Caused Breakouts
Used for approximately 2 weeks and it caused whiteheads all over my forehead, chin, cheeks and jaw. Cannot remember ever being this severely broken out.

Please change packaging it won’t come out
This cream has been my first from this company and my love and hate product. I hate it because even from full it’s like empty and it gets worse and worse so your skin care becomes agitating not relaxing as you have to keep pumping to get some cream out. Then when you do the product is excellent. But I don’t know if I’ll buy again because of the stress and cost waste as I’m sure I’ll end up leaving some in. Please advise me if it comes in any other packaging as I would be a customer for life.

Amazing for Rosacea skin
I suffer from Rosacea and my skin is subsequently veery temperamental and sensitive. My dermatologist recommended the Toleriane line to me and I couldn't be happier. The creme sinks in well into the skin without any pilling or my skin feeling tight. It hasn't triggered any averse reactions or outbreaks. My skin feels hydrated and protected. I only wish the moisturizer was available in a larger size.

Wow - Game Changer
Got a complimentary sample of this before the Christmas cold blast. This is amazing at protecting the skin and is lovely and light. It does smell a bit "ointmenty" is there is such a word but it really glides on the skin leaving it smooth and soft. Dr. Emma Wedgeworth has always recommended this range and I have to say I hadn't got round to trying it... but will be back for more! Great also to see a good cream cleanser in this range which seem to be a thing of the past.

Saved my damaged skin barrier
I love this moisturizer!! It’s saved my damaged skin. I just wish the packaging was better. I’ve had to cut up so many tubes to use them up. Please upgrade the packaging (but keep the product as is).

Love it!

Not for everyone

Wish it was a little richer, but great for summer
I wish it was a little richer, with winter coming I doubt it's going to do the trick. It's a nice non-reactive cream, maybe a bit light for my newly minted midlife dry skin woes but for the cost it's still a nice addition.

Amazing!

NOT suitable for sensitive skin
I usually love la Roche posay products and decided to try this one. Immediately after applying my face started burning and became bright red. I left it on for around 10 minutes before washing my face because the burning was so bad. The next morning I woke up to a rash on my face. It’s been about 3 days now and my skin barrier is finally showing signs of calming down. I’m sure this product would be fine for people with non-sensitive skin, but if you have issues with irritation I would avoid this product.

I was surprised by how small it was.
I have several La Roche-Posay products at home, but this is my first time trying this one.
It’s one of the few products with a genuinely moisturizing texture.
It applies smoothly and spreads well, but the moisturizing effect doesn’t seem to last very long.

Saving grace
As a lifelong eczema sufferer I have sensitive skin as a result. Discovering this product has helped so much with my face. My skin hasn't been in better condition my whole life. For someone who has a daily battle with her skin, not having to constantly worry about my face is a breathe of fresh air

Love this cream

Good product, bad packaging
I love the product. But on the 3 occasions I have purchased, I only got about 5 squirts out of it. Either the packaging is bad or they have not put 40mg in it. Unfortunately I can't buy any more for this reason.

Perfect for me.

Please reconsider if you have super sensitive skin
I bought this product a few weeks ago and feel it was a rip off for the price. It left my sensitive skin dry, red, and tight. I am still healing the patches of eczema it left on my cheeks.

Great product, too small
This moisturizer is awesome, especially layered with others. It leaves a dewy finish and is great for nighttime. It's nourishing and comfortable and not greasy at all. I live in a dry climate and love it.
My only complaint (which is actually a major complaint) is that I use it up so fast. I find myself needing to buy every month. It would be great if there was a larger size available.

Unsure where squalane is derived from?
This seems like a good cream but Im scared to try it as some squalane is derived from wheat and I cannot have any products containing wheat or gluten. Please could you confirm where the squalane is sourced from?

Best cream for eczema prone skin!
As I've reached my 30s, my skin has become incredibly sensitive and is prone to flare ups. This cream keeps my skin in check, soothing and calming after a flare up. I also have fewer flare ups after adding this to my routine too. It feels nice, soft and light on my skin too. I won't use anything else.

Good for acne prone skin

Bad Packaging means 1/3rd left in the tube
Cream is ok, feels good & rubs in well. BUT you won’t use all of it as the packaging is awful. Get 2/3rds down & unless you have the strength of superman in your hands, you can’t squeeze any more cream out. I hate nothing more than waste & my hands hurt with trying. Won’t be buying again.

Gentle moisturizer for my combination skin
Since my usual moisturizer got discontinued by Neutrogena (oil free for combination skin), this is by far the best alternative I found, though this product is a bit pricey for its size.
I like that this doesn't burn my eyes unlike other products that I've tried. I also like how gentle it is on my skin. It leaves my skin a little bit shiny (but maybe I am putting a little too much).
Things for improvement would be a better squirt bottle. The current one is like a toothpaste tube.. the opening is huge and it's hard to control the amount of product that comes out. Also, the price is on the high side of my budget. Good thing I bought during Boxing Day for a 15% discount.

Used to love, no longer sinks in
I used to love this product, but it will no longer sink into my skin. It rolls off, and I can't use it any longer - putting on make-up is just a mess! Such a shame, I was a big fan.

I found my daily moisturizer!

During the winter, I often go for the rich formula.

Bought this yesterday after reading the reviews and after using the Cicaplast Baume B5+ and liking it. I have very very mild rosacea. A livery small amount of redness around the nose is mostly all I have. But I woke up this morning and around my nose, cheeks and chin are red with a red blood spot on one cheek! This is supposed to be for calming redness but it caused redness. I have never had a reaction to any cream or balm or any beauty product ever! I would recommend patch testing. Will never purchase again!

Serial repurchased product
I love this product as well as the Riche version, which I use more in winter time. I am in my 40s with skin that is mostly dry. I love that it is a squeezy tube which is great for travel. However I hate how stiff the tube is. Makes it very difficult to get the last dregs out when you are almost at the end. I end up having to cut it open and use a cotton bud, but thats not ideal, obviously. I also wish there was a larger size option like there is with Cicaplast, Im constantly repurchasing! I have been using this, and the Riche, for several years now, hands down my favourite moisturizers.

Great products!!!
I’ve been using La Roche-Posay products for two years and adore everything from their niacinamide to hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, moisturizer and sunscreen. Since I began using the niacinamide, the dark spots on my face have gradually faded. I love the way the moisturizer makes my skin feel smooth without being oily. I highly recommend them.

When I first tried this, I have a very itchy skin cause of dryness (i have combination skin and my "go to" is salicylic for acne) I don't want to be exaggerated but it really help my face. It calms my face instantly like magic and reduced the redness. I'm super amazed!

Best moisturiser
Absolutely love this stuff, best moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin, very hydrating and light which I love! Doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. The only thing that I find disappointing is that it doesn’t come in a bigger size , I use day and night so o tend to go through a bottle quickly.

Not for very sensitive skin
I tried this as I needed a new moisturiser for the cold temps in Canada. I noticed the last few days that my skin was fiery red and has been irritating me a lot more than usual. I also broke out in many spots across my cheeks and nose - which is super unusual for me. I then realised this was the only new addition to my skincare this week! I’m not sure how “sensitive” this sensitive cream is - and I do have very reactive skin, I can’t even use chemical sunscreen without irritation. But unfortunately this cream really made my skin react and break out. As soon as I washed it off this morning and put my old moisturiser on my skin calmed down massively. Be weary if you have *very* sensitive skin as it might not be the right fit for you. The packaging seems to be misleading - this may be good for sensitive leaning skin but it doesn’t appear to be suited for those with very sensitive skin.

Suitable for acne prone combo to oily skin
I love this product. I have an acne prone skin because of my skin type which is combination and oily. So it is hard to find a product that checks all the issues. After trying a lot of products, I found this better than the others. Although it holds oil from resurfacing for couple of hours or so, your skin can still get oily again depending on other elements that triggers it. Nevertheless, it does give you a healthy mattifying finish for a comparatively longer time.

Bought for my young daughters amazing

Itchy
I came to La Roche Posay after my current moisturiser by another brand was discontinued. I was searching for a miracle and sadly didn't find it with this cream. I have super sensitive and drying skin. Whilst I didn't experience the stinging burning sensation and it initially felt nice and cooling to apply, I was left with quite raw skin after just two days of use. Disappointed but appreciate everyone's skin is different!

heavy and thick mooisturizer
I bought this product because lately I have a lot of red blotchiness on my face and this was recommended. However after using it for over a month now my skin remains very red and blotchy. I also find it feels heavy and cloying on my face, thick and sticky , especially on these warm days. Also makes my skin shiny. Would not buy this again.

Noticeable difference
I have been using this product for the last six weeks and there is a noticeable difference in my skin. It's smoother, softer and more hydrated. I really do like this moisturizer but the size is so unbelievably small so you go through it way too quickly so for tjat reason I’m not likely to buy it on a regular basis.

Amazing moisturizer
I have dry, sensitive skin, this moisturizer is amazing, especially during the winter months when the indoor air is much drier. Easy to apply, absorbs quickly , providing a matte finish. It doesn't have a scent which is a plus.

Love it, I'm so glad I found out about this brand and product ! I have very very sensitive and allergy prone skin, and a damaged moisture barrier from trying different 'sensitive' brands over the years. But this one is so gentle feeling on my skin !
