved it but this new formula does not agree with my sensitive skin. My eyelids sting and the rest of my face still feels dry (tight). I find the constistency of this new product very watery not lotion like consistency.

Worth Purchasing!!

Although I have combination skin, I tend to get dry patches around my mouth that can cause itchiness and redness. I've been using this when needed for the last month and have really seen a difference. It's nice and lightweight, absorbs really well and soothes my irritated skin! Would definitely recommend to try out!

The Only Thing That Worked

I live in Ontario Canada and we've had some wicked weather lately. I never had an issue when I was younger BUT NOW I'm noticing the weather is really getting bad and I'm getting really bad red dry flaky skin mostly around my nose when I never used to before. THIS PRODUCT not only healed it all but I've found really protects against my skin. I would GLADLY PAY DOUBLE the price because it works that well.

Smooth!

I really like this moisturizer - it applies very smoothly and my skin absorbs it immediately. There is no residue left on my skin and no greasy feeling. It's an excellent moisturizer! I didn't give it 5 stars because of the packaging. It's impossible to get the last bit of lotion out of the bottle even though I can clearly see that there is at least several days' supply left in it. Turning it upside down makes no difference and so the last of the lotion is wasted.

dès la première utilisation j'ai remarqué une amèlioration remarquable de ma peau, a cause du masque qui sensibilise ma peau, j'ai des boutons et des rougeurs et tiraillement. ma peau est tres sensible mais avec l'utilisation de cette creme, j'ai beaucoup moins de boutons, ma peau est ultra lisse sans excès de gras et donc l'absorbtion se fait instentanement en laissant un fini agréable à la peau !!! je recommande a 100% c'est devenue ma nouvelle crème hydratante je n'utiliserais qu'elle !!!
